Excellent property in good location

The property is a well-maintained, terraced period property, in an upmarket Chester suburb. It is a real home-from-home, comfortable place, which contains everything needed for an enjoyable stay. The walk into Chester centre isn’t too far, a few local pubs and shops in the vicinity are useful. I would thoroughly recommend the property.

Charming Grade ll Listed Property

A well maintained and stylish cottage with helpful owners who supplied some welcome goodies on arrival and were super-quick to respond to any messages. The house has a well equipped kitchen, spacious bathroom, comfy beds and quality bed linen too. Overall a great Chester base and although parking could be a challenge there's enough comings and goings to find a space either directly outside or close by. Also don't ignore Handbridge itself or the local butcher Ernest Edge & Son.

Mini break

The property was superbly located within a short walk of Chester City centre and all the shops, bars, cafes and the cathedral. The accommodation was extremely comfortable and the facilities (bedding, towels, welcome pack) were all of excellent quality. Craig and Branca were wonderful hosts who answered all our queries quickly, efficiently and in a freindly manner. Would certainly stay here again should we return to Chester and would recommend the property without hesitation

Perfect!

Absolutely lovely accommodation in close proximity to Chester town centre. Couldn't have been better! The attention to detail by Branca & Craig was amazing, including the welcome pack. The kitchen and bathroom were well equipped with good quality products and there was an excellent supply of staples to make use of. The beds in both bedrooms were very comfortable, and the whole house was warm, clean, welcoming and homely.

Excellent property to explore Chester

Good positioning , easy to walk into Chester but also easy to explore the surrounding area. Comfortable beds, lovely bathroom, well appointed kitchen. Parking can be a bit tricky but did find a spot on nearby road. Good communication with owner even with a slight hiccup on arrival this was swiftly rectified.

Relaxing Holiday in Chester

There’s not a great deal that I can add to previous reviews. Everything about 3 Pyecroft Street is perfect, from its location 10 minutes’ walk from Chester city centre to the property itself, which is extremely comfortable and very well appointed, with everything you could possibly need. The welcome pack was an added bonus, and communication with Branca and Craig both before and during our stay was excellent. We were really looking forward to our holiday, and we certainly weren’t disappointed. Highly recommended - five stars all round!

Perfect location and home from home

Great communication with the hosts, they provided us with all the information we required for an easy check in and they were friendly and warm. They even provided us with welcome treats on our arrival, which was very much appreciated. The house was lovely and clean, it was decorated nicely and had everything we needed for a short stay. We really enjoyed using the courtyard for our mealtimes. The house is also in a perfect location as everything we wanted to see in Chester was in easy walking distance. Thank you.

Excellent all ‘round.

Great stay at 3 Pyecroft. Very comfortable, stylish home with everything we needed supplied. Lovely breakfasts in the courtyard, comfortable beds and big bathroom. Friendly and attentive hosts. Easy on-street parking. The house is in a great location, an easy walk over the bridge and into town. And a great base for wider exploring. Excellent coffee at Obscure on Lower Bridge Street and interesting wines at Veeno in Northgate. Embrace holidays in the UK, and book weekends away in places like this. Recommended.

Delightful cottage cloee to city centre

A lovely terraced cottage with lots of period features in particular a log fire. The kitchen is well equipped and Branca and Craig provide lots of basic store cupboard neccesities such as tea, coffee and sugar, oil, salt and pepper. The bathroom was stocked with toiletries too and they had thoughtfully provided baby wash as they knew we were coming with a baby. It"s really close to the city centre, a 10-15 min walk dependent on your speed. All in all a lovely little cottage.

Lovely house, great location, everything you need

A very clean, well equipped house. Branca was excellent to communicate with, and dealt with all the date changes caused by Covid, and the addition of an extra day and an extra guest without any issues at all. One of the best equipped houses I have stayed in, and very clean as well. I'd have no hesitation in staying at one of her properties again

Wonderful cosy February break..

Stayed here for a few days in February loved the house so warm cosy and comfortable. The house was very clean and the owner had thought of everything to make it comfortable. Handbridge is lovely great pubs and independent shops plus a hand co-op around the corner. We left the car and after exploring Chester caught the train to Liverpool and explored North Wales. Would definitely recommend.

I love Chester and I'm very proud to call it home. Being a host for me is about helping people make special memories of this beautiful city. Offering you a place which is as welcoming in the English winter as it is at the height of summer, with its own little story in the history of Chester. Top tip - walk the walls, in any weather, it gives you a different perspective of the city.
