Le Bacalan in Mormoiron Mont-Ventoux sud - sleeps 15

Located 2 km from the village of Mormoiron, Bacalan offers a unique resort in Provence, at the foot of Mont-Ventoux. This Provencal farmhouse of character, old wine farm, is located in the middle of vineyards, fruit trees and oaks, with a magnificent view of the surrounding countryside.

The entire house of 270 m2 has been decorated in a family spirit, with antique furniture and paintings of a grandparent painter. The ground floor is dedicated to living spaces: entrance, living room, dining room, large kitchen, shower room and toilet, and in an extension a second living room and a bedroom on one level. The entire 1st floor is reserved for sleeping with 6 bedrooms and 2 shower rooms.

A large terrace with tables, garden furniture and plancha, allows you to enjoy in any season meals and relaxation outside. Two plant pergolas and lime trees provide perfect shade in the garden from May to October.

The Bacalan offers the pleasure of meeting with family or friends, with a maximum capacity of 15 people.
3 bedrooms have a double bed while the other 4 bedrooms are furnished with two single beds twinned into king beds (180cm).
A large kitchen and a dining room with fireplace (firewood on request) allow to meet for meals. A living room with old charm is furnished with two sofas, an HD TV and a stereo for relaxing evenings. In the extension, another small living room allows to be more independent while remaining close to the farmhouse.
The pool and solarium have a pergola and deckchairs, and are private at Bacalan from May to September. The swimming pool with a pergola is secure.
The garden is at your disposal for moments of relaxation, surrounded by nature and in a perfect calm, thanks to three shaded outdoor spaces.

We had a great stay in this great place.

Both the location and environment of this place are perfect. It's a peaceful and charming place and communication with François went really smooth. We went there with a group of 12 persons to climb the Mt Ventoux, this place is really close to bedoin but is also perfect for a local ride to for example the Gorges de Nesque. I'd really recommend this place and would be happy to come back.

Très agréable séjour dans une charmante maison ´patinée ´ et chaleureuse. Calme et repos . Nature apaisante . Voisinage suffisamment lointain pour ne pas déranger en cas de fête d anniversaire ! De très beaux panoramas aux alentours . Un propriétaire bienveillant. Aku et Hello , les chiens du voisinage nous ont accompagnés très drôlement et gentiment !!

Wunderschöne, ruhige Lage von Weinbergen umgeben. Das Haus mit sehr viel Charakter und sehr individuell. Leider hat es öfter geregnet sodass wir den herrlichen Sitzplatz und den Pool nicht immer nutzen konnten.

vollausgestattetes und gemütliches Haus mit individuellem Charme

Wir haben in Mas De Bacalan eine kurzweilige Woche verbracht. Freundliche Nachbarn versorgten uns mit den Früchten der Natur, wir durften Trauben und Feigen ernten. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Dort haben wir gemütliche Abende am langen Tisch verbracht. Die Einrichtung der Schlafzimmer ist geschmackvoll, die Bäder komfortabel. Und der Pool mit Liegen und Apfelbaum lud zum Verweilen ein. Die Bilder des Grossvaters (ein dort bekannter Maler) geben dem Haus eine einzigartige Athmosphäre. Herr Mathieu hat uns interessante Tipps rund um das Haus und in der Umgebung gegeben. Wir sagen Danke für den angenehmen Aufenthalt.

Very Nice House and pool. World highly recommend this place.

Family trip of 10 people from Denmark. 4 adults and 6 kids/teenagers. The house was big and nice. Lovely garden, outdoor area and pool. It was posibble to walk to Marmoiron and to the Lake. Nice and friendly landlord who spoke very well english. Would highly recommend this place.

Een echte aanrader!

We hebben hier met 12 personen een lang weekend doorgebracht. De mannen hebben de Mont Ventoux beklommen ( 20 minuutjes rijden) en wij hebben heerlijk aan het zonnige zwembad gelegen. Het huis heeft alles en meer om met 12 personen te verblijven. Alles was netjes en schoon. Heerlijk buiten eten onder de druiventrossen en genieten van de mooie omgeving. Een tuin waar je ook nog prima kan vermaken met tafeltennissen en badminton of een wandelingetje tussen de wijngaarden. Het stapelbed was ondertussen vervangen door een tweepersoonsbed.

Un petit coin de paradis

Le mas est très beau et authentique, ainsi que bien spacieux/confortable et se trouve au milieu des vignes, la vue est donc magnifique. Parfait avec des enfants car la piscine est entourée d’une barrière et il y a de nombreuses activités (volley, ping-pong, etc.). Le propriétaire est très sympathique et à l’écoute. De chouettes excursions dans les alentours, c’est donc un endroit parfait pour les vacances entre amis/famille.

Mas de Bacalan - el paraíso

Mas de Bacalan es una casa preciosa y muy personal, con muchos detalles espectaculares como los cuadros "del abuelo", los libros, los muebles ...Las habitaciones amueblados con mucho gusto, muy individuales y perfectamente distribuidos. La casa estaba muy limpia, al igual que la piscina y el jardín. Alrededor de la casa invitan los campos de vino y las montañas rojas a un paseo.Para los jóvenes había bastantes posibilidades de actividades, tenis de mesa, senderismo alrededor de la casa, volleyball, equilibrio sobre cuerda... La ubicación es perfecta - los sitios más bonitos se encuentran en los alrededores - Sault, L´isle sur le Sorgue, Roussillón, Carpentras...los campos de lavanda y vino. Mormoiron, Mazán, Bédoin, Ville-sur-Auzon - simpáticos pueblos con mucho ambiente, con restaurantes, tiendas y cafés a 10 minutos de Mas de Bacalan. El simpático propietario François hizo lo mejor para garantizar una estancia perfecta con sus preocupaciones y sus buenos consejos. Mas de Bacalan es absolutamente recomendable y esperemos poder volver una día.

Superbe mas provencal

Beaucoup de points positifs pour ce gîte : son environnement au coeur des vignes et au pied du Ventoux, le calme des lieux en retrait de la circulation, l'authenticité de ce mas provençal et surtout la sensation d'être chez soi dans cette maison de famille. Et puis tout le reste , la terrasse et sa tonnelle végétale, la piscine et le matériel mis à disposition, la cuisine spacieuse et le confort des chambres. On ne peut que recommander cette belle adresse idéale pour une grande famille ou un groupe d'amis. Merci encore à François pour son accueil et ses conseils pour les randonnées au départ du gîte. Une seule petite remarque : améliorer le chemin d'accès un peu chaotique.

Un séjour vraiment très réussi.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour au Mas de Bacalan à l'occasion des fêtes de fin d'année. Le propriétaire, Mr Mathieu, est accueillant et très sympathique. Le gîte est grand et bien aménagé, nous nous y sommes tout de suite sentis très à l'aise. C'est très calme sans être isolé (on peut d'ailleurs facilement accéder à pied au village voisin). La cour et le jardin possèdent également énormément de charme, nous en avons bien profité (en cette saison, les nuits étaient fraîches, mais nous avons eu un beau ciel bleu et du soleil pendant 8 jours). Nous ne connaissions pas cette partie du Vaucluse et nous n'avons pas été déçus. C'est une destination de choix pour les amateurs de randonnée (la vue en haut du Ventoux est somptueuse) ou de cyclisme. Il y a également de très jolis villages à proximité. Mr Mathieu donne de très bons conseils, nous avons grâce à lui découvert les ocres de Mormoiron (très belle randonnée au départ du Mas). En bref, nous recommandons vivement cette location.
