Great Value for Money
This townhouse is great value for money – 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, open-plan living room/kitchen-diner and a plunge pool for less per night than the cheapest Disney hotel room! The Mickey Mouse theme throughout (and Harry Potter bedroom) was brilliant and definitely enhanced our Disney holiday. Overall cleanliness was great, the house was very comfortable and equipped with everything we needed and more! This was our first time staying off Disney property and we would definitely stay here again, although it is worth noting that the drive to Disney can vary from 30 minutes to over an hour at peak times.
As much as we enjoyed our stay, I do have some feedback:- The carpets on the stairs and in the bedrooms, although obviously clean, were heavily stained, the dark wooden bedroom furniture bore many obvious chips and scrapes and (only noticed on the day of checkout) the bedside drawers in the twin bedroom are missing a handle and don’t close properly. I appreciate that, as a rental property, these all get heavily used but I’ve not stayed in a rental that’s looked this worn before. Perhaps an update with more rental-friendly flooring and bedroom furniture is due? Also the deadbolt/chain on the front door was missing and there was no physical Welcome Book (just a notice to say it can be found on the Air B&B listing, not helpful when you’ve booked through Vrbo!). None of this detracted from our stay but would certainly have enhanced it.
