This place was a real find. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the rooms great. We had a one bedroom apartment which was very spacious and clean. It’s away from the busy areas of town, but very convenient for Statue of Liberty, World Trade Centre and Brooklyn Bridge. The ability to cook and eat in the apartment was also great.

In a great place at the end of Wall Street, easy to get to all the sights on the subway but far enough from the busy centre of the city which is a bit overwhelming. There some lovely restaurants close by on the Piers and close enough to walk over Brooklyn bridge. Ferry to and from Brooklyn ver close. Staff very helpful and pleasant

We loved our stay at Placemakr, Wall St.The studio apartment was a great option for us as a family of three. The alcove bed was a cosy option for our teenage daughter. The studio and communal areas had a fresh feel and some great design details. The lobby staff were friendly and helpful (by email before we arrived and in person). We also enjoyed the area, being so close to the East river, Seaport and Brooklyn Bridge. Being so close to the subway was handy as well. Very happy customers : )

Great family space

We had an amazing time in New ayork and the placemakr was an ideal place to explore the city from. Its in the financial district bur close to the river, brooklyn bridge, 9/11,.battery park etc. It has a warehouse industrial feel..we stayed in a 1 bedroom sky which had 1 bedroom, kitchenette and sitting area and separate area with bunk beds and then 2 bathrooms and plenty of space. Hotel also had a games room in the large laundry room, plus 2 extra kitchens with fuller facilities plus an outside terrace. Staff were really friendly. Only down side was duvets were light and we could have done with blanket or thicker duvet.

The property is very well located and is 5 min away from 2 major touristic attractions (Wall Street and 9/11 museum). Staff was really friendly and tried to be as helpful as possible. I have to say, however, that I came with an idea that it was more like a part hote rather than a full hotel, but I think the room servicing could have been a bit better. I had to ask 3 times for the room to be cleaned and only had it cleaned on my last day which didn't help. Also, I didn't know that you had to ask for the cleaning, as well as any additional coffee, tea and towels to be replenished. So remember to ask on your way out on the morning to have these serviced, as requests have to come in early to be attended.

This apartment type accommodation was great. Good location, round corner to 9/11 memorial. Great access to metro, lovely diner next door, with lush cocktails and friendly staff. We had a fabulous stay in NYC 😊
