Brilliantly located for Metro. Staff incredibly friendly and helpful. Rooms basic but clean and comfortable, kitchenette well equipped. Local area has everything you need. Perfect location for Citie de la Musique. Would highly recommend for a budget stay!

Decent, basic, some flaws

Lovely staff and check in experience. General area smells like sewage, so keeping windows open let in smells. Keeping windows shut was quite hot and stuffy. Bathroom was tiny, towels had stains, but everything was otherwise clean and fresh. For the price, it was decent. Would consider staying again, for the right price.

low budget but good location for the metro

If you just need somewhere to sleep for the night this was ok. There were a few nice bars and restaurants near by and it was directly by a metro station which was convenient. overall if you're on a budget it will do for the night.

We stayed in a double apart for a week with my husband and 1-year-old son. Overall everything was great. The staff was nice and can speak English. They gave a clean baby crip for my son. Our apart has a balcony in which there are table and chairs. They cleaned our room in 3 or 4 days period. When I asked for cleaning for everyday, they said I have to pay for it. But they gave everytime when I asked for clean towels without any charge. Location is good, with using 2 different metro lines you can reach to turistic sites. But I should say that there is no lift within metro entrance etc for baby cars. So we have to take bus more than metro. There is a bus line 75 which is going to turistic areas. It is taken off from Porte de Pantin which is in 10 minutes walking.

Wouldn't stay again and would not recommend

I wasn't expecting a luxe experience and was very aware of what I was booking, but expected it at least to be clean. Not the case, the upkeep of this hotel is terrible. Our toilet lid was broken and came off completely, the shower tiles had mould on them - these are simple things that maintenance and cleaning staff should take care of. The staff was nice enough, although the guy who did our check in seemed to be high and didn't even ask to see our IDs once he saw the room was paid for, which I didn't feel very safe about. The room only had 1 key and they said they could not give us another. I found this terrible considering our room had 2 single beds which makes it very clear we are not a couple and may not want to do all our activities together! They said we could leave the key at reception instead, but considering they're not IDing their guests, this didn't seem like the most safe idea...

It was very disappointing, smelly entrance very disgusting like drain smell inside before reception. I booked and paid for 2 rooms and they told me it was 1 room and had to wait to get this resolved. After checking in we went out and came late to find that no hot water in one room, the other room hob not working. We paid for their parking and we could not get out, door blocked, had to climb stairs to call receptionist to come and fix it. Not to mention we had a baby with us with no hot water.

We have stayed here on a few occasions due to locality. Previously service and apartments very good. This time receptionist on our arrival spoke no English and did not appear interested in any attempt by my husband or myself to communicate with our broken French. The toilet bowl was cracked, the window blind broken, the room had dust in corners. Only one towel and trying to commumicate was impossible due to language barrier. He did offer to speak to us in Spanish!! Apparently there was no one else we could talk to, considering it's a tourist area, poor service really. Not sure we will use them again
