For the price and convenience of location this is a brilliant stay in Biarritz. We travelled as a family of four for surfing. Cote des basque main surf beach is across the road and down the promenade, 5 minutes in the opposite direction you are in the town centre with supermarket, bakery, market, restaurants and shops. Follow the road along the coast for a beautiful walk through old town beach, many sights and to the port/town. The heated swimming pool was great and there are laundry, table tennis in the basement. Bar was not open when we stayed but would have been useful for the odd drink. Baggage store and very friendly and helpful reception staff adds to the welcome vibe of the hotel. The building itself and rooms are dated (think this is normal for this style hotel in France) but everywhere was very clean, beds comfortable and kitchenette well equipped for breakfasts and light lunch at the room. Room also had a balcony, sea view and clothes rack to hang the wetsuits to dry - perfect! Thanks to all for a fabulous stay :-)

Self-catering holiday in the south of France. Very friendly appart-hotel in easy walking distance of shops and restaurants and beaches. September trip and weather was good (couple of rainy days, but warm). Hotel slightly tired looking, but clean, with wonderful views. Very friendly staff. Nice pool. 2 quick lifts, so easy access to accomodation. Won't hesitate to return if we are able

Fantastic view from our flat and balcony 2nd floor onto the City and the Grande Plage with the emblematic lighthouse of Biarritz. We spent 5 fantastic days, and strongly recommend this hotel for the best couple / romantic / scenic / adventurous / tasteful experience of Biarritz. Not to mention the highly skilled and friendly staff of the hotel, good job to you all. We will come back again and again. Thanks.

Great stay

The hotel is very pleasant and offers great location close to the beach and to the shops, restaurants and town centre which are 5-10 minutes walk. It has heated pool outside, althouth the puddling pool for kids was closed. The hotel is clean and we enjoyed breakfast in the morning, which is offered for additional charge. The view from the window and the balcony overlooking the ocean was also one of the highlights. Thank you to all the staff in the hotel. We had a great time.

Really helpful staff, we loved the pool and the location! Although the apartments were basic they were clean and well equipped! Nice touch having ice made in the freezer! Appreciated the fan as no air con and the clothes rack to dry out swimwear on was handy! Only one lift working so a bit of a wait at times and we did hear a lot of noise from the family above which was a little annoying!

Amazing place and great location!

A cracking property! We loved the location; close to Les Halles (food market), the petit plage, shops, restaurants, all within 5/10 mins walk. We also loved having a kitchenette and a balcony overlooking the sea. The 17m pool (heated at end of May!) with sun loungers was also awesome!

Upon arrival - greeted with extremely friendly staff, and this continued throughout the stay. We came to surf, and found that this hotel was situated perfectly between both main beaches. We stayed in room 702 and had a beautiful view of the ocean. Loads to do in the area, for both the dry and odd wet day that we experienced! Definitely looking forward to coming back to Biarritz, but more importantly to Le Grand Large 🏄‍♂️🏄‍♀️

Apartment very well situated with a nice view of the sea. But a higher floor would have been better as building opposite blocked the view somewhat. Very pleasant lady on reception. But the apartment itself very tired looking. However the lady at reception said they would be refurbishing the building at the end of the year, which it really needs. They have a good garage with direct access to the lift from garage B but garage A not so good as there are 2 flights of stairs to access the lifts.. also has a good sized swimming pool. .

L’hôtel est idéalement situé au centre de Biarritz et proche de la côte des basques. L’appartement studio que nous avions avait ce dont nous avions besoin et la vue sur la mer de la terrasse était superbe. L’accueil à la réception était en revanche plutôt froid et pas très aimable et le sol de la chambre n’avait pas été nettoyé lors de notre check in, ceci a été rapidement corrigé lorsque nous leur avons signalé.
