Quiet for our very close neighbours at all times. Noise travels in outdoor areas. The courtyards are used as a path of travel not for entertaining.
No additional Guests or Visitors at the property at any time . No groups under 25 years. No large groups for celebratory weekends / party weekends.
Evenings, we ask guests to close doors adjoining the courtyard areas. This will stop noise from travelling. Keep the Heating or Cooling running better

Excellent location

From start to finish the whole experience was very smooth. Excellent communication with the host throughout. Location of the property is 15 minute walk from the harbour. Views of the Opera House as you walk down. Great pub across the road which does food. Some lovely restaurants and cafes nearby. Lovely walks around the property too. Excellent views of harbour bridge from the observatory around the corner. Cannot fault the property/location. Property was spotlessly clean and has everything you could need.

Short visit to bridge and ferries

Very well placed for the sydney bridge climb and accessing the ferries. One en-Suite and one shared bathroom for the other two bedrooms. Worked well for our family.

Small but perfectly formed!

This little three bed unit is unique. The living space is snug to say the least for 5 adults, but I doubt if many people stay here to spend time indoors! More should be made of the close proximity of the lift down to the harbour - once we found this it was a game changer (we stayed on the ‘muggiest’ day on record so walking up and down the hills was a pain. The lift goes to on of the Wilson parking garages on Hickson rd. again, making clear which one is best in the listing would really aid out of town travellers. Plus points: Aircon efficient, hot water plentiful, beds comfortable. Location superb for CBD and waterfront. Suggestions: Clearly mark this listing as unsuitable for those with mobility issues, the hilly terrain and external and internal steps are difficult to negotiate. The house bathroom has no lock so we had to devise a signalling system to indicate occupancy. Weather conditions were challenging during our stay, but once we stumbled upon the lift we found walking on the waterfront to pick up the ferry or light rail to get around Sydney was a doddle. We enjoyed our stay, but prior warning of all the steps might have influenced our booking.

Stunning area, perfect for exploring the city and catching the ferries at circular Quay. Communication with Kate prior to our visit and Sam during was excellent. Really enjoyed our stay here. Thank you.

Fantastic Location with a Helpful and Friendly Host

What a fantastic location, CBD is a 15 minute saunter away, the Opera House, Harbour Bridge and Central Quay all within minutes walk from here. The apartment is well appointed and comfortable, all the three bedrooms are comfortable and in good order. It’s a lovely slightly quirky and fun apartment. The host is flexible, helpful and easy to contact. Can’t recommend this site highly enough. We had a lovely week in the centre of Sydney in a comfortable apartment, thanks.

Phenomenal Stay!

I booked 1 night in addition to the 6 nights my best friend had already booked so altogether I was at Rocks Cottage A an entire week. It was PHENOMENAL! Such a lovely and well outfitted accommodation and so close to everything! An easy walk to Barangaroo, the Harbour Bridge, the Opera House, the Markets and Circular Quay - which connects you by ferry, train or bus to everything else! Comfortable and charming with location, location, location! The owner was delightful and also offered very helpful suggestions.

Love On The Rocks

Fantastic! Great home in a neighborhood with a pub on every corner where the locals gather every evening and solve the world’s problems. A trip to remember for a lifetime.

Lovely, quaint apartment

this was a lovely apartment. Was our artistically decorated, very clean, the host was absolutely wonderful and helpful, the living room area is small and we had four people including two big men but we loved this cute little place so much that we didn't even notice the tight fit! It is across the street from from the water, but the apartment itself does not overlook the harbor

Location central

Nice clean place. Located within driving distance of the opera house. No wifi and lots of stairs so keep that in mind. Otherwise very nice cute and smaller with a European vibe

Great host and location

Host was great! Went out of her way to help us and allowed us to drop our bags off early. Home is very quaint and in a great location. If you’re skirmish about cockroaches, be aware that there are several. host. Said that is typical for this time of year, but they did freak us out as they were large and flying. We loved the location and our hosts.

An excellent location to explore Sydney. Lovely vibrant neighborhood. Interesting as it is a heritage property with so much history. Main living area a bit small, good space up with 3 bedrooms and 2 baths although the beds could be a bit more comfortable. Disappointing that there is no WiFi. Great communication with the host, especially if we needed anything.

Weekend in the rocks

Perfect location. In the city to see Cirque du Soleil and to enjoy Barangaroo and the rocks. Cottage exactly what I imagined and great memories captured. Sam great host and Max was pretty cute!

Fantastic Find

My two adult children and I highly recommend this Millers Point property. Centrally located with easy access to sights, restaurants, cafes, ferries, shops. The property manager provided all the needed info promptly and professionally, with additional clear written instructions. Fun decor in this historic, unique building. Thoughtfully equipped and stocked kitchen and baths. Climbing steps is a must, as was outlined on the VRBO listing. Hot weather during our stay not a problem with efficient A/C in bedrooms! Loved it!

Sydney getaway

Lovely historic property in an excellent location. Walkable to everything. Would be nice to have an outdoor space to enjoy with the property but there are so many common spaces close by, it’s a minor issue.
