Must place stay in Ballard

Where do I start. This is one of the best places I have stayed in Seattle (I travel for work). Amenities were excellent. Communication from booking to arrival was awesome. Comfy bed, quiet neighbourhood made suck the difference for a jet lagged traveller. Grey facilities and plenty of space meant this for the perfect place for a 3 days stay. Also the easy access to the Breweries of Ballard was a major thing for me. Vince and family have done a terrific job

Great stay, would definitely recommend

The studio room was perfect for what I needed - it was very clean and comfortable and I enjoyed my stay. Communication from Vince was great and he answered all my questions very quickly - loads of info was sent over before my arrival too so there was no stress. I'd definitely stay again! The only thing I would say is it wasn't the most soundproofed but they provided ear plugs :) it didn't affect my stay but was just something I noticed.

My only issues were the hard bed and no curtains. The shades are fine, but they still let in a lot of light at night. Other wise, it was a nice place.

Loss of power?

Overall our stay was good, the property served it purpose. My only complaint was that the power to our room was cut off when we woke up, which was weird since the rest of the house had power! Which made getting ready in the morning slightly inconvenient, but we were leaving anyway, so I didn’t reach out.

Nice room, very clean. Communications were great. There was a little noise between rooms, especially the upper floor, not a big deal. It was a great place to stay and this will be my go to place when I visit my family.

Very small and basic but all you need for a place to sleep/rest. The downside is the walls are paper thin and noises, walking, tv etc is constant. If you’re a light sleeper, may not be for you, otherwise a great cheap stay

Overall, this property is well kept and a good place to stay. The only down-side is the 10am check-out time. If you're planning on a late night out in Seattle, you might consider a place with a later check-out time.

Everything was super officious if a bit sterile. Very much a short stay situation rather than a hotel though. But parking was an absolute nightmare every night when we got back. I'm talking 3-5 block walk every every night and morning. Not exactly the fault of the landlord but be wary if you're arriving with a car.

The property is very charming and cozy, and it's located right across from a high school. There aren't many parking spots during the day, but there are plenty in the evening. While I was there, the power went out around 2 or 3 AM after I used the stove in my room. I texted the property owner, not expecting them to answer so late, but I was happy when they replied quickly. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely think about coming back again!

I had a great stay. Everything was very smooth and directions were very clear. Many great spots on Market street which was a nice walk and I was able to head into downtown for the main attractions by taking the D line right where I needed to go.

It was more than a bit confusing having to another website to pay the cleaning fee. The email that directed us to this external website said clearing to not give a credit card number to any outside websites.

This is my second stay at this property. The first time was a year and a half ago. I decided to return because I had a favorable experience. This visit, however, the outside around the building as well as items in my room need attention. Chipped pain around the base boards. Shelves to serve purpose of end table unstable ( I refrained from placing anything on one because I was afraid it would fall off the wall), large piece on end of 'table' broken off. When I arrived, I was able to enter front door using the assigned code. However, it took 30 minutes and several text messages to get into my sleeping room. On the positive side, the bathroom was clean and I appreciated a nice hot shower. My recent experience left me disappointed. I don't plan to return.

The room was clean. The check in was odd because I needed a code to enter but didn’t have it so called a number and was transferred to someone in Arizona who told me I had to pay a deposit which I did then the owner sent me a code. I had to ask for the WiFi and then he sent me a link to a brochure that had the information which seemed rather after the fact. The other odd thing was there was no chair so I had to sit in the bed . Location was okay. I used to live in that neighborhood. But it’s directly across from a high school so traffic was difficult when kids were coming and going.
