My husband and I have been working hard, we only usually rent a cabin on our anniversary in October. Since last year's VRBO was a bust, we decided to tempt fate again and try to relive our anniversary on my bday in June. We took our dog Leeloo who was a very good girl for the trip. She loved seeing the squirrels outside when my husband fed them.
The location is gorgeous, it is quiet, and the amenities are impressive! The host is so great, and even let us stay a little past checkout so we could leave in a peaceful/relaxed manner (I don't know if this is common, but I truly appreciated that opportunity).
My husband and I agree that this trumps our honeymoon cabin by a landslide and we will be looking to stay again in the future!
10/10 across the board. 👍😊
Great place to relax and observe nature, we seen numerous dears and Havelina and we were awakened with the sounds of birds in the morning. Great place to relax and get some rest the house Jim was great to work with and very respectful of our privacy. We will recommend this place to everyone. Thanks DD & TD
So thankful to have had the opportunity to stay at this beautiful cabin. The home was incredibly clean, the surroundings were beautiful, and the awesomeness of the cabin vastly exceeded my expectations. Short drive to town, hiking trails nearby, peace and quiet were abundant. Thank you, Jim! I'll definitely be returning. 💙
Very clean, cozy fresh! Great views, we were there for a soccer tournament kids loved it specially Friday that snowed, was able to see jabalina and deer, I would point out the bbq grill didn’t really work but that’s an easy fix,
My husband and I enjoyed staying here in the tall Pines for a few days. The cabin was clean, fully stocked with generous extras, quiet, and very close to downtown. The downstairs bed was very comfortable.
If you are looking for a nice space to stay, we definitely recommend the treehouse cabin!
PS. The owner, Jim, response quickly, and is very flexible.
This was our second time staying here and we absolutely loved. The view from the balcony seeing deer and squirrels run around so close was a nice sight. It was very spacious and felt at home. We will definitely be staying again.
We loved this property. The location is perfect. Very short drive to downtown Prescott but you feel like you are way out in the mountains. The house was well stocked with all the essentials and then some. It was incredibly relaxing and comfortable. Will stay here again.
It’s was a short a sweet stay. Much needed family, game time. The place was peaceful and perfect. We even had a visit from a little deer the morning of our departure. We would definitely go back. Thank you
Spent most of our time outside on the wrap around decking that really made you feel like you were in the trees. Spent time watching the birds and squirrels. Really nice cabin, really nice area, thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
The cabin had everything we needed, it felt like home. The community in the forest was perfect. It was not too close to neighbors and was surrounded by enough trees to make you feel like you were all alone. The family enjoyed biking on trails during the day and seeing the town and unwinding at night at the quiet cabin. The wrap around deck was perfect for morning coffee or an evening drink.
This cabin looks out into the trees and feels like a treehouse! It's only 15 minutes from downtown Prescott and all the wonderful restaurants and shops. When you return from town, you're in your own peaceful, cozy home in the hills! There is a primary bedroom and a loft bedroom. Bath attached to primary and another downstairs with a shower for the loft. The wrap around deck is wonderful with tables, couch and chairs, a grill and firepit. As you drive through the neighborhood, there are deer and the occasional javelina.
What a wonderful place. A modern house in the woods and quite. It has a wraparound porch with gas heater and two gas grills. the inside was great, with new kitchen with everything,{2 coffee pots 2 toasters, dishwasher, microwaves with everything you would need.master bedroom with bathroom. The 2nd bathroom has a washer and dryer. We did not use the loft. Jim is a great host.
Magical! Serene! Peaceful! Cozy! If you are looking for a cute, quiet little cabin tucked back and away from town then this is your place! We didn’t want to leave! Also, Jim was extremely accommodating and responsive with our requests.
This property was the perfect getaway from a Minnesota winter. Great location, close to all the sights we wanted to explore and fantastic location for my daily walks.
We stayed here for several days for Christmas 2022. The back porch was amazing and saw javalina, turkeys and squirrels. Figuring out the heat was a little different but once figured it out was nice and toasty. Has events with dials in each room and bathroom that you turn manually. Water in kitchen had to turn right for hot water which we figured out after a couple of days washing dishes in icey cold water. Owner is a very nice helpful man. Got back to us right away with any questions we had. I have an allergy to feather pillows and he actually cleared the house of them and brought in regular pillows for us before our arrival. That was very kind of him to do! Loved staying here and will hopefully be back every year!
Pictures don't do it justice! More beautiful than the pictures show. Very clean, lots of room, lots of towels, stocked with snacks and great coffee/tea. The deck is amazing, has a fire pit and lots of seating. Lots of parking space in the driveway. Wonderful neighborhood, nice place to take a walk. Lots of wildlife to see. It has a wonderful fireplace, nice and cozy!!
This was our second time staying at this absolutely wonderful “tree-house” property. You could not find a better host than Jim. Although there was not much we had to contact him about because everything is just “that good“, we always like to “touch base“ with our host if possible and Jim makes that a very easy procedure. We actually had the opportunity to meet him this trip which was kind of cool because that doesn’t usually happen. Anyway, Jim’s home was just as enjoyable as it was last year. Being in the forest (even though there are homes around you) it seems like you are by yourself. Very rarely did we hear or see any sign of the neighbors. Just as was the case last year, we saw plenty of wildlife. A flock of wild turkeys came by on several different occasions, a family of Javelina (mom, dad and three babies) we’re right at our front doorstep one morning and I got a great video of them. A coyote came by a couple of times and we saw many more deer than even last year. A doe with two fawns was the “icing on the cake”. The wrap-around deck is one of the most relaxing places we have ever been. During morning coffee there are at least a dozen squirrels playing on the deck within a couple of feet of you and in the trees all around. They are totally entertaining with their antics and amazing leaps from tree to tree. And watching the sunset in the evening with a cocktail is the absolute perfect way to end one of the most relaxing day you will ever enjoy. All in all, I can’t say enough good things about this property and we will definitely be back. Thank you so much Jim for making our “get away“ from the Tucson heat so perfect.
