The beds were comfortable and not jiggly - which helps when you're sharing! Bring your eye masks. : ) There are skylights in the bedrooms and the blinds and curtains don't block much light.
We had a great time at this house for Thanksgiving! The house was well stocked with anything you could possibly need, especially the kitchen! All of the beds were super comfortable with great pillows. We communicated with the host in advance of our stay and during our stay, and the response was always quick. We also used the hot tub which was clean and just the right temperature. Highly recommend this house!
The owner was very helpful and quickly responded to inquiries. It is a nice house in a nice neighborhood, and overall the house was well-stocked and clean. My only comments regarding the house were the brass beds were rather squeaky and were not used, the stainless steel frying pans were not really functional for many meals, and, although it appeared that there was or soon would be a dishwasher available, when we stayed, there was no dishwasher and washing dishes for many people was a little cumbersome. Thanks for the visit!
Property inside was good. Needs work on downstairs bathroom as the door does not lock.
When your house cleaner goes through have them check lights. Many lightbulbs were out.
May want to update your Property rules as it says to load dishwasher.
I didn't know how to lock the doir. May want to give further instructions on that.
Home was large and inviting. Thank you. Mae
I've stayed at a lot of VRBOs and received great reviews from the hosts. But this is the worse VRBO I have ever stayed at. Premium priced at over $800/night (net with taxes and fees) for a low quality property with plumbing problems, furniture that is falling apart and a host that mislead the availability of the garage for storing mountain bikes and did not prepare or stock the house with normal supplies before our arrival. The property has numerous issues all communicated to VRBO and the host, and too numerous to fully list here. For example: one of the bathroom sinks leaked all over the cabinet and floor, one of the toilets did not flush and had to be repaired by a roommate, dishwasher shown in the listing pictures was removed and replaced by a blank panel, there were ants in the kitchen getting into our food, host said they left keys in the garage door lock, however, the 2 car garaged was filled with 2 vintage Ford T-Birds with no room for bike storage. We didn't want to risk damaging the cars getting bikes in and out of the garage for 6 days, the coffee maker leaked all over the counters, furniture was old and falling apart... and it goes on. Upon arrival the property was not provisioned as VRBOs are and I had to essentially do inventory for the host. It was supposed to be a vacation and it felt I was working for the host.
