The property hadn't been cleaned, pet hairs, dust and flies everywhere. This was then quickly rectified by the owner who gave us the option to stay in another barn or a refund, as it was the evening we felt forced to stay in the second barn which was spacious but again the cleanliness was lacking. We were unable to use the kettle as it was full of limescale so boiled water in pots. There was excessive cobwebs and spiders and again pet hairs on the beds and couches. The wifi cut out in the middle of a film & I appreciate it was later in the night but we didn't get a reply and went to bed. The barn itself was lovely but could definitely benefit from a good regular clean as it is a pet friendly property.
Absolutely stunning property. Every room is beautiful even the bathrooms!!
25 minute drive from Alton Towers, ideal. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful Cottage
We stayed here during a trip to Alton Towers and it was absolutely perfect. Not quite 15 minutes away, more like 25 but can't complain too much! The local pub does great food too and is just a few minutes' walk away. Beautiful rooms, clean, well stocked. Our only comment would be that you need some more wine glasses! ;)

Stunning property, beautifully decorated and very clean in gorgeous shared grounds
We stayed here for two nights as we were going to Alton Towers and we two families of four staying in one barn which was ample space, we didn't feel it was too cramped, there was lots of space. The barn was spotless! Not a cobweb in sight!! Immaculate! We were all blown away by the decor and the general layout of the property!
My only criticism is that at Alton Towers we put the sat nag on and it showed 27 minutes not 15 minutes - but it certainly didn't feel like an almost half hour drive and what awaited us made it all the more worth it 💖 :)
I would HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend these barn conversions and would most definateky return to them!
We had a welcome phone call too to check all was okay - wonderful service!
