Location was good for transport links and convenience shopping. Public areas were good and staff welcoming and helpful. However, this was offset by the standard of the room and access hallways. Room (advertised for up to 4) was too small for 3 persons.Main bed in airless, windowless cupboard. No room to move around with bed-settee opened. Inadequate storage for luggage and clothing. Decor was scruffy. Paintwork stained and scratched. Air-con was inadequate and bathroom/kitchen ventilators did not work. Had to request a supplementary fan. Kitchen short of crockery and utensils. Shower leaked onto floor. Bathroom always damp, mould around bath, side-panel and adjacent floor covering were rotting.Toilet seat loose. Hallway carpets dirty.Bar/ restaurant seemed reasonable, but the only night we needed to use it (Sunday) it was closed!! Poor value for 1000euro/week.

There were no windows opening to fresh air just internal to centre of atrium and so a very stuffy stale air ingulfed the whole building which wasn’t pleasant.

ok but too hot

everything about this place was good other than the temperature of the room. it was like sleeping in an oven and the air con system didn't switch on and I even had the window open. this only opened into the internal quad so no fresh air

Nice hotel

Great hotel location. 5 mins walk to shopping centre and tram to city. Room was nice but small. No English tv channels. No bar in evening as described.

Badly maintained, badly cleaned, noisy

Rooms got very hot even though outside was cool. Air conditioning did nothing to help. Room was badly maintained with battered plaster on walls and peeling chipboard in bathroom and kitchen area. Place was mostly empty but were still asked to wait to 3pm to check in when we arrived a couple of hours early. Woke up one morning to find beer spilled in lift, was still not cleaned the next day

Can't fault the hotel it's cleanliness or the very helpful staff. The major problem was the sound of the trams that vibrated the whole room until late and then started up again early morning. That and very lumpy but unsupportive pillows we didn't get any sleep

Budget hotel

I booked for 1 night. The hotel is a budget hotel all the same the in room facilities are good for what you pay for. Travelling all over the world spending upto 300 nights away I’m quite qualified to know that it’s important to get a good nights sleep: where this hotel fails is it’s too stuffy and it was hard to obtain a good temperature to sleep comfotably

Okay hotel. Not anything fancy but gets you through the night. Friendly staff, even though the place itself is not luxurious.

Needs a refurbishment

Chosen for proximity to the railway station Pictures looked ok, but hotel was disappointing. Rooms are ok (but not more), low quality furniture, corridors in need of a paint and new carpets, lighting is off and only switches on after walking in darkness for 5 seconds.

Incredibly average.

No milk/ sugar in the room and had to argue with reception to get a "free" cup in the restaurant. Bar staff quite rude. Shower very difficult to work (seized) and the pressure pathetic.

Adequate for a one night stay

It was a halfway stop over for a journey from the south to Paris. The condition of the room (2 bed apartment) was not great, looked better in photos, could have been cleaned better, found hair on the bed sheets, everything felt sticky. Dimly lit and poor a/c, it was hot and humid on the top floor. The highlight of the hotel was the jacuzzi pool & sauna in the basement.

Average hotel.

Hotel was very average and don't think it deserves the 4 stars. Have to pay extra for wifi and daily cleaning. Better than a lot of trip advisor reviews but was ok for a short break.

Location is good. Hotel building is excellent looking. Greeting is as well as they can. Jacuzzi is surprisingly large. But It should and is on the way to be refurbished!
