Upon arrival, we were informed by the staff that breakfast was temporarily unavailable at the hotel, requiring us to go to another hotel. After confirming the hotel, a 10-minute walk in the cold weather, the breakfast was available in the hotel on our fourth morning but was very basic and not worth the cost. The room provided was not the one displayed on the hotel.com website. The small windows made me feel frustrated and suffocated. The ensuite bathroom had issues with water flow and leaks. The room was small, and daily housekeeping was not provided. The sofa bed was uncomfortable, causing body pain, and appeared old. We were eventually given another room that matched the website's pictures.

Bad service during check-in, not helpful at all. No parking available when your site indicated otherwise. The 2 ladies at the reception were not helpful and not service oriented.

My original room was suffering from a dish washer issue which made it impossible to stay in. Staff was kind enough to upgrade our room and provide free breakfast. Room was clean and organised, hotel location is good, right next to the old Edinburgh town.

Gd hotel stay in convenient not so noisy district

Hotel is a 10-15mins walk from airport bus 100 drop off point. Convenient location though not in main busy district. There are many shops around for souvenirs and cafes. The palace, castle, arthurs seat, museum, shoppong district are all within walking distance from hotel. Staff are friendly and polite too. Inside hotel area is also nice. Small gym room and some cosy sitting areas. Thing is there is no house keeping unless you stay above 7 nights or more or u can pay for housekeeping. Still no issue as you can change the towels and get toilet rolls from front desk. There's very nice aromatic showel gel provided by hotel too Space in room is sufficient and there are 2 tables and chairs plus side tables for twin beds. Tv channels are good too. Small kitchenette with microwave and dishwasher. Nothing much for me to complain about. I like this hotel! Is good enough for a 4d3n stay. :) Edinburg is beautiful.

Hotel is amazing. Very trendy and with the times. Huge negative though is the service, especially Natalia. She does not know anything when asked, and kept interrupting. A friend is travelling to Edinburgh with her family. I so wanted to recommend your hotel, but with such bad service... Sadly looks is nothing when there is no soul.

Best location

Location was excellent for museums and ambience. Almost everything was within walking distance. The only negative encounter was with staff who were not familiar with local attractions and unable to give clear directions or advice. Otherwise we had a lovely stay.

Nice & comfortable service apartment near train st

Close to Waverley train station, shopping mall Nelson monument & other attractions. Clean & cozy service apartment with mordern furniture concepts similar to IKEA designs. Very homely feel. I will definitely choose this place to stay again.

Clean, modern, great breakfast for a fee, great place to stay in a heart of Edinburgh on a Royal mile, major attractions points within walking distance. One disadvantage is that they don’t clean the rooms and don’t change towels unless you request it; fee applies.
