Great Villa above Marseille
The villa is a very special property with large rooms, space for everyone, a big privat pool and of course the breathtaking view above Marseille.
We spent our holiday of 9 nights in August here with nine people in total. The villa has enough space for everyone so we’ve had a very relaxing time up on the hill. Due to the very open architecture with lots of big windows the house is really beautiful. The owner Anne is very kind. The villa is the family home and it’s very artistic, with huge paintings and wide open spaces. We arrived during a heatwave in the middle of August and you have to know that the rooms have no AC so we had about 30 degrees Celsius during the days and sometimes also during the nights. After the big heat came the storm - and it’s very windy up on the hill. The way to the villa is a very narrow road up in the mountains, so prepare for a little adventure! The nearest beach was very nice but full of people especially in the evening ours and you probably won’t find any parking space nearby.
The pool at the villa was very nice and refreshing, so we spent most of our days there.
