A charming bed and breakfast - a taste of country life.
Counting Sheep is a peaceful bed and breakfast located in the charming town of Binda. It offers a relaxing escape from city life for families and groups. Visitors can spend their days exploring nearby scenic towns, trying local produce and wines, and then unwind by the fireplace with views of the gardens and hills. The clear, unobstructed night sky can be savored around the fire pit, making it possible to see the Milky Way, as well as possibly some shooting stars and the space station passing by. We have sheep to feed and some friendly chickens who love a pat or a cuddle, we even have our own wombat who resides under the chicken shed.

We enjoyed a lovely relaxing weekend at Counting Sheep. It's a friendly, welcoming spot with all the modcons, lots of space and generous stock of breakfast provisions. The birdlife in the area is terrific and the night skies are amazing.
We had a wonderful stay at Counting Sheep Cottage! It was the perfect countryside escape, the cottage is spacious and as described, with all the kitchen amenities ready and a cozy fireplace to keep us warm at night. The kids had an amazing time running around and playing. Jo was an amazing host and had everything set up for us before we arrived. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful, spacious stay
We had a cosy and relaxed weekend at Counting Sheep. We loved the house setup, fireplace and peaceful rural setting. House is comfy with lots of country charm, and the hosts were generous and looked after us so well. We just wished we could have stayed a bit longer.
We like the style of the cottage. Kids had a fantastic time feeding the animals. Jo and Warren are super nice and helpful. The only thing to be aware is that there are still many mosquitoes inside, even though it’s cold outside. Check your room before sleeping.
