Oceanfront Sandy Beach Vacation Rental Unit 1

We have two oversized second story apartments directly on a private Sandy Beach. Both apartments have had complete renovations completed December, 2017, with new kitchens, new bathrooms, floors, etc. Each unit sleeps a maximum of 4 people. Rent with rental number 9131033 (separate reservation and fees) to sleep up to 8 people. Walk from your front door onto a large sand bar in the Atlantic Ocean. Watch the sunrise and sunset from this uniquely located private triplex. Tie up your boat directly behind the property on the sandbar or dockage and boat launch available across the street on the Bay side. Amazing sea life right at the beach, stingrays, puffer fish crabs, shark. Fish right from the shore. When tide is out you can walk hundreds of feet into the ocean on the sand bar. We also have two kayaks for you use

These units each accommodates 4 people with 1 King bed, A queen sized sofa bed and a rollaway bed available. Rent with mirror image unit next door to accommodate 8.

We are in a very unique natural habitat. There are times, depending on the tides, when thick seaweed, rocks, and other items wash up on our shoreline. We recommend always wearing water shoes.

A little piece of paradise

Loved, loved loved this place. Beautiful apartment with your very own sandy beach. Loved every minute of our time here. House had everything you could possibly need and was spotlessly clean. It was great to watch the sunrise every morning from our balcony with a nice coffee. We utilised the kayaks everyday and even saw a wild manatee as well as loads of other wildlife. There are sunbeds and chairs to just sit and watch the sea and relax. We had a couple of beach fires and BBQs. It's a great location, being midway, to visit all of the keys and the attractions. Marathon has everything you need and we found a cute little produce market and a fresh fish market if you don't want to use supermarkets. Key West is a must and is only an hour away. We stayed overnight so we could enjoy Duval street in full but the whole place is great. Rhonda, who looks after the place, was wonderful. She came by a couple of times and we had a blast chatting on the beach and she made our last night there more memorable too. She gives you advice and spots to visit as well as sorting any issues with the property out. We were very lucky to have the whole place to ourselves for most of the 2 weeks and it was a memorable, belated honeymoon after having to cancel our previous trip because if Irma. Thank you so much and hopefully we'll be back to this beautiful place.

Amazing ocean front views. Sunrises spectacular right out the front door. Cleanest place we have been in. Andy was very quick to respond to our questions. Never have returned to the same place when visiting my son but I will definitely return to this place. Thank you Andy.

Belated Anniversary Trip

Our second trip to Marathon. We stayed on the other side of the same property this trip. Beautiful place, very clean. Sunrises are a must see. Absolutely breathtaking and the view at this property couldn’t be better. Had a wonderful, peaceful trip. Can’t wait to go back and can’t imagine staying anywhere else.

Marathon

Great location. Nice upgrades in kitchen and bathroom. Living room ac didn’t work correctly. It was reported but never fixed. The dining room fan and light didn’t work. Kitchen light went out on the 3rd day. The light socket on lamp by from door was falling apart. (Unsafe) The outside beach area was covered with trash. I spent about an hour picking broken glass and trash. It wasn’t the situation but we made the best of it and had and great time. We won’t go back.

Not what I expected

First of all...the very first picture online is not the property. I'm not sure where it is but it is not this property. The property is right on the ocean and is a nice beach but does have lots of grass in the water. The bedroom picture, the picture with pelicans on the dock are also not this property. The owner is not very communicative. There was supposed to be an inspection while we were there and I left him a message about it. No answer from owner, no text or any kind of communication. The stairs and the wooden railing need to be updated. The stairs themselves are warped and the railing is loose so be careful. The AC in the living is not working the way it should but it did keep the room cool enough to be comfortable. Positive things are that the couches, table etc were awesome. The kitchen has everything that you need but it doesn't have a dishwasher. It didn't matter for the two of us but it might for others. It also has an icemaker in the refrigerator but it doesn't work so you have to break out ice cubes from trays and refill. The property was very clean but the outside was more scattered. We did have a good time. The property isn't perfect but it was comfortable and was a nice place to come home to at the end of a busy day of touristing in the Florida Keys!

location is great. close enough to marathon for easy access to activities and restaurants, but far enough away to avoid heavy traffic and crowds. clean property. excellent communication with owner when needed. nice private beach on which to sit and relax or read or just bird watch. have already booked same property for christmas this year.

Beautiful, Comfortable & Perfect

We loved being on the water. The creatures that live in the water in the Keys were remarkable to see. The area around the property was quiet and well kept. The inside of our bungalow was very comfortable and well stocked. We loved it and will most likely be back next year.

Amazing property

This place is beautiful. It’s not really for swimming due to all the sea grass but it was perfect otherwise. The property manager was very fast at responding to questions. It’s centrally located which was fantastic! The house itself could have used a good cleaning due to cobwebs and ants but otherwise it was the perfect size for the two of us! We loved it!

Condo was perfect size for two we enjoyed the bay, there was seaweed and often hard to get out but I think that was just the time of the year. Loved how it was close to everything, we enjoyed ourselves and would highly recommend!! Till next time Marathon

Relaxing Vaca

We had a great time relaxing at this beautiful Beach House. The water out front is not a place to depend on swimming in BUT awesome for sea life, sunrises and bird watchers. We visited all the beaches close by, Founders Park in Islamorada being our favorite, Sombrero in marsthon coming in second. Bahai Honda rated most beautiful!!!! The condo itself was clean, cool and had everything we needed and more!!

Amazing view, peaceful location, perfect for couples!

This property is great for a couples get-away. Bed is comfortable, kitchen well stocked. View from the deck is amazing, nice beach to relax on, although, there's a bit of seaweed that collects at the edge of the water but easy enough to step through. This is a great central location in the Keys, about an hour and half from The Everglades or Key West. Communication with Andrew is excellent, easy to contact and he responds quickly to questions. March is a great time to stay, we had no mosquitos.
