Stayed for two nights Reception staff are super friendly suite was very well appointed and clean, plenty of room for parking. The pool was clean as was the surrounding area, however it does adjoin the main road so not very relaxing. Plenty of facilities at the property ie Laundry, Vending Machine and Ice Machine. Breakfast was continental all fresh. A great stay.

Great stay all round!

Friendly staff, great room. We didn’t get to use the kitchen area but has everything you would need to make a nice home cooked meal. Location is great, you are on the beach in under 10 minutes.

Expensive motel

Unfortunately when booking the hotel the price sometimes suggests a level of accommodation so you take a chance. We had been to other hotels on this trip and this one was well below par. The rooms were very tired and the utilities were poor. The breakfast was included which to be fair was fine and the pool was kept in excellent condition. Overall the hotel was far to expensive compared to others.

Drab and Dull

First impression was " drab and dreary " on entering the living area , the lightning was very dull, one lamp should have had two bulbs but only one present. Colour scheme needs to be updated " dirty yellow and brown " did nothing to make you feel you were in a beach area. Crockery was enough for four people and again "Brown" in colour, cutlery for three people none of which were of the same size. Kitchen work top had a burn on the top and the floor tiles were not clean. Bedroom carpet desperately needs cleaning.. if you walked barefoot your feet were filthy!! Had to request an ironing board and also maid service as our room hadn't been done for two days. The only Ice machine on the premises broke down so we had to buy ice from the supermarket. The breakfast isn't really worth the bother... biscuits and sausage gravy everyday.. the only good thing for this hotel is the location.. very close to Siesta Key Beach, and that is what we came for.. Rooms really need an upgrade and more attention to detail would make such a difference.. would only stay here again if this was done!!

A GREAT LOCATION, WITHIN EASY REACH OF SIESTA KEY. A FABULOUS BEACH AND FRIENDLY PEOPLE, THERE ARE PLACES TO PARK FREE OF CHARGE BUT YOU HAVE TO GET THERE EARLY. WOULD DEFINITELY RETURN, THERE ARE NO RESORT FEES AT THE HIBISCUS SUITES, STAFF ARE FRIENDLY AND VERY ACCOMODATING.

Stickney Point Road

The accommodation stated "Fully Equipped Kitchen" definitely an over-statement. There were no baking/oven trays, no sharp knives to cut vegetables/fruit etc. However when we asked for the above the manager did go and purchase a baking tray. Our room was very comfortable once we asked to be moved from the ground floor to the above floor. In a very good location close to Siesta Beach and shops.

Comfortable, clean and well positioned.

Having arrived just before midnight we were pleased the check in procedure to be quick and easy. The suite we were given was spacious, clean and very welcoming. The Hibiscus Suites were in a great location, close to everything we wanted. Must say we encountered a couple of problems (door entry problem on our 2nd day and staff error during our first week) but these were dealt with quickly and efficiently and didn't spoil our enjoyment of the place. Thank you to Sandy, Denise, The Big Show, Rufus and all the staff (sorry didn't catch all names) for everything. Will certainly stay here again. Look forward to seeing you again, hopefully soon. Definitely recommend.

Good price motel, small kitchen area with basics. Breakfast included, very simple but pleasant enough. If you are only using it as a base to sleep in you wont be disappointed.

I have stayed here 3 times and...

I cannot recommend it enough, great location, great rooms that have all the modern facilities and the staff are very helpful... 2 mins from beach and local shops. If you want a good price room with top price facilities this is for you :-) see you soon!!

Our stay at the Hibiscus Hotel Sarasota.

We required a room for a short stay and this hotel fitted the bill in every way, very conveniently located for access to all areas, quiet at night, very clean and well maintained. We have already recommended it to others and will continue to do so.

The hotels web site gives a very good overview of the amnesties and room descriptions. Only slight disappointment was the free breakfast, only bagels and doughnuts (no toast). Even though the hotel is on the main rood, stil vet quite. Rooms cleaned every day. Staff very helpfull.

Nice Hotel

Just returned from the Hibiscus suites, stayed 3 nights, nice hotel,very clean also nice pool. wouldn't recomend walking to the beach as it is along a main road Approx 1 mile and very hot.continenal breakfast was nice Bagels Danish pastries Tea/coffee and juice which you helped yourself to and took back to your room. in the short time we were there i couldn't really fault it.
