Basic budget accommodation with rude staff

Mer &golf perpignan is in a good loctaion it looks nice but the woman on reception was extremely rude when asking even the basic of things like how to get to the tourist office. Thw rooms are nice but i went to sleep amd woke up with bites. The breakfast was not good value atoll.

A comfortable stay

The apartments were nice and clean and functional. They had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was very comfortable and we both slept well. I had requested a room on a high floor to get away from the noise of the street but was only given the third floor which was disappointing but it was ok.

I stayed for 4 nights and the studio had everything you needed. The little kitchen was perfect and it was great to have the air conditionning The location was just amazing, just a few minute walk to the main shopping streets, it had a few small supermarkets around and was close to bus stops.

On the road to Spain

For the past 6 years I have always stayed at this aparthotel on my way to Spain. Chris and his staff are excellent. comfy beds and excellent rooms with superb aircon.

Excellent staff and accomodation. I was driving to Spain and stayed two nights on the way down. Enjoyed the stay so much i decided to stay three nights on the way back. I stay at this hotel every year on my journey to Spain (last 4 years)

It's ok - basic and quite clean. PROS - Very central (2 mins walk to Castillet). Close to lots of bars & restaurants. Tiny reception area and small breakfast room.(Extra charge).Underground parking next door.(Chargeable). Lift in hotel CONS - Basically a high rise apartment block. Our room (Business Studio) was very small & basic with a double bed & not much room for anything else . Small separate bathroom (shower ,sink & WC). Beds made up daily but not a great deal in the way of cleaning. Car park is very tight and at 12 Euros per day one of the most expensive in town.

Good location but with some downsides...

PROS - Good location, 5-10 minutes walk from the old town, 10 minutes walk from the train station, 2 minutes from the bus stop to and from airport. - Self catering gives you the option to cook or get day trip lunches together if you want. - Our room had a decent balcony view over the town. - Buzzy area with bars full on most nights even though we were there during the week. - Friendly and helpful staff. CONS - Sadly the room and bed had fleas. - Expedia booking doesn't include room cleaning, which in a self catering after a few days isn't so great. - New, clean towels cost 5 Euro, shower is powerful but tends to leak into the bathroom so extra towels are helpful.

Excellent rooms, but no 24hr reception

Exception rooms and bathrooms are great as well. Although there was no extractor fan in the bathroom. Note that if you checkin after the reception closes, there is a 70EUR charge. About an 18min walk from the train station

Clean and functional apartment-hotel with kitchen and balcony. Everything worked well, kitchen had all utensils and pans, the room was quiet, the balcony (and balcony windows) made it feel bright and spacious. Close to city center. Staff were friendly. There is an on-site laundry (although it is a bit expensive: 7 euros for a wash), reception area nothing special if you want to lounge in a hotel lobby, but these very minor drawbacks. Overall very good and convenient, I would stay again.
