This comfortable family detached Villa is situated within the acclaimed San Juan de Capistrano urbanisation in Nerja, an oasis of beautifully maintained properties and gardens. Well equipped and modern, it features 4 well-sized air-conditioned bedrooms to sleep 7 people, free wifi internet access and a large south facing garden and terrace. It is quiet and commands excellent mountain & partial sea views. Villa Sol Jardin has a floor area of 120 square metres and the property features quality furnishings and tiled floors. The villa and terrace are all on one level. The living area and all 4 bedrooms have air conditioning and heating for the winter months. The shared pool is one of the best in Nerja and there is a choice of half a dozen restaurants within 500 metres of the villa. The villa is all on one level and with an enclosed garden it is safe for youngsters. Nerja is a beautiful town and has maintained its Andalucian charm, but bulging with excellent restaurants & charming shops.

Activities: There are a number of excellent beaches in Nerja.
Walking, cycling, golf, boating, diving, surfing, fishing, paragliding, tennis, water parks, horse riding and horse drawn carriage rides are all close by. In winter the Sierra Nevada ski resort is less than 90 minutes drive away: you could ski in the morning and go to the beach in the afternoon!
Within a short drive are Granada, Malaga, Marbella, Gibraltar and Cordoba.

Transfers: The nearest airport to Nerja is Malaga, served by scheduled and charter carriers from most UK airports.
Car hire is recommended. From Malaga Airport it is mainly motorway and very straightforward, taking only 45 minutes. We provide comprehensive directions for our guests. Alternatively bus or taxi transfers can be arranged from the airport.

Wonderful villa in great location

Villa Sol Jardin is a lovely villa with ample space for 6 adults and was a real home from home. It is extremely well equipped with just about anything and everything you could need for your stay. The provision of beach towels was welcomed as was the mid stay linen change. San Juan de Capistrano is a perfect base for a break in Nerja with the pool that we love and several good restaurants, bars and supermarkets nearby. What is also available in the town is of course amazing and with the hourly bus to either the beach (am only) or down towards the Balcon, everything is really on your doorstep. The owners were great at communicating and always responded really quickly to any enquiries. Would highly recommend this villa and would certainly come back again if returning to San Juan de Capistrano.

Beautiful Villa

We had a fantastic holiday staying in Villa Sol Jardin. The villa was spotless with everything you need for a great holiday. The shared pool is up the top of the hill with a shop and poolside bars. John was very quick to answer any questions we had. We did find it hard to get a taxi but Parra Bar across the road will call one for you while you have a drink and wait.

Relaxing

28 days of relaxation, villa is in a quiet area & fairly private in the garden. Didn’t use the communal pool, it looked clean, preferred to go to the local beaches and used the chairs and umbrellas plus the cool boxes that were at the villa. Ideal situation for the Tuesday farmers market & Sunday flea market. 20mins walk to the Balcon but longer back as it’s all uphill, good excuse to sample the local bars en route. Owner was very quick to respond to my questions before we went.

Great villa

Lovely villa, very clean and modern. Communal pool is brilliant, my kids (10,12. & 15) loved it and the poolside snack bar is amazing. Garden and the villa was a welcome rest from beach and pool. Had problem with air con in one room but was dealt with swiftly and easily. Would consider this villa again

Winter get away

The villa was like home from home and spotlessly clean. It was also fully equipped with everything you would need. It was nice not to have to scrub saucepans as I do 80% of the time we rent a villa. The BBQ was also clean which is very unusual!! It was lovely having the 2nd television room because at night my husband would retreat there and enjoy his sports while our daughter and I would watch what we liked on the living room television. The garden was perfect for our 19 month old grandson because it was grass, totally closed in and safe for him to play and run around. I highly recommend this villa and look forward to returning in the future.

Winter get away

Lovely clean and presented villa with more than adequate utensils for a self catering stay. Area well looked after and clean. Need to reasonably fit as situated up a hill. Car necessary if not. We really enjoyed the walks up and down though. Lovely sunny terrace great for alfresco dining.

Villa wasn't ready when we arrived. We were delayed from airport and still had to wait another 2 hours for cleaners to finish. We had communicated with owner saying what our arrival time would be.other than that....excellent😊

Fantastic place to stay

Home from a lovely relaxing holiday, beautiful villa in a wonderful location with outdoor space. Everything you need for your holiday, great pool area and much more. So easy to reach the town by foot or bus Nerja centre is great to explore with lovely places to eat and drink. Would definitely recommend and return.

Neat, tidy, comfortable.

Well appointed with reasonable local amenities. The nearby restaurant in particular is very good. The pools (one for adults and one for infants) are geared up for families. We liked the layout of the villa but would definitely recommend car rental to get about. I would happily recommend this villa.

Beautiful villa, relaxing retreat, great location

The villa comfortably hosted our group of 8 friends. Everything was provided (even beach towels, beach loungers, bbq) which meant we had an effortless and relaxing stay. Our favourite night at the villa made use of the excellent outdoor bbq, and we spent our holiday visiting the nearby beaches, caves, restaurants and the communal pool. A detailed folder provided by the hosts was filled with useful recommendations. We have come home with so many great memories and will definitely visit again!!!!

Great villa for a great holiday

Villa located in a quiet part of town in a secure residential area - very peaceful with great views if Nerja town. A Large communal pool within walking (uphill) distance where resteraunts and bars are located (and a small convenience store). Another popular resteraunt is located even closer, next to the bus stop that will take you to the local beach and the heart of town, where you can take the land train to the much recommended caves nearby. Can also recommend Bar Nena (300m downhill) where the locals go to unwind and where the brilliant tapas materialise ever 10 minutes - great for trying to get to feel the real Spain and learn the language. The Tuesday market and Sunday flea markets are also within a short walk away. The villa was perfect for us and as described with everything catered for, making our stay a real home from home feel. Rooms were large, clean and all had air- conditioning!! The veranda was great for night-time drinks and card games. Everyone enjoyed the facilities and the local attractions - age range 13 to 82 yrs old. Can totally recommend this villa and many thanks to John and Lesley for making the villa availble to us and for making the administration so easy and seamless.

Just back from a lovely relaxing 10 day break at Villa Sol Jardin. Great villa in a super location. The terrace and garden have a wonderful sunny aspect. San Juan de Capistrano is perfect. Great pool area. Restaurant and shops close by. Really well maintained and spotlessly clean. Nerja is beautiful. The property manager for the villa, Dimitry, was very helpful and easy to deal with. All in all, a hassle free rental from booking to departure. We would definitely return.

Excellent Villa in San Juan

Stayed here with several family members for 10 nights in October 2014 - a very spacious villa with everything you could possibly require, including a fabulous terrace and great sized garden. This is our fourth holiday on San Juan and the location of the villa is ideal for the the shop, pool and bars as well as the bus-stop into town. We hope to be back in the not to distant future. Fantastic accomodation and excellent service

A group of us recently spent a week at the villa and had a fantatsic holiday. The villa was spacious, clean and had everything required for a relaxing holiday. Terrace and garden fabulous. We found the service received from the owners great, with lots of advice and information provided when requested.The resort of Nerja is beautiful with plenty bars and lovely restraunts. Would definitely recommend this for a relaxing holiday.

Lovely villa

This was a very nice villa, made better by the glorious weather we enjoyed in February. The standard of the accommodation is very good and the villa had everything we needed, although we never got around to using the sauna! The villa is very much as described. It was very clean and it is clearly a well looked after family property. Dealings with the owner was very easy. The local restaurants were great. Would really recommend
