About this property

Convenient to downtown Asheville, Biltmore Estate, and Blue Ridge Pky.

Our private cabin in the woods is in a secluded, mountainous community. It shares a little over an acre of land with our primary residence, wild turkeys, foxes, deer, and an occasional bear. Just minutes from downtown Asheville, the famous Biltmore Estate, Grove Park Inn, Black Mountain, and many other fine places.
Asheville is sophisticated, classy, and fun, with a vast array of restaurants, craft breweries, yoga studios, music venues, schools and other attractions. You're also very close to the spectacularly scenic Blue Ridge Parkway and other places of rare natural beauty, with dozens of hiking, jogging and mountain biking trails along rivers, lakes and creeks.
This split-level studio cabin is exceptionally comfortable for 2-3 people, with a queen-sized bed and futon upstairs in a common area, and a full bath and kitchenette downstairs. There is no stove top but a refrigerator, microwave, instant pot, and electric grill are available for your use. There's a lovely screened-in porch with porch swing, and a hammock is ready for your relaxation under the trees.
We provide quality amenities such as snacks, bagels w/cream cheese, soaps, linens, towels, a hair dryer, electric grill, instant pot, crock pot, microwave, dishes and silverware, keurig, books, games, first aid items, blankets and reliable Wi-Fi connection. If you need to do laundry, our washing machine and dryer are available for a small fee. Upon arriving please note there are numerous steps down to the cabin.
And unlike other cabin rentals, ours really does have hot water for your shower and bath. You can easily see this is your sweet home away from home.

Perfect Mountain Cabin Near Asheville

What a gem this little cabin was. Our favorite part was the screened in porch with the swing and lights! We were only there for 2 nights, but enjoyed our stay. The cabin was just 20 minutes from downtown Asheville, which is such a neat city to explore. Leslie was a great host!

I have to say this stay had everything we expected and more, including hair dryer, snacks, coffee and even a carton of half and half in the fridge (my favorite). The hosts were very hospitable and the cabin was a dream! So quiet and lovely! We even saw a bear! What a treat. Next visit to Asheville we will stay here again.

Great location, Exceptional Convenience, and Beautiful Views

Our stay in Asheville was very enjoyable and a big portion of what made it so great was the location and convenience Leslie and her cabin provided to us. The cabin location is central making easy to frequent the downtown and surrounding areas often However, it is also far enough so that you get a taste of the nature and beauty the mountains of Asheville have to offer. It is no more than 20 mins to all the main attractions of Asheville. The owner of the cabin is easy to communicate with and extremely accommodating. We had water, bagels, and even beer waiting for us in the fridge when we checked in. The Wildlife can be viewed comfortably from the screened porch, which we did often over some morning coffee. I highly recommend this listing and you will feel relax and comfortable knowing you have everything you would need from this cabin.

A cozy nest

Leslie gave detailed instructions for finding the cabin and checked on us daily to be sure we had everything we needed. The cabin was close to nature in a quiet neighborhood but close to restaurants, shopping, hiking, and other activities.

LOVELY Hosts and Beautiful Private Cabin

Leslie and her husband are two of the kindest people you'll ever meet. We truly loved them from the start! It was like having new family for a weekend (They respected our privacy but were always available for any need, big or small). The cabin was beautiful and rustic, a truly relaxing sort of "treehouse" in the woods. Private and great location. Lovely!!!

Wonderful little cabin in the woods!

Stayed for two nights with my boyfriend, place was very peaceful & quaint. Hosts were easy to contact & very helpful. I didn’t realize that’s the cabin was just a few steps from the hosts home but that was no issue. Came in handy when we needed a plunger LOL

Perfect cabin on the mountain side.

My wife and I stayed here for a couple nights and had an absolute blast. Convenient location that’s close to everything, yet still offers complete privacy. Leslie showed tremendous hospitality and we can’t thank her enough. We will definitely stay again.

This place is a gem 💎

This was our first trip since the pandemic, but this place met my high cleanliness standards. We loved the location and the ambiance of the cabin and property. Leslie had the cabin well-stocked with various snacks and amenities. We would definitely stay here again if in Asheville. Of all the properties I considered for our stay, I’m so glad I went with this one.

Cozy cabin

Our short stay was a wonderfully relaxing experience. The cabin was close to all the amenities we needed, but private enough to feel away from it all. Leslie was a gracious host and made sure to make us feel welcome. (Make sure to follow her directions though, as Google does not know heads from tails in that area!)

About the host

Hosted by Leslie Sayyar

Host profile image
My husband and I are retired and love to host friends and family. We are Warren Wilson College alumni, which is why we chose this lovely area to return to. I love to practice yoga and volunteer. We hike and love the beauty of the surrounding mountains!

Why they chose this property

This property is close to our college roots. We have returned to visit Asheville over the past 40 + years and finally decided to retire here. We love the mountains, hiking, change of seasons, and the many activities Asheville and Black Mountain have to offer.

What makes this property unique

The beautiful mountains are all around us. Lovely in the fall and spring or anytime of the year. Lots of privacy. We feel as though we live in a forest but grocery stores, pharmacies, restaurants, and fire department are not far away. With downtown Asheville being 15-20 minutes away, options are limitless!! Hiking is a must and there are numerous trails close by and on the Blue Ridge Parkway.
