Stylish 2 bedroom apartment located in Cactus on the award winning Vila Verde Resort.
Bright and airy modern open plan living area with corner sofa, double sofa and large dining table to seat 4 guests. Fully fitted kitchen with oven, hob, washing machine, microwave and fridge freezer & adapted tap for filtered drinkable water. There are two patio doors leading onto the terrace where you can dine Al fresco overlooking the pool.
Large master bedroom with rich african colours having a king size bed, large built in wardrobe, dark wood furniture and patio doors leading to the sun trap on the terrace. This room also has an ensuite bathroom including bath & shower.
Second bedroom has a fresh, light decor with a super king size bed or can be made with twin beds giving flexibility to sleeping options. Plenty of storage space with built in wardrobes, chest of drawers and patio leading to the sun terrace. This bedroom is serviced buy a further bathroom featuring a shower cubicle.

Outdoor rattan furniture comprises of dining table and chairs seating 4 guests on the terrace overlooking the pool.

Additional facilities include hairdryer, iron & ironing board, clothes airer, safe and towels and travel cot.

Great value for money, a fabulous stay

Had a fabulous time in Cape Verde. The apartment was clean and spacious with a great balcony - sparrows would come to hand feed crumbs every morning! Pool was great with small snack bar and areas of shade. Complex was great - one restaurant, one bar and a coffee shop. We ate in the restaurant 3 times - fantastic food each time. Walked to bikini beach a couple of times (about 15mins) - great sheltered cove for swimming and snorkeling, beautiful sands, relaxed vibe at the Bob Marley bar, even saw whales from the shore! You can also book excursions from here. We went to the lemon sharks - great experience. Free shuttle buses from the apartment complex to Santa Maria but taxis are only 4-5 euros. You can also walk (in daylight only) which we did a couple of times, takes about 25-30 mins. Lots of restaurants, gift shops etc in Santa Maria and the beach is busier but beautiful with rolling seas. Walk along the pier to see the locals preparing fish caught that morning. Lizzie - who met us at the property was a delight - welcoming, knowledgable and funny. Overall, great apartment with good amenities in a good location and outstanding value for money. We will be heading back to Cape Verde again, we loved the island, the sights, the food and the friendly people.

Fabulous

If you're looking for a relaxing stress free holiday, Sal is the place for you. Nikkis apartment is exactly what it says on the tin, close to the beaches and Santa Marie. Nikkis communication from day 1 was superb. Lizy was on hand if we needed anything (which we didnt) but thankful there was a go to person. The apartment is located in close proximity to the pool, its very clean, spacious and comfortable. There are free shuttle buses that take you to the beach and Santa Marie, equally taxis are in abundance. Vila Verde where the apartment is located is very peaceful, there's a supermarket on site. Santa Marie is within walking distance approx 20 mins and is definitely worth a visit or two. I would highly recommend this property and location. We had a fantastic time. Thank you Nikki.

Je pense que cette habitation est le meilleur choix pour ces commodités et sa tranquillité

Avant de procéder à la location, j'avais besoin de beaucoup d'informations et précision sur l'appartement afin de savoir si celui-ci pouvais accueillir une personne en fauteuil roulant. J' ai donc beaucoup échangé avec Nikki qui a eu à cœur de rechercher toutes les informations. Toutes ces réponses se sont révélées objectives et exactes. Si vous avez donc des interrogations n'hésitez pas à lui demander et soyez certain de l'exactitude de ces réponses. Notre arrivée à l'aéroport et les transferts aller comme retour ont été parfaitement organisés. L'accueil a été parfait. Tous les intervenants qui sont intervenus pour cette location, ont été très professionnels. Concernant l'habitation, il s'agit d'un bel appartement, moderne, très spacieux, bien entretenu et très bien équipées ( rangement et électroménager). Les prises sur les murs sont de type française allemande mais il y a plein d'adaptateurs à disposition pour les prises anglaises. L'appartement a deux balcons avec chacun des chaises longues. l'un est orientée plutôt au nord et le second est orientée plutôt au sud. Les pièces sont très grandes et les portes très large. Il y a 2 salle de bain, une plus petit avec une cabine de douche de plain-pied avec ouverture (petite) en angle et une seconde beaucoup plus grande avec une baignoire dont la paroi en verre est mobile. Cette dernière sera donc pratique pour le bain de bébé ( espace pour se mouvoir et pour pouvoir mettre une baignoire pour bébé) mais également il sera permis à une personne en fauteuil roulant de pouvoir s'y transférer (à condition d'emmener son banc de baignoire). L'appartement sera donc très pratique pour les personnes devant se déplacer en fauteuil roulant mais également les personnes âgées ayant besoin d'espace pour se mouvoir et enfin les familles avec un bébé. Si les escaliers où la rampe vous paraît trop difficile il faut savoir que le code d'accès de l'immeuble est le même dans tous les autres blocs "cactus". Il est donc possible d'emprunter un autre bloc et de rentrer dans l'appartement avec la rampe plus douce côté piscine. Avant mon départ, j'avais lu que dans certains appartements ou hôtel du cap vert, l'eau chaude pouvait être très réduite à cause du prix de l'électricité. Dans cette habitation vous n'avez pas de problème car il y a un chauffe-eau avec un petit cumulus qui chauffe en permanence. Pour Vila Verde, j'ai lu beaucoup de choses fausses ou pas d'actualitées. Amazing apartment!

Fantastic apartment in Vila Verde, good position within the complex. Apartment was very clean, had everything we could need & more! Lizy looked after us, gave us so much information & sorted internet for €15 for a week. Easy access to Santa Maria & Bikini Beach, we will definitely return!

Spacious and comfortable apartment with 2 balconies, one in the sunshine and one in the shade

We had a good stay in the appartment. The furniture was very good and we loved to have two balconies. The complex was big but the location of this appartement was convieniently close to the entrance were the taxi’s and the free hotel shuttle left. The second bedroom with the boxspring bed was comfortable. We missed WiFi in the appartment, but Lizzy the keyholder provided us with a good and not so expensive solution. As we arrived on a Sunday, Lizzy also bought a few groceries for us wich was very kind as the stores are closed on Sunday. We would definitely return when we want to visit Sal again.

We chose this property when it was in the planning stages and we are delighted with the end result of both the apartment and the resort. We love Santa Maria with its unique charm, amazing beach and local culture.

Looking for somewhere for winter sun was key and Ilha do Sal has plenty. With only 5 1/2 hrs flying time it's a perfect holiday destination all year round and who wouldn't want to take a holiday to an island where the motto is "no stress"
