Post pandemic getaway

Excellent location away from the madding crowds. Scary narrow lanes to start with but you get used to reversing. Tothery cottage is superb, well laid out and renovated to a very high spec and standard. The welcome pack had all the essentials and the Dorset coffee company medium roast is excellent. Found the local bakery as well. Cottage well suited as a base to get to the beaches and inland attractions. Bridget is warm and welcoming giving us a run down of the facilities and controls. Relaxing and enjoyable week away, first time to Dorset but it will not be the last. Thank you.

Our first break after lockdown

Our family of three thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Totheray cottage. It was a peaceful base in rural Dorset not too far from a local village and the coast with all mod cons, comfortable furniture and a super log burner. My daughter enjoyed visiting the ponies on-site and playing with the cat each afternoon. I’m sure in warmer weather (it was still very cool but very sunny in early April) we would have enjoyed walks, crochet on the lawn and sitting out at the property. The owners were very friendly and accommodating.

Tothery Cottage

Absolutely gorgeous! Beautiful quiet rural farm with lovingly renovated barn conversions. A delightful welcome hamper and fresh flowers on arrival. The children got to collect fresh eggs, and see the sheep and horses which they loved! Totally charming place.
