Near metro station and financial district

Stayed here only because I wanted to be walking distance to Burj Khalifa for NYE countdown and to a metro station. The price I paid (S$300+ for 1 night) was expensive and not really worth it for the room but it was the cheapest closest I could get for 31 Dec night. Facilities were all available as an apartment and quite okay, just not worth S$300+ per night...

Bad value for money. Wifi is weak and you can connect only one device through the free wifi, for other devices you have to pay a ridiculously expensive price. Not even one complimentary bottle of water in the room. Breakfast is not good. Staff isn't friendly at all. I don't recommend this hotel at all.

Basic Level of Service

Hotel location was really good, metro station is literally at the door step. One stop away from Dubai Mall metro station and in the middle of Shiekh Zayed Road. Fixtures in room were fine though they looked a little tired and old school. Floor was not carpeted so felt cold when walking around the room. Towels need to be change cos it's already "greyish" in colour. No provision of complimentary bottled water and the mini bar in the room indicated 6 Dirham per 500 ml bottle. Went to the nearby pharmacy and it cost only 1.5 dirhams for a 1litre bottle! Wifi was not complimentary even at hotel lobby. Breakfast was basic and looked "messy" from the way they were laid out. Service was not exceptionally friendly so no impression formed

Number One Tower in Dubai - pleasant & comfortable

I stayed for 2 nights in October 2011. The hotel's staff were not friendly and forthcoming in sharing information, in terms of local attractions and amenities. The location of the hotel is convenient and the metro is situated nearby. It would have been helpful of the hotel staff to inform its customers of such amenities rather than having to explore the neighbourhood on my own. Such information could have been easily furnished to its customers upon check in. The temperature of the room appears to be fixed at a maximum of 23 degrees celcius, which is somewhat cold for me as I come from a tropical climate. The internet speed in the hotel is VERY slow and not at all high speed. Despite the above, the stay in the deluxe studio suite was pleasant and comfortable.

O ponto positivo do hotel é a localização. Alguns funcionários são bem prestativos. Os funcionários do café da manhã, também. Limpeza do quarto deixou a desejar, problemas com a reposição das toalhas, tínhamos sempre que pedir a Recepcão.
