We are hosts by passion. After traveling extensively around the world, we decided to settle down in Melanie's hometown. It all started with the renovation of the 200-year-old barn that we inherited from our grandparents. Over seven years ago, seven incomparable holiday apartments were created in the old barn. Here, the world feels at home. But that wasn't enough – this year, we are opening our "Villa" - a new building on the same premises, which is now home to our eighth apartment, FRIZ Art.

Gundelfingen is the perfect location if you want to explore Freiburg, the Black Forest, the Kaiserstuhl region, or the nearby Alsace or Switzerland. Even Europa Park is just a 20-minute drive away. Gundelfingen itself is a village where you can find everything you need for your daily life. Restaurants, supermarkets, bakeries, and nature are all within a 2-minute walk. You can conveniently leave your car with us during your vacation – the tram is only a 7-minute walk away and will take you to the city center of Freiburg in just 15 minutes.
