Good quiet retreat in a small town

Quiet setting at the corner of Marysville, but 5 minutes walk to supermarket and the town centre. It was a very comfortable cottage with beautiful view. Each is a good size with a small kitchenette and a front porch to enjoy the sunrise / sunset with coffee / wine. The cottage is very clean with good amenities. Only "seemingly" downside is that there's no WIFI, but it was a very restful vacation with many hiking trails, especially to the Steavenson Falls. There are also a couple of bars and restaurants in the town centre.

Lovely stay. The cottage is beautifully designed and so spacious with a thoughtful bathroom layout. Great location in the centre of town a short walk to food options. Would happily stay again.

Arrived to check in and was met by Tracey, the owner, who promptly gave us an upgrade. The cottage was superb with a modern country chic style. The ambience was warm and cosy with the gas log fire, comfortable bed and large bathroom complete with a claw footed bath. As well tea and coffee there was hot chocolate, shortbread biscuits and chocolate bars. Just what you need after a day of exploring and hiking. We loved our stay so much we stayed an extra night. The whole complex is meticulously maintained with trees and flowers. Loved our stay and cant wait to go back. Thanks Tracey for a wondwerful experience.

Découverte très agréable de cet excellent cottage. Tous les équipements sont de qualité. La literie est très confortable . L’endroit est très calme et Tracy notre hôte tout simplement merveilleuse et attentionnée. Je la remercie encore pour l’adorable bouquet de fleurs . Si on cherche un endroit où se reposer après le tumulte de Melbourne c’est à Marysville garden cottage qu’il faut aller. Les environs sont magnifiques

Stunning Country Cottage

Beautifully presented country cottage. It is very obvious that a lot of thought and attention to detail has gone into making sure that every aspect of your stay is perfect. We found it very difficult leaving and will definitely be back for another stay.
