About this property
Barn at West Acres - sleeps 4 guests in 2 bedrooms
Situated on the edge of Winterborne Kingston, a popular village surrounded by stunning countryside, the Barn at West Acres is a bright, contemporary, and stylish single-storey holiday home, which has been beautifully prepared to provide comfortable accommodation for up to four guests. With tiled floors, an MVHR system and underfloor heating throughout, wide doors, an open-plan layout and bi-folding doors, the accommodation is ideal for couples, families, and guests with mobility limitations or allergies.
As you enter your holiday home through the front door, you arrive in the useful utility and cloakroom area. The two comfortable en-suite bedrooms sit off a small central hall, and you then step into the fantastic light-filled, open-plan day space, which includes a great kitchen with central island, a separate dining area and the stylish sitting room. The kitchen provides all the space, storage and equipment you will need when preparing and cooking tasty meals, and has an electric range cooker, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, Nespresso coffee machine, and walk-in pantry where you will also find the microwave. The dining area sits in front of bi-folding doors, affording great views of the garden and glimpses of the surrounding fields through the trees. The stylish sitting room with its comfortable seating and feature wood burning stove invites you to relax and unwind, and with a second set of bi-folding doors, you can really connect the day space to the outdoors and enjoy fabulous easy living, to make the most your stay.
There are numerous footpaths and great walks right from the front door, including easy access to the nearby section of the famous Jubilee Trail - a 90 mile trail that winds across Dorset from Forde Abbey on the Somerset border to Bokerley Dyke on the Hampshire border. With great opportunities for walking or cycling all around the village and beyond, and quaint villages aplenty within easy reach, the opportunities for days out and adventures are endless. Dorchester, Blandford, Wimborne, Wareham, the Isle of Purbeck, Weymouth Beach, Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove are all within easy reach, making the Barn at West Acres a great choice for your holiday base.
Additional Information:
Two well-behaved dogs welcome (additional charge).
Children and infants welcome (please provide your own travel cot, high chair and cot linen).
Off-road parking for two cars directly outside of the property on a private tarmac drive.
The mechanical ventilation/air recovery system (MVHR) results in the inside air being extracted through outlets, and fresh, filtered, warmed air blown in through the inlets - an important consideration for those with allergies/respiratory problems as pollen is filtered out.
All materials used in the construction of the property are free of VOCs, including zero-VOC paint.
Bedding is non-feather.
