Thoroughly enjoyed this rental. Started with entering the home and it was spotless! That is so appreciated. The accommodations were just what we needed and very comfortable. Enjoyed the fire pit and the nice back yard. Communication with Doug was excellent and we totally enjoyed our stay. Hope to return in the future!
The house was super clean and was super cozy! Plenty of space for our group! Communication with property managers was amazing with a few issues we had on our end. Will definitely be staying again! Location for boat launches was great as well! Thank you for a wonderful week
The house was perfect for what we were looking for. Close to nature preserves and hiking trails as well as 30 minutes from several ski lodges. The house was clean, quiet and comfortable, very easy to access. We very much enjoyed our stay.
The property is secluded but close to the road. The big yard was great to walk our dog in. We were able to enjoy a lot of northern Michigan attractions from this central location. Would not hesitate to book this home again.
This house was perfect for our trip to the OHV trails in the area. The house is clean and comfortable and is located in a beautiful area near restaurants and other services.
The home and location fitted our needs perfectly for our son's wedding in Indian River.
Our large family group had plenty of room to gather for games and visiting. Look forward to staying here again.
We came with family to visit Mackinaw City, Mackinaw Island, Tahquamenon Falls, and Petosky! We had a wonderful time and this property was as listed. Clean, quiet and private, big enough for our family and had everything we needed for a wonderful time Up North!
Very nice house. Nice and clean with plenty of towels. Kids enjoyed the bunk beds. They were quick to help when we ran out of basic supplies. This was our first stay at Vrbo.
Enjoyed it very much!
Close to local attractions, private and very clean.
This property is very clean and comfortable. All the basic essentials are provided, including samples of soap and shampoo/conditioner. We did have an issue with the coffee maker not working the first morning, but, despite the early hour, management got back to us within minutes! We were able to go to a nearby rental to get a replacement.
The location is within 30-40 minutes of all the area attractions. Perfect for what we wanted to do. The only issue with the location, for us, was the fact that the driveway is located on a blind curve of a fairly busy road.
Overall, we were very pleased with this rental and would consider it again if we are looking for a place in the Indian River area.

Mullet Roadhouse
Very clean, well organized, and had everything you need. Had an issue with reservations but was immediately assisted by Doug. I would return and highly recommend.
Clean & spacious. Furniture was quite comfortable. When we contacted the owner, he promptly responded. Nicely decorated. We did bring a few kitchen items to use as we make most of our meals. They do have basic kitchen items. We enjoyed the deck.
We had 3 families (4 adults & 2 kids) with spaces for everyone. House was super clean upon arrival with comfy beds & nice towels. The kitchen could use a colander, sharp knife & cutting board if you’re cooking (we did) but that’s just a blip.
Location was great. We took a day trip to Mackinac Island (35 minutes from front door to ferry dock) one day and a trip to the Soo Locks & Whitefish Bay another.
Great grocery store nearby (Ken’s), washer & dryer available and a nice big deck with a grill.
Five ⭐️!
Pictures were accurate, it was clean, good location, neighbors are close by but the way the trees are it's like you're in the wilderness. The kitchen is slightly lacking if you plan on cooking alot but we improvised when needed. We had an issue with a hornets nest when checking in, we text the number provided and they arrived within 30 minutes. We had 6 adults and we would stay again!!
All 4 of us would certainly consider staying there again. We're sorry we did not get to take advantage of the firepit outside. The property was surrounded by woods and was quite peaceful. The property pictures included those of a lakefront. There was no lakefront or even a lake at all that could be seen from the property. The house was clean and it appeared the carpet had been recently shampooed. This was evidenced by the styrofoam cubes under the living room furniture legs. However, we purchased a Swifer for the housecleaning company to use on the ceiling fan blades, as especially the kitchen fan over the table, was quite dust covered. Bottom line, we thoroughly enjoyed our time there and will share this Vrbo experience with others. Thank you for the opportunity to share your home.
The property itself was wonderful. We had one issue in that we could not get the furnace to heat the house beyond 65 degrees. We called the number listed in the renter book at the house but were never called back. Unsure if it was an issue with the furnace/thermostat, or us unable to figure out how to use the thermostat. Aside from that we enjoyed the weekend and will check availability of this property for use next year.
The house definitely has a feel of being a property rented out by an agency. It is clean and nice but not cozy and thought through. The kitchen has nice appliances but no necessities. There were no cutting boards, for example. No staples either, so if you plan on cooking, make sure you bring everything! There is no aluminum foil or Saran Wrap either. There was hand soap but no shower toiletries. No Kleenex either. There were plenty of towels, so that was nice. The sheets were dark blue and had hair and white specks of something on them, so they did not appear clean. I am sure they were clean, but maybe the dryer needs to be cleaned or something? Some of the extra blankets has awful holes in them. Other than that, it is a nice spot in the wooded area, half an hour from Mackinaw city, so I good base for exploring that area.
