DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!

To summarize in a nut shell it was a joke when we arrived that the place was creepy and that someone must have been murdered here because of all the stains in the carpets and dirty walls. No dish towels to dry dishes and no dishwasher tabs to use the dishwasher. No oven mitts to remove hot items from the oven, no dish soap or trash bags (they give you 1 but a family of 7 will use that in a heartbeat). Water brown, small hand towels left for 2 adults, towels left wet in the washer. Note to owners: if you don't want to put the effort and time in taking care of your place then don't rent it out to guests that spend a lot of money to come see your country only to have it ruined by places like yours. OVERPRICED FOR THIS MURDER SCENE.

The cottage is in a lovely location by the canal with a great view.

The cottage is in a lovely location by the canal with a great view... but if you like to be close to a corner shop, pub or to be able to make a quick getaway, maybe choose a different cottage. Surprisingly though its not that quiet at night as a number of folks nearby leave quite early. We had lovely stay and the owner quickly resolved the issues we reported to him. Lots of space in the cottage, but also a few quirks / issues being sorted on a longer term (handbasins in rooms but not plumbed in). Thank you so much for receiving / delivering my parcel!

Peaceful and the ideal place to chill out and take in the lovely views of the Nevis range. Weather permitting.
