Family fun

The house was located directly on the water and had a flat yard so we didn’t have to worry with steps. My family had a wonderful time at this lake house.

Great getaway

The house was so well maintained, comfortable, great deck area! Dock was wonderful, water toys were available for kiddos and life jackets for anyone that might have needed one. Super friendly neighbors, quiet area, low boat traffic. Overall a wonderful way to spend a weekend!

Mini getaway

Very nice neighborhood, plenty of rooms and space. Beautiful view of lake in house and outside. Quite surrounding neighbor's, only issue was getting our tri-toon boat under very, very small bridge.

Great Location

This spot was a great place to meet, we came from the north and our family came from south of there. The house had a great layout w the two master suites being in either end of the living room/kitchen area. The deck was the perfect place to relax and view the lake and we had regular visits from a great heron and geese, and many birds and even turtles. Our home had what we needed except dish soap but maybe we should have known to bring our own. There is no dishwasher so that had us using what little was left there. The refrigerator was not cleaned for us when we arrived, I had to wipe it out. The grills did not work and there was a tiny little portable charcoal grill. The decor was lovely and throws to use in each room. The king size bed had no pillow cases, but thankfully we brought our pillows from home. Also that bed really needs to be replaced. Very worn out. But the master bath was very nice, especially the shower. A working lighter would have been nice, ones there were empty. We had our own thankfully. Really enjoyed the fire pit. We had to do a lot of cleaning off pollen on the deck furniture when we arrived. The microwave is ancient, but we were able to use it. The stove hood w vent range was in poor working order. The kitchen had plenty of glasses and dishes and cookware.Overall we really liked our visit and would return especially if some of these improvements were made.

Mini Lake vacation for the family

We were looking for a relaxing midweek lake stay while on a 2 week family road trip/college tour to recharge. This house was perfect for our family - lake front with a beautiful dock-boat house well equipped with water toys and 2 kayaks. Beautiful home with thoughtful touches - an abundance of fluffy beach towels, laundry pods with commercial Maytag washer ( big plus for us getting caught up during our road trip),coffee/sugars ready for the Keurig, USB charging stations all over the house, adorable lake themed throw blankets in all the rooms, tons of games/books/puzzles, and well equipped kitchen. Our favorite places were the huge covered porch overlooking the lake and the dock. Highly recommend and would love to stay again!

AMAZING House, View and Experience!

We absolutely loved staying here! The view was gorgeous, the house was clean and a great floor plan. We had 11 adults (5 of which were in their 20s and didn't mind bunk beds), and plenty of space. They provided bath and lake towels along with shampoo/conditioner/soap and hair dryer. They even have a tankless water heater. They had everything we needed for the kitchen. The back porch was fabulous, and we also enjoyed the firepit even though it was 97 in the daytime (bring wood and chairs). We were happily surprised by the amount of shade in the yard at different times of the day. The parking was plentiful. The blackstone grill was a big hit to our cooks' making hamburgers, hotdogs, corn, veggies and breakfast! There was plenty of storage for our food. The covered slip for our boat was a huge plus. The only downside is that you have to drive through a very narrow space to get out to the main lake and you have to lower a bimini top. That said, it also made that part of the lake less busy...even for the 4th of July weekend-which made up for the tight squeeze. The lake is not super deep right by the dock, so not as much diving off the dock. It would be good to bring water shoes because you can walk from the yard into the water which would be nice for little kids or non-swimmers. They have nice storage on the dock for any floats you bring.Food Lion, Pizza and the ABC Store (hard liqueur) are only 5 minutes away!***If we get the chance to come back...this is the house for us!
