About this property

Dove farm barns are located in the old picturesque village of Carverswall. All cottages have three bedrooms, one with en-suite and a master bathroom serving the other two bedrooms, set out as two double rooms and a twin room. Each cottage will accommodate up to 8 people, With a double sofa bed at an extra cost for the two extra guests.In Caverswall square you can regularly see the peacock roaming around.There is a local pub called the Red House where they sell local ale and food. In Caverswall itself they have there own castle which is worth a look at.

Beautiful barn conversion

We had a very comfortable stay at Dove Barn, everything was clean and well presented. The kitchen had everything we needed, the beds were comfortable and the neighbours friendly. Caverswall is a lovely area, surprised to find a castle next door! The Red House pub is a two minute walk away and the food was very good, and the portion sizes are generous. It was a perfect place to stay with our three children and dog. Highly recommend.

Weekend stay

We had a lovely weekend. Really nicely presented property with everything we needed. We enjoyed sitting outside on the picnic benches having dinner and enjoying a nice sunny evening.

Perfect location and beautiful building

Used as a relaxing base for visiting family. Beautiful furnishings and decor. A few minor little touches would have been a five star rating. Kitchen equipment, spare dishwasher tabs and loo roll. Thanks for hosting us.

Nice place to stay

Property was modern and complete to a high standard, good parking available and nice quiet area. Had a number of issues when we got there but these were rectified quickly after speaking to the owner who was very apologetic. Easy to check in and great location for Alton Towers. Only thing I would say is the ‘en-suite’ was an extra toilet with a communal shower - the only stand up shower in the property is in the en-suite so you have everyone coming through your room to shower. Other than that it was really nice and would definitely stay again.
