A little further is the bustling market town of Sheringham, home to the North Norfolk Steam Railway. Seeking all the fun of the fair and to explore the golden mile, head to Great Yarmouth, a very traditional seaside resort. Seeking historical and cultural delights, head to The Blickling Estate, Flebrigg Hall, the Thursford and Muckleburgh collections.
An award winning Norfolk gastropub nearby has been voted one of the best in the UK by a prestigious food guide, and is just a 5-minute drive away. The building dates back to the 18th century and is hidden in a 1,000 acre deer park. It also has a sister pub by the Gunton station which is even nearer.
