We really enjoyed our stay here. Garden was wonderful for the little one. Place was clean and well furnished.
The only note I’d make is that the pool table is a bit uneven but not a big deal for us.
Wendy was a fantastic host & this place is great value in my opinion.
Old world charm found in our stay at the Waterfront Gem. We spent hours just sitting in the back garden under the palm, watching the boats leaving and returning the marina next door, the sea-birds on the sandspit below the sea-wall hunting in the tidal pools. In the mornings you could lie in bed and watch the dawn warming the sky over Mt Manaia and the Whangarei heads. Yes, we loved it here.
Location was excellent, great for children, pool table and sea. No WiFi listed in details because there is none. The TV is listed, however there is no signal for any channel throughout periods of the day. The Oven is very dated, and seems to be a much lower temperature than set at. We didn’t do much cooking, but the baked potatoes took ages! The medial information lists the local medical centre as a useful resource, but we found them very unhelpful when needed, even with the offer of payment. Ended up having to drive to Whangārei where the White Cross centre was excellent. House generally needed updating, but overall we had a great stay, and only mention these few things because of the price charged.
Excellent safe area. Clean house.
Very minimalistic property. Heaps of room, beautiful views.
Could have to improve

great place to stay and can not beat the location. house is 70's styling but very comfortable. if staying bring some fold out chairs for the outside area as no outside furniture. i would not hesitate to stay again
