We stayed in one of the newer updated rooms Nest rooms, a reasonable sized room for being compact, well laid out and for a budget room it was excellent. Bathroom was very good too. Liked the design of the room.
Ideally located close to Whitechapel and Aldgate East station.
Clean and modern
Comfy bed
Breakfast included - very nice help yourself buffet
Basic but still had everything I needed during my stay
Very warm in communal area
Unable to get cold air, only hot
Location not nicest to walk around in, lots of people hanging around.
Comfortable for a budget hotel. Main issue for me is the noise from the road outside and sirens as it is close to a major hospital. Bring ear plugs if you're staying here!
Two ladies customer service were excellent. But 2 gentleman customer services were very poor.

Basic. Clean. No ventilation.
It’s a basic clean hotel with good access. The room is small and the shower and sink are in the room. The toilet has a with no lock or handle which is awkward is such a tight space. It also doesn’t have a vent and the only window is on the other side of the room. We’ve been to nicer Ibis Budget hotels, but it was sufficient for a 2 night stay. The breakfast was decent.
Totally over priced for the quality of the room felt like a prison cell. Hard cold environment. heating did not work. Horrible to come back to after a day of work.
Considering I was staying in the new part of the hotel, it was still a bit untidy. The original room I was allocated was a bed store with a couple of dismantled beds in.
Checked in and had to convince them I had not already checked in as they told me I had.

3 Nights at Ibis Budget London Whitechapel
The area where the hotel is located is fine, although the front desk told me that it was not very safe to walk around with valuables visible at night. The rooms are small. A closet or a place to put things is missing. Breakfast is fine, although the place was quite crowded and you might not find many things if you arrive close to closing time. The line for coffee is eternal. The friendliness at the reception could be improved.
Exactly what you expect from a budget hotel. No frills rooms but clean and tidy. Serviced every day. A really good breakfast. We arrived half an hour early and staff checked us in. We had an accessible nest room which I guess is bigger than the others. Only problem was accessible shower flooded whole bathroom so you couldn't go it there in your socks until it had dried out. Not a fancy part of town but feels safe. Fab food in Brick Lane up the road.
