About this property

This really is a stunning two bedroom (both en-suite) apartment set within the Waterfront at Cape Town. You can dine indoors or outdoors on the balcony which overlooks the canal. The granite surfaced kitchen has all mod-cons including washing machine, tumble drier, dish washer and iron/ironing board etc.

There is both a lift and stairs, and secure parking. The apartment has TV with Sky (DSTV), WiFi, Smart TV. We use the finest bed linen and each quality bathroom has both bath and large shower.
You will have access to two small swimming pools within the complex. Direct access to the One and Only Hotel.
The Waterfront is a secure area with 24 hour Security. You are given a pass on arrival for access. Just ten minutes stroll will take you to the myriad of restaurants and shops within the V & A.

The Ultimate Experience: If you visit South Africa, Cape Town will no doubt be on your agenda. Our apartment is set in one of the most exclusive areas of Cape Town and takes away all the worry about security as you are given a pass upon arrival which takes you to the secure grounds and apartment block.

Parking is right beside the apartment in a secure area and there is always a feeling of total peace and tranquillity when you are in the apartment.

Fantastic location: We are just two minutes from both major motorways and within easy access to all the attractions of the Western Cape. The Winelands are just a thirty minute drive away, where you can visit the delights of Stellenbosch, Paarl and Franschhoek.

Perfect in every way

Outstanding property in the super safe and convenient Waterfront development.Close to shops, bars, restaurants.Secure, gated, safe, quiet.The property has a large lounge, two large double bedrooms, a kitchen with washer/drier etc.Large and sun facing balcony. Dedicated underground parking.Clean, comfortable, good AC. Perfect.We’re have stayed in many properties in the area, including Lawhill - this was the best, and we will absolutely return.

Best Place to stay in Cape Town

Excellent apartment. Easy walk to the V&A waterfront. Checkin process was so easy as was checkout, they will look after your luggage if you have a late flight. We’ll be back ❤️

We had a great stay in this apartment. It was close to all the amenities of the waterfront, very safe to move about especially at night. The apartment had everything we needed snd would recommend anybody to stay here

Lovely apartment overlooking canal. 5 minute’s walking distance to shops, restaurants and bars. Bring a torch because South Africa are saving electricity by having up to 3 daily power cuts lasting 2 hours. Power cuts were mainly at night.

Lovely apartment in great location

Lovely apartment with all required amenities, great location & security. Communication with the owner was brilliant. Any issues that did crop up were quickly dealt with by the management team who are easy to reach by the phone in the apartment, (low water pressure one day for the block not just the apt for example). Can arrange for daily cleaning with them too and any required maintenance. Fantastic balcony with loungers and large table and chairs, parking spaces are on the same level as the apartment which is a bonus. The maid / cleaning service could be better which we mentioned to the owner who will resolve with management, day to day cleaning was great but apartment could do with a once over deep clean to dust wooden blinds, steam carpet, wash balcony etc. All in all a perfect apartment for price and location, will definitely book again for future visits to Cape Town!

Great apartment, very spacious and clean. Couldn’t be in a better and more secure place for the waterfront. Fabulous, clean, safe apartment in great location

The apartment was very clean and had everything you could possibly need including air conditioning throughout, all kitchen appliances and crockery also tea, coffee sugar provided. Towels, hairdryer and toiletries in the bathrooms. plus a digital safe in one of the bedrooms. Plenty big enough for 2 adult couples with bedrooms and en suites at opposite sides of the living area which created plenty of privacy. Lovely big balcony with canal view to sit out for meals or a glass of wine. Easy to check in and out using the office on site and very safe entrances and exits to the Marina (3 places) via swipe card with 24 hour security. Car parking provided free. Excellent location 5 minute walk into the waterfront. We downloaded the Uber app which was reliable and very cheap to use. The owner is easily reachable and helpful with good correspondence from booking to checking in and out. Would highly recommend, we will be back again. Note: make sure you close windows at night as there are mosquitos, we didnt realise the maid had left ours open to air the room during the second week because the blinds were covering them and we got lots of bites during the night which we didnt get at any other time. ( our own faults for not checking the windows just thought the air con was working well!!)

Review

Finding the property managers office in the evening proved challenging but once there the reception was prompt efficient and friendly. We were then driven around to the apartment and found it in immaculate order. Security was very good and the property is only a 15 minute walk to the V&A waterfront which is a very vibrant hub within CapeTown. All in all very pleased with the accommodation and it’s location. Thank you!!

Great location; good value

Overlooking the Canal, with a view through to The Wheel. Ideal place to locate for your stay in cape Town. Everything is accessible - shops, foods, entertainment. Parking is super - right by the back door. Great place to stay.

Luxury at an affordable price. Loved our stay.

Ideal location with only a short walk to V&A Waterfront. Safe gated community with reception for help and advice. Owner communication good and helpful. Had trouble finding reception but all went smoothly once located. Air conditioning was most welcomed and the balcony is a sun trap and lovely to sit on. Loads of restaurants near by in V&A. Local shop for provisions is in centre of V&A at 'Pick and Pay'. Stay here, you will love it as we did :-)

Even better than expected

WONDERFUL

We were lucky enough to stay at this lovely apartment in the centre of Cape Town for 8 nights in January and a further 4 nights in February during our holiday in South Africa. It is an excellent property in a perfect location within walking distance of everything in the V & A Waterfront and the surrounding area and a short walk to catch the "Red Bus" should you wish to visit all the other attractions Cape Town has to offer so a car is not necessary. The apartment is very spacious and has everything needed, we loved the small pool right in front of the block for cooling off and felt very safe and secure throughout our stay. We had a hire car during our second visit, there are 2 car parking spaces just by the entrance to the apartment on the same level (a bonus if you do not travel light)!!! The staff in the reception were very helpful showing us around and everything we needed to know. Trish and Steve were staying near us when we had moved on to the Cape Winelands and we enjoyed a wonderful long Sunday lunch at a local restaurant on Valentines day with them and other friends. Perfect V&A Apartment

We stayed at Ellesmere 202 December 2-6. We arrived in Cape Town early morning and Trish invited us to come by the apartment to drop off our luggage and shower before the afternoon check in time. After an 11 hour flight, this was very much appreciated. She and her husband were kind enough to show us everything. The apartment was perfect for our stay. It was equipped with everything we needed. Because there was only two of us in this two bedroom, two bath apartment, my husband and I didn't have to share a bathroom. That's priceless. The apartment is within walking distance to everything at the V&A waterfront, I would not hesitate to stay here on my next visit to Cape Town. This is absolutely a first class property. Back again!

Last month, my husband and I enjoyed our THIRD stay in this wonderful apartment. I can add nothing that hasn't been said already in all the great reviews. Our son and his girlfriend were with us and the spacious apartment can easily accommodate four adults without feeling cramped. Unfortunately, we could only stay for three days on this occasion, as our time was limited, but we very much hope to return yet again!

Home from Home Comfort

This lovely apartment exceeded our expectations and our only complaint is that our 5-day stay there was not long enough! We had a full schedule and it would have been nice to have more chill-out time - sitting on the balcony in the sun, sipping a drink and watching life drift by on the water below. The accommodation is well-equipped with washing machine, tumble drier, dishwasher and much more. All the comforts of home, in fact. The beds were very comfortable and the linen and towels of a good quality. The daily maid service was an unexpected treat. The apartment is also well located; an easy stroll along to the V&A Waterfront with all its shops and restaurants. The staff on the security gates were very friendly and helpful. I don't think it is necessary to hire a car in Cape Town. The Red and Blue bus tours operate a get-on/get-off service so passengers can easily reach the many tourist attractions. We used PG Tops for our airport transfers - a small highly professional company with the personal touch and a wealth of local knowledge. We were so impressed with them that we booked two private one-day tours - to Cape Point and the other to the Winelands and visiting a cheetah sanctuary en route. Great location

This apartment is in such a good location. Easy walk to the V&A Waterfront and into the city. The apartment has all the amentities you need and was very comfortable. Includes a washing machine and dryer. The bathrooms were huge and included nice toiletries. The secure parking was right next to the apartment on the same floor which was handy. We used the pool just out front and was just the right size for a quick dip to cool off. The reception staff were extremely helpful and stayed back late to wait for us to check in, they then personally showed us around the apartment. All the staff on site were very friendly and helpful.
