About this property

200 M2 Dreamhouse for 10 with private pool and garden in beautiful park

Totally renovated and daringly different from any other rental in the area, staying in this house will create long lasting memories!

In fact you will have two houses - but now connected - resulting in a quirky and quaint property full of fun surprises...
One house was the Caretaker`s home, the other was the Coachdriver`s apartment & stable. That dates back to roughly 1850. When renovating the houses, we wanted to preserve elements that will remind us of their history.

Today, you will enjoy four spacious bedrooms, three bathrooms, a well equipped kitchen adjacent to a very bright and large living area. There is also another living/TV/Game, Play .. room so space enough for two families. One of the bedrooms is on ground level; no need to climb stairs for anything.

Of course there is all you need: from large screen TV `s to BBQ s and garden furniture. But this is also a very cosy home for the fall and winter. There is AC that also heats. There are plenty of games and toys.



Weather permitting, we open the heated pool around mid-April and close it sometime in September. The house is set in a 2 Acre garden with play areas such as swings and slides and a huge Chess game.

The pool is heated in spring once weather permits this.

Parties and receptions are not allowed.

The house is not only close to Disneyland (about 10 minutes max), but even closer to one of Europe`s largest Shopping Malls: Val D`Europe, with its huge outlet.
Paris is just 30 km away and - outside the typical commute times it will take you not more than 30 minutes to drive into town. But there is also the RER and it is easy to park nearby to get on this train.

What to do ?
Apart from Disneyland Paris and the city itself, there is a lot to see and do: there are Many castles nearby; Vaux le Vicomte, Fontainebleau, Champs, Compiègne etc. The champagne area is an hour away and we can recommend some very good small producers.
Paris offers endless options with it many museums, historical sites, river tours, (antique) markets and of course the many culinary choices..

Near us is Lagny-sur-Marne : an old small town where you can find on the market fresh produce from local farmers. This is the Brie area, but you find any cheese you want.

On arrival your beds are made. You will have towels and kitchen linen. Cleaning at the end of your stay is also included.
The house is comfortable for 10 guests and one or two babies.
Two rooms have double beds the other rooms have each three single beds that can be made into doubles.

One bathroom has only a shower. The other bathrooms have both a bath and (separate) shower.

Exceptional property near Disneyland and Paris

This is an exceptional property (with the most amazing hosts) set in parkland with swimming pool and extremely easy access to travel to Disneyland and into Paris. We were a family of 10 (3 generations) and the accommodation couldn’t have been better to give the children the freedom to play inside or outside. Comfortable beds, plenty of towels, kitchen equipment, children’s toys and accessories that make your stay so comfortable. The host Vic was the most helpful both before and during our stay. Even after our stay (when we forgot something) Vic found a solution to get this sorted. Vic even went to get some groceries from the supermarket before our arrival when our flight was delayed. There was also a very welcome bottle of wine to start us off with. Vic checked in a couple of times during our stay when he saw us in the garden and when we arrived back late he left lanterns out in the driveway to welcome us back. Vic was always so keen to do everything to make our holiday comfortable. Can be difficult to find the location of the property due to private no entry drive but this makes it more special, quiet and private and once you’ve found it/taxis locate it it’s very easy to find. Nice walks around lake locally, Val de Europe for all your shopping and plenty of supermarkets and train stations. So just a perfect holiday location.

Olympic Family holiday

This is a truelt exceptional property , set in a forest and within walking distance to restaurants, bars in Montévrain. The hosts were incredibly helpful and always responded to our questions. One of our very best holidays , thank you V&M

Family stay in July 2024

Having booked this super early and without realising it was the week before the Olympic Games began, we were amazed that it was so secluded and extremely close to Paris centre as well as Disneyland and Val de Europe AND that everywhere wasn’t overcrowded. Our hosts were excellent and super helpful. Absolutely idyllic spot and fantastic pool which the toddlers all really enjoyed. Even had inflatables and a badminton net adjacent for the adults to entertain themselves. We’d certainly come again if wanting a safe environment for the children within easy access of so many sights and attractions. Thank you so much Vic for a memorable and enjoyable stay - Barbara et al

Family holiday

The house was absolutely beautiful. Very well equipped. Great location for Disney. However we didn’t have a car so used Ubers which were also great and Uber eats delivered groceries and an Italian meal. The hosts Vic & Henrietta were lovely and took us shopping on our first day.

Good place

We were 5 adults and 3 children aged 9, 12 and 13. The house is a clever but curious conversion and very spacious. The living area/kitchen can take 10 people easily. 1 double bedroom is on the ground floor with a separate toilet and also a shower/bath room. Another double bedroom with ensuite is on the first floor and also has a single bed (good for a child who needs care/supervision). The third double bedroom is on the second floor and shares a bathroom with the final bedroom room up on the loft floor, which has 3 single beds. We put the kids up at the top because their legs were younger!!! The Dutch hosts who live next door are great and very willing to help and solve any minor issues that arose. Will definitely consider going back when the weather is warmer and the pool is open.

Would definitely recommend

The hosts were so communicative before and during our stay. Property is excellent for socialising with the family and has all of the amenities needed. It’s a really beautiful house and grounds. Nice touches in the evenings when we returned from Disney, like a lit pumpkin on the doorstep, and candles lit along the drive. They even left some wine in the fridge for when we arrived. Really easy to commute to Disney - less than 10 mins in an Uber that was 14 euros each way. Supermarket close by too. I’m nitpicking but my only recommendation if you’re staying here is to take your own pillows as the ones provided are quite uncomfortable. And psyche yourself up for the early checkout after days walking around theme parks etc. Will 100% stay here again.

Disney land Paris stay for 4 adults 2 kids

The house was absolutely beautiful, really clean plenty of towels too super comfy beds our children loved the little toys that were in the house for them to play with. Lots of shops near by and a big shopping mall - we hired a car as we were visiting Disneyland Paris so was easy for us to drive around to. Owners kept in touch with us on the lead up and during our stay very helpful people. We would definitely book here again.

Perfect Disney getaway location!

Beautiful family friendly villa

Amazing beautiful Villa. Way above expectations and suited us perfectly! It felt as if you was in the middle of nowhere but actually only 10mins from Disneyland Paris. We will be definitely booking again as it was a villa you could stay the week and not go anywhere else. Added bonus of seeing wild boars, piglets and the parakeets. Just a fantastic experience. Fabulous gite

Wonderful!

We stayed twelve days in ‘Maison du Jardin’ with the view to experience Disneyland. The house was clean, very well equipped and was the ideal relaxation spot for the quiet days in between our visits to Mickey. The owners, who live in the adjacent property, couldn’t have been more helpful. We had sole use of the swimming pool, and the beautiful grounds were an absolute delight. Perhaps the only down side was the amount of stairs in the house, not ideal for toddlers or those who are infirm, although a downstairs bedroom and bathroom facilities could overcome the latter. A few tears were shed when the children were leaving!

Fantastic Property in a great location

We had a fantastic week at this amazing property. The location is perfect and really secluded. The property has so much character and the grounds are perfection. The owners of the property were very friendly and helpful and we felt very welcome. The only downside would be upon checkout we felt a little rushed by the cleaners. They were cleaning around us an hour before our checkout time, this made it a little difficult trying to pack the car with young children.

Thank you for a great stay!

Lovely property that is large enough that everyone can be together or have own space. The grounds are vast and our children loved playing outside. We enjoyed our stay and found the owners really welcoming and helpful throughout. The location is great for Disney, as well as Val d’Europe and is also a quick train ride into Paris. Lagny-sur-Marne town was also nearby and we enjoyed our visit to the market there. We had a great holiday and would happily revisit again in future.

Great location for Disney trip

A lovely property located nicely with everything you need around you, but with the feeling of being out of the city. The property is a lovely stable conversion, the photos don't do it justice. Vic made us feel welcome and was helpful with local advice. The property is well equipped, but could do with a few extra things to help young families. The addition of plastic plates/cups would be good, the tiled floors are unforgiving. Also the stairs are a concern for younger ones (2.5 & 4.5), the stair Gates we found were broken or missing parts.

Large family holiday home

Simply beautiful

A beautiful house in beautiful surroundings. Great hosts who seem to have thought of everything you may need and always available to help or answer questions both before arrival as well as whilst you are there. A great location for exploring the area and close to Disneyland for families. A very relaxing family break which was just perfect. Can't wait to return.

Fantastic family base for disney

Have just enjoyed a wonderful stay at this beautiful house. Set in woodland but within 10 minutes drive of everything you need. Plenty of space for our party of 6 adults and 2 young children but could easily accommodate 10+. Hosts are open and friendly and are available immediately if you should have any issues which we didn't. Will becoming back again soon.

Fantastic house

This house is absolutely brilliant for a couple of families as it is really spacious and there is plenty of space for everyone. Our hosts met us on arrival and were so helpful throughout our stay without being intrusive. The house was spotlessly clean and well equipped with all you would require for a great holiday. The weather was unseasonably cold for our arrival so the pool was not open but as the weather improved the pool was opened up and the kids braved the pool and the adults sat around and enjoyed the sun by the pool. We did not hire a car which I think would be a good idea but we managed well enough by hiring taxis to get to and from Disney which is close by and then the days we visited Paris we could catch a bus a short walk from the house to Val de Europe station and then the train to central Paris. I would highly recommend this house for a large group as there is lots of space inside and outside.We would love to come back and stay here again as I don't think you could ever tire of Paris and there seems to be alot more things to see and do even within the area that the house is in.

Our family loved it!

As we entered the gate to the property, everyone was in awe of the beauty of the owner’s residence and our own dream house for the week. The grounds over the entire property are beautiful although it is a work in progress, it was still very well kept. We arrived the first week of April, and there was a lot of landscaping going on in preparation for Spring and Summer. We were greeted with the sounds of nature every morning. We enjoyed bird-watching, and hiking a nearby trail to the river that merges with the Seine River, we saw tulips blooming, and even saw deer on a few occasions. The Dreamhouse is close to Disneyland, Mall shopping and local markets on certain days. We stayed for my Mother and Mother-in-laws 80th birthdays this year and they still can’t stop raving about it. Its rustic charm and modern amenities made us feel at home and the owners Vic and Mieke welcomed us with open arms. We highly recommend you stay here…and stay longer than a week!

Exploring East Paris

My wife and I are on a month long trip around Europe with another couple. We where looking for a unique experience outside of the touristy areas and this place is amazing. Plenty of local shops, 10 minutes from Disney, and about an hour drive to some historic Chateaus or the champagne area. The house is clean, very unique and Vic is the most helpful host you could ask for. I will stay here again.

Why they chose this property

We just renovated this old house. This is a perfect fit for two families /10 guests but we can put in an extra bed of your group would be 11. We have two kots, so bring the youngest ones also! The house is near all that you need, but still nicely hidden in a small forest.

What makes this property unique

A unique setting: Just minutes away from Disneyland Paris and Val D'Europe and about 30 minutes from Paris, but then in a forest. Within an hour you are in the Champagne area, Fontainebleau, Vaux le Vicomte or many of the other sites you want to tick off your bucket list.. This spacious house is very comfortable with great beds, four bedrooms, three bathrooms. We heat the pool from approximately mid April to early September, but the house is perfect year-round!
