This beautiful modern 136 square meter country house is the perfect place for your visit. With breathtaking views of the majestic mountains and all amenities you are guaranteed a truly relaxing holiday. This totally quiet spot is surrounded by hiking and biking trails. An easy 15KM drive to Salzburg, our house is centrally located for many tourist activities. A short drive to many ski resorts as well as Austria's famous Lake and If Spa areas make it a perfect place for any season.


Further Details: This wood floored house sleeps 4-6 with two roomy bedrooms, each with double beds and plenty of storage. There is also a pull-out double sofa bed in the upstairs loft which sleeps 2. The modern kitchen is fully equipped with a radiant stove top, wall oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, blender, coffee maker and all dishes, pots, pans and utensils. The large open style living room has 3 floor to ceiling windows revealing fantastic mountain views. A large dining area seats 6 comfortably. There is a full bath and stall shower. Our house is fully wireless, and has a brand new HDTV and cable for your entertainment pleasure. The house has a large yard, BBQ grill and large terrace with table and chairs. Owner lives on premises in separate apartment.

Lovely, comfortable apartment

Stayed here in February and the apartment was very warm, spacious and comfortable. Quiet location near town of Hallein which has a few restaurants. If you are skiing, bear in mind the resorts most likely to have snow are 1 - 1.5 hours away, but doable. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Beautiful Place

The window view here is incredible, the photos don't do it justice. House is large and open and in a very quiet area, but within happy driving distance of multiple day trips (Wolfgansee, Hallstatt, Eagles Nest etc etc) and so is a perfect location. The host (Joy) was also incredibly helpful and sorted out any issues for us straight away, very kindly. The only minor problem with the house for us was that the TV lacked the apps (netflix Disney etc) which would have been useful for the kids. But that's the smallest of problems when the view is so amazing!

Awesome views and fantastic modern house

We loved our stay here. We had everything we needed, and more! And the huge picture window of the mountains was mesmerising. We were glad of our car to get to the shops and restaurants as we hadn’t appreciated the distance into Hallein. But it’s a fantastic comfortable house near lakes, mountains, good beer and good Austrian food - what’s not to like!

Lovely house in a great location!

We’d really recommend staying here - the location is amazing; within easy reach of Salzburg, the mountains of Germany and stunning scenery in the locality. The house itself has a great view of the mountains and is well apportioned, particularly in the kitchen diner / lounge and mezzanine. We had a lovely welcome from the host and communication about our stay was excellent!

Wow, that view is something!

Wow, that view is something, could hardly take my eyes off it. Like others who have reviewed the property, we found the welcome wonderful Joy showed us around and had put milk, fruit juice, eggs and butter in the fridge along with bread and fruit which was great as we arrived after the shops shut and they were not open on Sundays. However my husband found the petrol station which also sells beer wine and some breakfast cereals.... The house was clean and well maintained. Plenty of everything. Lorrie was quick to answer questions and sent me a fantastic list of places to visit and places to stop on our drive from Vienna. So helpful even before we left the UK. Joy was great to have next door, my oldest son loved playing the odd game of football with her son - thanks! What was lovely was having her next door, but if you didn't need her you'd not know she was there! We also had a fab afternoon at the local swimming pool, thanks again for the directions. I have already told all my friends about this wonderful place, not only is the houses location fantastic for sitting and looking out the window but sooo many places to visit within a short drive. Ice caves, salt mine, summer tobogganing to name but a few. I can not express how much fun we had and I am sure this is partly due to Lorrie and Joy. Thanks.

Very nice property and location

The property is really high quality and the view is gorgeous. The location is quiet but very convenient to everything we wanted to do. Only two points to mention - the refrigerator was not working (great communication with the manager - they found a solution very quickly) and the upstairs window did not open (which made it a bit hot for the kids to sleep there). If they fixed those two minor things, I would give this a 10/10. As it was, it was still like a 9/10.

Joy was a great host — didn’t have the chance to actually meet, but was very available, informative, and friendly. The house (and view) was beautiful, and huge! Perfect stay for those visiting Salzburg and Hallien.

Wunderschöne, ruhige Umgebung

Wir (4 Erwachsenen und 2 Kinder) haben 6 Tagen in Adnet bei Hallein über Ostern verbracht. Das Haus ist großzügig, großes Wohnzimmer mit Kamin und mit einer Galerie, 2 Schlafzimmer, Bad mit Wanne und Dusche und ein separates WC. Blick auf die schneebedeckte Berge durch die großen Fenster und von der Terrasse. Schlüsselübernahme und Abgabe unkompliziert, die Vermieterin reagiert schnell und hilfsbereit. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet, der einzige kleine Kritikpunkt ist das Ceran Kochfeld, es hat nicht immer getan, was wir wollten. Salzburg in 20, die Berge herum in 40-50 Autominuten erreichbar. Parkplätze direkt vorm Eingang. Wir haben eine schöne Zeit gehabt. Eine klare Empfehlung für diejenigen, die nach einem ruhigen Ort suchen.

Beautiful spacious and clean apartment fully equipped

Wow! Wonderful apartment with a beautiful view! We thoroughly enjoyed staying here! We had every amenity we could possibly need during our stay. We even did laundry as it was in the middle of our trip. Great location near Salzburg and Berchtesgaden National Park and Hellbrunn Castle.

House in the country

You’re very nice updated house in the country. The location was perfect for day trips around the Salzberg area. We definitely enjoyed the view from the living room while drinking our coffee in the morning. The communication with Joy was prompt and easy. I would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful Stay!

The pictures of the views from this home do not do it justice. Quiet, peaceful neighborhood surrounded by mountains and fields, yet close to so many day trip destinations. The home was immaculate and comfortable. The owners could not have been more accommodating and friendly, with great communication. We cannot wait to return!

House with a beautiful view

Great house with lots of room to relax and a view to remember forever. There is ample parking space for even a large vehicle. The kitchen was very well equipped and there was wood available for the fireplace. The beds were comfortable and private so the kids could sleep while we enjoyed the living space. Very reasonable drive into Salzburg for all the tourist things and there are plenty of local restaurants within a short drive as well. The road into the house is a bit different but pretty normal for the area after you drive around the country a bit. Google maps won’t drop you off at the house so try getting a Plus Code especially if arriving at night.
