El Sonido del Silencio, P.N. de Guadarrama y La Pedriza

El alojamiento es una casita de nueva construcción, hecha con materiales ecológicos en su mayor parte y amueblada y decorada con cariño para que la estancia en ella sea lo más cómoda y agradable posible. La casita está dentro de nuestro jardín, pero es totalmente independiente. La parcela tiene vistas directas al Parque Nacional de Guadarrama y es un lugar muy tranquilo, de belleza espectacular.

El alojamiento consta de una planta baja con un salón/comedor con cocina y un baño, y arriba un dormitorio abuhardillado con una cama de matrimonio. Éste cuarto mide, en su parte más alta, 1,66 metros, con lo que cuidadín si hacéis el salto del tigre… En cambio, donde el sofá cama, en el salón, no hay problema, al contrario, el techo es alto.

La cocina está equipada con todo lo necesario (cocina de vitrocerámica, nevera con congelador, microondas, sartenes, cacerolas, tostadora, batidora…. ) y siempre hay algo de café, infusiones, miel ecológica, panela, aceite, vinagre, sal...

En el saloncito hay una Smart TV con sistema Android, en la que podéis elegir entre miles de películas, series o programas on line; y también tiene entradas de USB y HDMI, por si queréis traer alguno de estos dispositivos. Lo que no tiene son canales de televisión. Es decir, funciona como un ordenador, no como una TV.

Y no hay que temer a los meses fríos, porque con la estufa de pellets la casita estará bien caliente. Os explicaré su manejo, que es muy sencillo, pero si necesitáis cualquier ayuda en lo referente a la estufa (o en lo que sea), contad conmigo sin problema.

La parcela mide 840 m2, y hay distintas zonas donde estar, con lo que os dejaremos toda la intimidad que deseéis. Y si queréis que os asesore u os recomiende rutas o lugares para visitar, preguntadme, que por lo general estaré muy accesible.

En el jardín tenemos un huerto que en verano se llena de tomates, con lo que podéis aprovechar, si venís en ésta época, para haceros sabrosas ensaladas. También podéis coger frambuesas, fresas, albaricoques, ciruelas, melocotones, etc… Es un jardín bastante silvestre.

En El Boalo y alrededores se pueden realizar múltiples actividades: montañismo, senderismo, escalada (La Pedriza está a 5 minutos en coche), esquí (en invierno y primavera), BTT, hípica (hay varias hípicas muy cerca de la casita), avistamiento de rapaces o fauna salvaje, etc…

Y si preferís visitas culturales, también hay donde elegir: a 3 minutos en coche, está el Castillo de Manzanares el Real; a 30 minutos el Monasterio de San Lorenzo del Escorial; a 45 minutos La Granja de San Ildefonso… Y en 30 minutos se llega también a la Plaza de Castilla de Madrid.

Hay muy buenos restaurantes por la zona, tanto en El Boalo como en los pueblos de alrededor y si queréis que os dé información, me decís.

A 10 minutos andando, o menos, está la parada del autobús 724, que va a Plaza de Castilla, en Madrid. Y a pocos metros más,está la parada del 672 que va hasta Moncloa, en Madrid.
La verdad es que, siempre que sea posible, se aprovechará más la estancia en este entorno, si se viene con coche. Sobre todo para ir a recorrer zonas de montaña o bosques, o para hacer compra grande de comida, etc...

En las inmediaciones están la mayoría de los grandes supermercados y también pequeños negocios locales, donde podéis comprar lo necesario para la estancia. Para productos ecológicos, hay varias opciones en la zona; al igual que todo tipo de servicios.

Hay una web, en la que se pueden ver todos los eventos culturales que hay y habrá en los pueblos de la zona. Podéis echarle un ojo antes de venir (¡hay muchos eventos siempre!) y así organizaros.

The accommodation is newly constructed (2018), using, for the greatest part, environmentally friendly materials and decorated with great care so that your stay will be as comfortable and pleasant as possible. The 'cottage' is within our garden but is totally independent. The grounds offer unobstructed views of the Guadarrama National Park. The spectacular beauty of the place is further enhanced by its tranquility.

The accommodation consists of a ground floor with an open plan cooking, dining and living space as well as a bathroom. Upstairs is an attic bedroom with a double bed. This space measure, at it's highest, 1.66 metres, so you'll have to be careful if you like acrobatics in the the other hand in the living room, where the sofa bed is located, there's no problem, on the contrary, there the ceiling is high!

The kitchen is fully equipped (ceramic hob, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave, pans, blender....) and for your first breakfast you will always find something delicious so you can start the day on the right foot.

In the living area, there is a Smart TV with Android on which you can choose from thousands of films, series and shows online. It also has USB and HDMI ports if you want to bring your own devices.

And you don't have to worry about the colder months because, thanks to the wood pellet stove, you will be nice and warm, furthermore the stove works silently so you don't need to worry about that either. I will explain how it works but should you need any further help with the stove (or anything else) you can count on me, no problem.
Within the 840m2 plot, there are different areas to relax in, as such you can be sure that we will give you whatever level of privacy you wish for. And if you want advice or recommendations about walking trails or places to visit, just ask because, for the most part, I will be available to help.
In the garden we have a vegetable plot which is full of tomatoes in summer. You are free to help yourselves if you come during this time. You can also pick raspberries, strawberries, apricots, plums, peaches, quite a wild garden.

In El Boalo and the surrounding area there are plenty of activities: mountaineering, trekking, rock climbing, skiing (winter and spring), mountain biking, house riding (there are various stables very close to the house), bird watching and wildlife, etc......

And if you prefer cultural visits there also plenty to choose from: 3 minutes by car is the Castle of Manzanares, in 30 mins the Monastery of San Lorenzo del Escorial, in 45 mins La Granja de San Idelfonso in just 30 mins you can also get to Plaza Castilla in the centre of Madrid.

There are many good quality restaurants in the area, both in El Boalo and in the other nearby villages. If you want information just let me know.

Close to the house there are various big supermarkets and also small local businesses, where you can buy everything you need for you stay. For organic produce there are also several opcions to choose from.
