Wyes workshops, Oak Cottage, Hideawayhut, nestled on the edge of the Hudnalls Nature Reserve, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Self contained space with everything you need, in your own little private forest nook. Lie in your King size bed gazing out, see the stars twinkle through the branches. Sip wine on your veranda. Hire hotub as an extra.
Snuggled warm with the Woodburning fire.
Indoor fully stocked kitchen, gas hob, fridge. Ensuite hot shower and sink. Separate private loo.
The space
The Offas Dyke Path is our drive way, leading onto a footpath that connects you to The Hudnalls Nature Reserve, and takes you on the Wye Valley ramble Path. This is all about the setting and location, peace and quiet, couples retreat. There is everything in the hut you need for your stay so you can pack light.
We built this structure ourselves out of reclaimed materials, designed to blend with the woodland. Just off your veranda in your own private garden is a BBQ, also deck chairs placed so you can comfortably do forest bathing. The woodfired hottub on your veranda is available to hire as an extra £100. ( Not included in the price)
Comfy kingsize bed has Welsh sheep wool pillows, we provide cotton bedding and towels.
Breakfast there’s plenty of fresh coffee beans for you to grind, teabags, milk. Eggs from our free range hens, flour, fresh lemon and sugar for you to make your own pancakes. Fridge. There is power. We provide wood for the woodburner which keeps you toastie.
The loo is separate, with lights.
Dogs welcome.
Electric mountain bikes available to hire.
Melt into the warm waters of our wood fired hot tub. You will leave feeling regenerated, recharged and relaxed. proper lush woodfired hot tub you can hire, right next to your accommodation for your own exclusive use . We charge a one-off payment of ninety nine pounds for the hottub hire for your whole stay. this is so the accommodation is still affordable for guests who do not wish to bathe. It is private, clean, fresh water, we light It ready for your arrival, and provide firewood for you to keep it going throughout your stay. You just stoke it when you need water reheating. It does need to be pre booked as it takes over 3 hours to get full and hot. I can invoice you through air bnb if u agree. or message me for bank details
Guest access
You can not drive your car, you do need to walk. The car will be parked 200m up the track and a wheelbarrow provided for luggage.

It’s rough ground you need sturdy footwear and a torch. Dogs welcome
Clean bedding, towels, loo roll are provided in the hut along with breakfast of pancakes, milk, eggs, flour, sugar, lemon, coffee beans and tea.
There is phone signal with EE and O2.
Do bring your shopping with you, as the nearest shops are small village shops that only open 9-5 they are a 10 minute drive away. We can sell you seasonal veg from our garden. Please be mindful not to buy food with plastic packaging, the tap water here is drinking water so you do not need to bring your own. There is a bbq for you to use so you don’t need to bring a disposable bbq just charcoal.
I don't iron the bedding, we hot wash bedding and towels with eco strips, we do not use fabric conditioner for environmental reasons.
