Lovely large 2 storey villa, with extra large pool and spacious feel throughout

A private villa with a light and airy open plan lounge diner and kitchen attached, with everything you might need on a self-catering break including dishwasher good size fridge freezer and washing machine. There is UK TV and wifi . On this level there are 2 bedrooms, one double and one twin room and a family bathroom. Taking the stairs to the lower basement area you will find a further bedroom with a double and single bed and a further large lounge area – ideal for kids. Also a further bathroom is located on this level.
Walking outside from the upper lounge you will come across a lovely shaded terrace with an external seating area and swing chair – perfect for relaxing on. The pool is further on in the garden on the lower level, it is a super-size one measuring 9m x 4.75m. (Electrically heated included in the price for bookings 01.11 to 30.04 if required to be on outside of these dates then additional 120.00 euros per week to be added to the price please ask when booking that you need the heating on outside of the dates 01.11 to 30.04,) There is a traditionally style Canarian BBQ and plenty of sunbeds to complete this holiday villa.

Really enjoyable holiday, pool area is great
We had a lovely time at the villa. It had everything we wanted, a real home from home. The pool was a great size, the kids were in it every day while we relaxed on the sunbeds. The villa is in a quiet residential area, its about 15 minutes walk to the shop and another 5 minutes to the beach. It takes around 30 mins to get to the main town, where we went most evenings. We would get a taxi home for around €4. Ruth was a great host and met us upon arrival and was very helpful. The weather was pretty good during our stay too. We had a couple of cloudy days but it was around 25 degrees each day which is amazing for November (especially weather had been so awful at home 🙂) We would recommend this villa to others and will hopefully return .

October Break
The villa was absolute perfect for our family of 2 adults and 2 children aged 6 and 4. Ruth was waiting for us at the property when we arrived. She took the time to explain and show everything to us and make sure we were happy. Nice welcome pack of all the little bits and bobs you need for your first day. The walk to the main beach is only 25mins roughly so not bad at all. Also if wanting a taxi was simple to phone and I don’t think we waited more than 5 mins and never paid more than 5 euros to go anywhere and that left a decent tip normally. The villa is in a lovely quiet bit so great for the kids as wasn’t to loud at night etc. Pool size was big factor in booking and it was thoroughly enjoyed virtually everyday. All the other bits and bobs WiFi etc all worked great not a single issue. Ruth was on hand though should there be anything so that was good to know. Wouldn’t hesitate to return or recommend to friends and family.

Ruhige Lage, großzügige Gartenfläche , Pool super, grosses Haus , gute Ausstattung der Küche, Ruth empfängt die Gäste herzlich und macht alles möglich - für deutsches Fernsehen hätten wir den Techniker bemühen müssen, es ging auch ohne , Waschmaschine/ Spülmaschine perfekt aber Waschmaschine nur für 2 Waschvorgänge Waschmittel da . Es gibt einen kleinen Sonnenschirm für draussen , die Schirmhalter sind wackelig der Schirm schon ramponiert, bei 4 Personen wären 2 Schirme von Vorteil - in der zweiten Woche neue Handtücher für Bad und Pool wäre auch schön gewesen - aber alles in allem hatten wir eine schöne Zeit , gemütliche Abende mit der Abendsonne auf der Terrasse , der Pool wurde zu jeder Zeit genutzt ,obwohl es keine Poolheizung gibt er aber optimal temperiert war - mit dem Auto ist man in wenigen Minuten in Playa Blanca , Marina Rubicon und bei einem Hipperdino Supermarkt sowie bei den Papagayo Stränden ... auch der Nationalpark ist nahe gelegen sowie El Golfo , Los Hervideros...was will man mehr - man ist in Spanien , da ist der Standart anders als in Deutschland - wir hatten eine gute Zeit in der Villa :)

Great pool and relaxing accommodation
Our main reason for booking this property was the 9 meter pool which we both enjoyed. My husband's two devices were able to sign on to the wifi but even with several attempts over our stay I was not able to sign on to the wifi which was a bit annoying. Nevertheless, we had a great stay and Ruth helped us sort out a few issues. Would stay here again.

Fantastic Villa - Would Recommend
My family and I stayed at Villa Ruth from 1st Aug for 14 nights. The villa is without doubt the best one we have stayed in. Very clean and incredibly spacious. The pool is fantastic and definitely bigger than the average private pool. The villa is a 20 minute walk to the nearest beach (Playa Dorada) and a similar distance to the town, so a car is not required but can be useful. A taxi from the town to the villa is under 4 Euros. Ruth made us feel very welcome and we would stay again.

Lovely & peaceful villa
Thoroughly enjoyed our week in Villa Ruth. Spacious,bright, comfortable & well maintained accommodation with the added bonus of a private pool. Ruth & daughter picked us up at our drop-off point & also gave us a lift to the supermarket, which was much appreciated. We would have no hesitation in booking Villa Ruth in the future.

Excellent Accomodation
We really enjoyed our fortnight at Villa Ruth. The booking process was simple and communication with the property managers was quick, friendly and efficient. Ruth met us on arrival and showed us around the villa. Throughout our stay she was easily contactable and very quick to sort out the one small issue we had. The property was clean and well appointed and we were comfortable and happy during our stay. The villa is in a very quiet part of Playa Blanca but it is a decent walk to the centres. We love walking so it was no problem for us but it took us around 25 mins to get to the old town and around 30 mins to get to the Marina. There is a small supermarket about 15 mins walk away but the big one is at the far end of the old town. We had a car so it was not a problem. All in all we had a fantastic holiday and would certainly consider Villa Ruth again should we return to Playa Blanca

Lovely, spacious villa in quiet area - in fact rather too large for only two people!
This villa is ideal for a family of four or more with its vast amount of space and above average size pool. Nonetheless two of us wallowed in loads of room. It's unfortunate that our car could not be parked on the driveway because of the very high kerb at the entrance.

Beautiful clean and well kept.
From the moment we arrived and greeted by the owner Ruth to the day we left we had a great stay. The villa is spacious, modern, well kept and spotless clean. Everything we needed was there even down to blankets so we could still sit outside when the evening got a little chilly. I would definitely recommend this property and definitely visit again. Thank you Ruth for making our stay effortless and enjoyable. Andrew.

Excellent Villa
Ruth welcomed us and showed us everything we needed to know. The villa is beautiful with modern appliances and a welcoming decor,certainly more than big enough for six adults. Probably the most comfortable beds we have had in our travels. The outside area is private and quiet so we found it very relaxing. The pool was lovely although it did become quite cloudy by the end of our stay due to a day of heavy rain fall. The area is far enough away from playa Blanca to be quiet but only €3:50 cab journey and you are enjoying beautiful restaurants and the stunning marina. Would definitely recommend.

Villa was perfect, beautiful island will definately return in the future. We didn't hire a car but I would definately next time pick up at the airport and for supermarket runs. Although the supermarket was a pleasant walk but struggled back with the shopping

Fantastic villa and an amazing holiday!
We had a great holiday at Villa Ruth! We arrived late at night and there was a welcome pack there with some essentials that we required. The villa was beautiful with everything you would need and very very clean. The pool area and barbecue area were fantastic. The villa is in a more secluded and quiet residential area away from the huddle and bustle of the beach front which meant you were able to relax. We didn’t hire a car, however the walk to the beach front was very pleasant and flat and only takes 15-20 minutes. A taxi to the villa from the shop near the main street was only €4 so we felt that a car wasnt a necessity. We enjoyed every minute of our holiday, special thanks to Ruth for being very helpful and accommodating. Honestly couldn’t have been better! Highly recommended.

Ein sehr schönes Haus ,die Betten super und Ruth ist immer da ,wenn man sie braucht
Wir haben hier 14 Tage verbracht ,die ersten Tage war es noch kalt ,aber wir hatten 2 Radiatoren. Die Kaffeemaschine ist leider nicht so klasse ,aber da könnten wir uns behelfen und trotzdem hat es uns super gut gefallen . Wie die Insel überhaupt,es war unser erster Besuch .

Clean, spacious first class villa
The villa from booking to leaving was absolutely first class service. Special mention to Ruth who was there to meet us and guide us throughout our stay, Ruth is very responsive and as good a host you could wish to meet. The Villa is extremely clean with every amenity you require. The easy walk into the main restaurant area is around 20-25 minutes and taxis are really good value. The pool is a really good size with ample sunbeds and towels. I have stayed in many villas but this one is right up there as one of the best and I would highly recommend this as a place to stay. We hired a car not much difference in price to a return taxi and worth it for stocking up on groceries to save you multiple trips of carrying back bags, driving is very easy there. Thanks Ruth it was a pleasure, hopefully see you soon Paul and Family

Best Villa Ever
We just got back from our holiday and are already checking dates for our next visit to Villa Ruth. The Villa is large, bright and impeccably furnished. There's nothing else you could possibly ask for. The ground floor area is perfect for teens to have their own space, the pool is large and welcoming. Ruth also left a lovely welcome gift of biscuits, jam and other goodies which was very much appreciated. A car is not necessary. It's a 20 minute walk in to town with plenty of bars and restaurants. Stay away from salads at the Gondola though, unless you like chopped up crab sticks on top of tinned pineapple, topped off with a dollop of mayonnaise with paprika... The amazing Papagaya beach is a good 50/60 minute but very pleasurable walk away. Well worth a visit.

An impeccably clean and wonderful villa
Villa RUTH was a lovely villa. We had a couple of issues whilst there but Ruth was very quick in sorting it and was brilliant in her communication with us. There wasnt a mid fortnight clean but we washed our own bedding and towels. Was told later if you want the clean to ask but iv never had to ask in our villa holidays before. The villa is a superb holiday home with everything you could want/need to make your holiday fantastic. It was impeccably clean also. We have stayed in the area 4 times before and usually stay across the road but our usual villa was already booked so found Villa Ruth. I have to say it would be our first choice villa now if the price was ok. Villa RUTH is a semi detached villa but we only heard some minimal noise early morning due to them having little children but it never became too much. We always hire a car from the airport for one day and drive to the villa and do the first big shop and stock up for the 2 weeks. Take it back to the harbour car rental. It is about a 30 min leisurely walk to the new Marina and about 20 mins will see you hit the main front promanade.

Amazing holiday home
We had a fantastic time at Villa Ruth - we arrived a little early and Ruth and her team were tidying up following the previous tenants and she immediately made us feel welcome, answering all our questions and making sure we had what we needed. The villa itself is beautiful with a big pool, with plenty of room for sun lounging, plus two separate outdoor areas for dinner and/or drinks! The front room is spacious with a nice leather sofa and the kitchen has all you need. I think this villa could actually sleep about 8 people! Myself and my fiance rented it just the two of us though, so we didnt need to make any use of the huge downstairs area which also has extra bedrooms, TV area etc It is about a 25 minute walk to the main Playa Blanca area, which can feel a little long, but nice in the sun and you're probably not in a rush on holiday anyway! Taxi's are cheap and incredibly fast to pick you up, so that's the option we used a lot of the time. Overally a wonderful place with a lovely owner, would definitely recommend and use again if we return to Lanzarote.

Schöne Villa mit kleinen Mängeln
Die Villa an sich ist eine sehr schöne Villa mit allem was man für einen Selbstverpflegungsurlaub benötigt und auch recht zentral gelegen. Sie ist sehr groß mit einer gut ausgestatteten Küche und einem Aussengrill. Es gibt eine Kaffeemaschine sowie auch eine Tassimo Maschine und eine Spülmaschine. Auch gibt es eine Waschmaschine im Keller. Zudem gab es ein kleines Gastgeschenk mit Marmelade, Keksen und Tee. Auch Ruth, die sich um die Gäste kümmert, war sehr nett, hilfsbereit und immer für uns da wenn wir Probleme hatten. Leider hat während unserem Aufenthalt von 12 Tagen der Fernseher erst in den letzten 4 Tagen funktioniert, da die Programme über das Internet empfangen werden und wir durch Irgendwelche Probleme des Recievers keine Deutschen Programme empfangen konnten. Nach mehreren Telefonaten mit dem Techniker hat es dann für die restlichen Tage noch funktioniert. Auch hatten wir des Öfteren Besuch von Kakerlaken, sodass man morgens nach dem Aufstehen direkt wach war. Zudem sind die Villen recht hellhörig, sodass man von den direkten Nachbarn jedes Stuhlrücken und lautes Rufen gehört hat. Auch war es für uns recht schockierend, dass man uns sagte, wir sollen doch bitte kein Klopapier in die Toilette werfen sondern in die danebenstehenden Eimer. Die Vorstellung daran, das benutzte Papier nur in einen Eimer zu werfen war schon recht eklig, sodass wir unsere Eimer jeden Tag leerten. Wir hatten trotz der Probleme eine recht schöne Zeit dort, würden diese Villa jedoch nicht ein zweites Mal buchen.

Great Villa
Villa Ruth is a spacious clean and comfortable base to stay. It has everything needed including all cleaning materials so no having to stock up on stuff that won't get used. The pool is fab - really good size for the teenagers to do somersaults in and also to do swimming. Not heated but this was lovely in the august heat. The villa is a way out of the main resort and restaurants but we walked in and out most evenings - takes approx twenty minutes so very do-able.We hired a car and explored island - roads are easy to navigate and car also helped to get things from supermarket which is a 15 minute walk away. Ruth met us there and when we left and was available if needed but did not intrude at all. recommend a climb up Mount Roja and scuba diving with Dive Academy. Papagayos lovely and nearby- roads not too bad in despite what you may read.Not terribly impressed with caves in north of island - very poor tour guide. Local beach lovely and good snorkeling near the dive academy shop. Definitely recommended as a home from home but with better weather!

Wir wurden von Ruth freundlich empfangen und instruiert. Für Strandliebhaber ohne Auto ist es ein 2km Marsch pro Weg zu Playa Dorada, welcher meistens recht überlaufen ist.
