A short stroll across the nearby footpath takes you into the village of Cartmel, where you can explore its quaint streets and independent stores, with artisan cafes, Michelin starred restaurants and the Cartmel Village shop the home of the famous Sticky Toffee Pudding. Holker Hall and Gardens, a stately early 17 th century home with beautifully maintained parklands and a café lies 2 miles away. The historic Cartmel racecourse is less than a mile from home, hosting horse racing and music events while the adjoining Cartmel Park enjoys numerous events throughout the year.  Venture 3 miles to the Edwardian seaside town of Grange-over-sands with a lovely promenade walk to fully experience the beauty of Morecambe Bay.  Further afield, Lake Windermere is 6 miles, where visitors can enjoy idyllic Lake cruises, water sports or hiking along the scenic Lakeside trails.
Park the car and cross the patio to the front door, where a boot room area welcomes you – perfect for leaving your muddy boots and hanging up your jackets after a day of exploring the fabulous scenery within this area. Beyond the entrance you will find a bright open-plan kitchen, living and dining area with full length windows to admire the private breath-taking views you are treated to.  Relax in style on the leather sofa, perfect for unwinding by the cosy flame-effect log burner, or open the balcony doors and sit out (or in) to admire the ever changing sky and watch the sunset. The stunning views with the racecourse and Priory in the distance are perfect for bird watchers and nature lovers to enjoy in peace. Stepping back into the lodge, the kitchen has been thoughtfully equipped, but with Cartmel nearby why not treat yourself to one of the many lovely eateries and enjoy some village atmosphere. Then wake up to the stunning views from your luxury super king bed (which can be split upon request) in the attractively decorated room with warm autumnal tones, open the patio doors straight onto the terrace to appreciate the lovely country air and take your time over your morning coffee.  The contemporary shower room features a spacious walk-in shower with WC and underfloor heating which completes the internal layout.
Outside, the lovely balcony offers an inviting space for al fresco dining shielded from any breeze by a clear glass balustrade perfect for soaking up the glorious views. With a lower private patio with outside furniture if you require a little shade. There is a private gated area for two cars, making your stay as convenient as it is memorable.
