We had a small issue with the cleanliness of the bathroom, but the staff instantly rectified this and offered a complimentary housekeeping halfway through our stay as well as instantly changing the issue. The facilities were great, we loved the pool and the jacuzzi, took advantage almost everyday. The club upstairs was also very convenient for any night we wanted to stay local. Our room was perfect for what we needed for this trip, with easy access to more towels or essentials at any time. Definitely would stay in a Sonder location again.

Great apartment for a family stay. Stylish and very well equipped We were on the first floor but road noise not too bad Pool area was lovely, and great location for beach, dining or shopping. All booking is via website and room is entered via app on phone or key code. Only thing missing for us was laundry facilities or a laundry service which would have made it perfect!

No room cleaning included in the room rather. They say this is to keep the room rates low, which they are not. You can book a room clean for 40 USD but have to give 2 days notice. During my stay, the room next door had a loud party and were smoking weed. The smell and noise were awful.

Loved our 3 night stay at the Beacon. Receptionists were friendly and helpful, excellent and peaceful swimming pool area and don’t miss the Coco Club bar on the top floor - great fun and amazing views over Santa Monica. Good parking (pay) next to hotel

This is a great place to stay. I was a bit nervous after reading some reviews but I found it be fantastic. Very clean, perfect location, I loved the art deco features. Lots of outdoor space to sit or have a dip in the pool

Property was in a good location and clean however the safe in our room was broken and we had to use one down in the basement to store our valuables every time we went out. Also an alarm in the building was going off all night and morning which made it hard to sleep.

Hotel close to the Santa Monica Pier

We spent a couple of nights here as part of a longer trip in California. The rooms were fantastic! Very clean. Comfortable beds. The view was amazing!! Very walkable and convenient. The staff was so friendly. We were pleasantly surprised to find a pool and hot tub. Target was a short walk to purchase swimsuits. We would definitely stay here again.

Excellent location near Santa Monica Pier. Room was great with exception of shower. Very large tub with low water pressure. Had to stand completely under shower head (against the side of the tub) to rinse.

The stay was disappointing from the start. When we arrived after 8 hour drive from San a Francisco , there was no one at the reception and check in counter, we waited for about 15-29 minutes but nobody showed up so the place was completely empty . After that we decided to go to our room and opened it with the code which was texted to me . Next morning when went to the lobby again there was no one there at all and we returned after a busy day in the evening , same thing nobody at the reception and the hotel personal was nowhere to be found . We went to our room and found that it wasn’t t cleaned at all, garbage wasn’t taken out , the coffee and coffee cups aren’t replaced, bed isn’t made up and towels weren’t replaced . It was clear that no cleaning people entered the room and it was mess. I got really angrier with this complete lock of service called the tall free number and spoke with someone and expressed my deepest disgust and disappointment with this horrible service . He tried to explain something to me obviously just reason prepared and trained wording which made me even angrier. Eventually someone showed up and demanded some new towels and coffee cups which were eventually brought to our room after so much aggrevation and frustration. I told them that I want my money back for this terrible stay and that I file a complaint against the hotel and put a very bad review which is what I am doing now. Can I get my money back or at least reimbursement for paid parking?
