Quiet setting, enjoy the views over the fairway and trees and watch the kangaroos graze, birds and kookaburras visit, pleasant walk or short drive to Lorne centre and to safe patrolled beaches, walk to boutiques, shops, cafes and beach, short walk to supermarket, play golf across the road. Check to see if the Golf club bar and bistro is open. It is just up the road and enjoy a drink, lunch or dinner at reasonable prices when open, while enjoying the magnificent panoramic and ocean views. The Golf club also has tennis courts (need to check if open). On the foreshore there is a big skate park and big new adventure playground for the kids, enjoy bush or beach walks, feed the kookaburras. May see whales in July and Aug around Lorne, check with Tourist Information Centre for sightings. Explore the Great Ocean Road and coast, the Otways, waterfalls, Teddy's lookout, go fishing, swimming and surfing, eat at excellent restaurants and cafes, short walk to the swing bridge where they have paddle boats or have breakfast or a cuppa at the Swingbridge cafe, party at the Lorne Hotel or go to the cinema for latest movies. Have a BBQ at the coin operated electric BBQs on the forshore. Lots to do!
