First Floor:
Bedroom 1: Kingsize (5ft) Bed
Bedroom 2: 2 x Single (3ft) Beds

Bathroom: Bath With Shower Over, Toilet. Hollin Bank Cottage is part of a stone-built 19th century converted barn, with the owners living next door. The approach down a private drive is rewarded by long distance stunning views, east to the edge of the Pennines and north to the Yorkshire Dales. The cottage is ideal for a family with children or a group of friends who want a peaceful base for exploring Lancashire and Yorkshire. Although close to the thriving town of Barnoldswick, the cottage is very rural with often the only sound being the animals and birds. The nights at the cottage are dark with pinpricks of light shining from across the valley.
The Lancashire Way, Pendle Way and the Historic waterways walk run close to the house with the Pennine Way only 10 minutes away. Many walks, both long and short are accessible from the front door. The Leeds and Liverpool Canal winds its way through the tranquil valley just minutes away from the cottage. Leaving the locks at Barrowford and escaping from the tunnel onto the summit pound, the longest canal in Britain meanders along the valley to the next set of locks on its way down to Leeds.
If walking is not all you had planned the cottage is a great centre for exploring Lancashire and North Yorkshire. Blackpool is just an hour’s journey on the motorway, with its beaches, funfairs and attractions. The Lake District can be reached in under an hour and a half. Haworth, famous for being the home of the Bronte sisters can be explored across the mystic moors, and after you have explored the Bronte museum, what better than a ride on the Worth valley steam railway, setting for the popular film, The Railway Children. The market town of Skipton, with its award winning high street, shops and market as well as a medieval castle, is only 20 minutes away. To go west from the cottage into Lancashire brings you to the Pendle Witch Trail which leads you through an area of outstanding natural beauty to the county town of Lancaster. And a climb to the top of Pendle Hill is a rewarding, if energetic excursion.
