Power & Energy Use (Off-Grid System)
The cabin runs on solar power with a battery backup. Please be mindful of energy consumption, especially during cloudy weather or extended stays.
Avoid using high-energy appliances at the same time (e.g., microwave, washer/dryer combo, and space heaters).
Turn off lights, fans, and any electronics when not in use.
Do not bring additional high-power devices, such as electric heaters, hairdryers, or other high-draw appliances.
Heating Systems
Pellet Stove:
Instructions will be provided in the welcome guide—please follow them carefully.
Do not leave the stove unattended while in use.
Keep flammable items and furniture at least 3 feet away from the stove.
Children must be supervised at all times around the pellet stove.
Propane Heaters:
Use propane heaters only as directed.
Never use propane heaters in closed rooms without ventilation.
Do not move or modify the heaters.
Water Use
The property uses a private well system. While water is clean and reliable, we ask guests to conserve water where possible.
Limit shower times and avoid leaving faucets running unnecessarily.
Trash & Cleanliness
Trash pickup days are Tuesdays and Fridays by 10 AM – please place bins at the street before pickup and return them afterward.
Do not leave food or trash outside—wild animals and cows may be attracted to it.
Wildlife & Surroundings
Be aware this is a remote location you may encounter snakes, lizards, scorpions, coyotes, cows, and other wildlife.
Keep all doors closed and food secured.
Please do not approach or feed wildlife under any circumstances.
Be cautious of tripping hazards and loose gravel on the property.
We are not liable for anyone who gets injured during your stay

We are originally from Utah, but have also lived in Sierra Vista, AZ area. We have invested into some properties to short term rent in Arizona to offer a place for people to stay while they're visiting the area. We enjoy helping people and look forward to hosting you and your guests :)
Why they chose this property
At this particular cabin, it is a remote area with little to no neighbors. So it is the place to book if you want to get away from the city life and have an off-grid experience. (It still has power, water and internet, but the idea is to have a more peaceful experience away from technology)
