Villa La Pergola, Mojácar. Duerme hasta 10

La Pergola es una villa de lujo de tres dormitorios con piscina, situada en un entorno apartado y tranquilo con capacidad para 6; con un apartamento independiente en la planta baja con capacidad para 4 personas adicionales a las que se puede acceder desde la propia casa o desde su propia entrada privada.

La Pergola está exquisitamente amueblada, ubicada en 4.000 metros cuadrados de terreno privado con vistas al mar y situada entre Mojácar Pueblo, (el casco antiguo de la colina) y Mojácar Playa (la playa). Con sus numerosas terrazas y hermosos jardines, ofrece privacidad y soledad, pero se mantiene a poca distancia (10 minutos) o en automóvil (2 minutos) de la concurrida Mojácar Playa, con su abundancia de bares, restaurantes y tiendas.

Villa La Pergola ha sido bellamente restaurada y modernizada, pero conserva su encanto árabe original, que incluye vigas de roble, azulejos andaluces hechos a mano, suelo de parquet en el salón comedor de 11 mx 6 m, chimenea de piedra original de piso a techo y armarios hechos a mano y ventanas.

En la planta baja hay dos habitaciones dobles; cada una con baño privado, aire acondicionado y balcones con vistas al mar. El tercer dormitorio es una habitación doble con aire acondicionado en suite con vista al jardín y terraza al frente. Hay una cocina moderna totalmente equipada con azulejos de granito que incluye 6 quemadores de gas, hornos asistidos por ventilador Bosch y lavavajillas.

Hay un baño de lujo separado.

En la planta baja del apartamento independiente hay otra habitación doble con aire acondicionado, un salón comedor con 2 sofás de cuero grandes que se convierten en camas dobles, una cocina moderna totalmente equipada con lavavajillas, lavadero con lavadora y un baño familiar. El apartamento también tiene una entrada independiente con su propio jardín y terraza.

La Villa es muy cómoda y espaciosa y está decorada con los más altos estándares con ropa sanitaria de Villeroy & Boch y Santini en todo, y muebles de Ligne & Roset, Lombok y Aznar.

Fuera del salón hay una piscina de 10 mx 6 m, una terraza y zonas de estar (creadas y diseñadas por el arquitecto Russon Drage de Brighton) con cascada, enormes arcos y vistas al mar e iluminadas por la noche. Los muebles e iluminación contemporáneos para exteriores son de Skyline. En la zona de barbacoa en la terraza del comedor hay una barbacoa de piedra original con dosel y una moderna barbacoa de gas, así como fregadero y nevera al aire libre. Hay más muebles y asientos Skyline para 10. El huerto y la terraza tienen una zona de comedor y asientos para 6.

Hay un cuarto de servicio exterior adicional con lavadora y secadora.

Hay un gran aparcamiento privado con portones eléctricos.

Nos encanta Mojácar y hemos tenido muchas excelentes vacaciones familiares en La Pergola a lo largo de los años.

La ubicación es tranquila y tranquila a 2 minutos en coche y 10 minutos a pie del paseo marítimo (Mojácar Playa). El paseo marítimo tiene unos 7 km de largo y hay chiringuitos, cafeterías y restaurantes, pero aún permanece intacto. El complejo en sí está muy orientado a la familia y está muy ocupado con los españoles en la temporada alta.

Hay tres carriles que conducen a varias partes de Mojácar, por lo que es muy conveniente para salir por la noche y dejar el automóvil al final de uno de los carriles.

El casco antiguo (Mojácar Pueblo) se alza en lo alto de la colina mirando hacia abajo a 7 km de playas. Mojácar se encuentra entre las montañas de Sierra Cabrera y el mar Mediterráneo. El casco antiguo es cautivador con sus edificios antiguos encalados, laberinto de sinuosas calles empedradas, callejones y patios, y hay magníficas vistas de las montañas, el mar y el desierto de Taberna.

Mojácar se mantiene fiel a su legado árabe con su antigua fortaleza árabe (o la iglesia de Santa María como es ahora) y la arquitectura de la zona aún evoca un aura árabe. Según una ley aprobada en 1987, la arquitectura árabe aquí se preservará para la posteridad. Hay pequeños cafés, bares, restaurantes y tiendas en el Pueblo.

Fantastic villa

I don't normally write reviews, but just wanted to say that we had a great time at La Pergola. The property is fantastic and just as described. The hosts were incredibly helpful. Our whole family really enjoyed the vacation and will be coming again.

Perfect villa

We had a great week at this Villa. It was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. It had everything we could need or want. Communication with Terry was fantastic, and he was very accommodating. The children loved the pool, including our 2 year old who enjoyed the shallow water of the stepping stones. It's a good location for exploring the area, and we would love to stay there again.

Perfect stay

We stayed as a group of friends who wanted a week to relax and this villa was absolutely perfect. It is just beautiful and in such a good location away from the hustle and bustle but still close enough to walk to the beach or to the bars/restaurants. We made some great memories and had some great BBQs! Thanks so much

Amazing place for relaxing and enjoying the area

I was there with my family and we really enjoy the place. I guess This place carries a lot of good memories from the owners, so you can feel that from the beginning. We were looking for a place in a relax atmosphere and we got what we wanted. the swimming pool is amazing and the house was clean and tidy. An the owner was very helpful all the time. I really recommend this place!

Just Perfect in every way

The most beautiful villa any one could wish for, everything was thought of to make our stay perfect, from the very generous welcome pack to all the little things that make a home, Terry and Fran made everything so easy from the booking to the directions, and any other help needed, we had the most wonderful time, relaxing in and by the pool, eating our breakfast on the lovely patio, listening to the cicadas in the evening with a drink by the illuminated pool, Thank you so much for the best holiday ever, we will be back 😘😘😘

Great villa, will return!

My family (party of 7) stayed here for a week in August, and we loved it! The location was great, away from all the noise of the playa, but only a five minutes drive to the seafront, where there are lots of restaurants, bars, and some lovely beach areas. The villa was in excellent order, offering plenty of room for all of us - 4 adults, 3 children. The facilities were really good and the pool was lovely - brilliant waterfall feature and lights. The villa is deceptively bigger than you first think, and has some lovely grounds and seating areas with stunning views. The whole process was made very easy with the owner, Terry, in contact in the run up to the holiday. We were greeted by Craig locally and he made the arrival and departure process very easy for us. Thanks guys! We will definitely look to book this villa again when we return to Mojacar. Thanks Dave

Villa Pergola

We were 6 adults ( grandparents, adult children) & 4 children ages 3, 4, 5, & 9 yrs. The Villa was extremely comfortable, though the basement flat needed a good airing on arrival. The bedrooms were beautiful & the en-suites modern and luxurious. AC was v good. The kitchen was excellent if you cook as was the gas bbq outside. All v well equipped. Plus a lovely large table for us all to eat. V large lounge & English TV. Just used by kids in heat of afternoon. The pool table, table tennis & chess board ( integral in an outside table) were v well used. The outdoor area was spacious & v well appointed. Lovely huge outdoor sofa with canopy for shade & plenty of sun beds, though a third sun umbrella which was broken could have been useful. Great lighting in the evening for pool plus loads of pretty lights for dining area. The pool was king. The kids loved the stepping stones and everyone loved the pool. Decent shallow end, great waterfall. Wonderful. Cleaned every 3 days or so. All in all we had a great holiday with superb accommodation. The walk to the front is about 15-20 minutes, but to a decent beach at least another 10 on top of that, which is a lot in heat. Taxis are not the most reliable.. So it is good to have a car to get around. We did not realise the Villa is a bit remote. Craig & Cherie, the managers could not do enough. V helpful. Terry the owner is a great host, checking regularly on our stay. All in all highly recommended.

Bien, pero....

En conjunto la estancia ha sido satisfactoria. La cocina esta bien surtida de vajilla, utensilios de cocina... La zona exterior de la casa es agradable con diferentes ambientes, piscina, juegos, mesa para comer y una bonita piscina. En cuanto al interior de la casa hay que distinguir entre la planta principal y el apartamento del piso bajo, con un acceso incomodo con escaleras muy empinadas y un desagradable olor a humedad. Si bien Terry ha estado siempre disponible para atender nuestras llamadas, no ha podido resolver el problema con el aire acondicionado del salón que no ha funcionado en ningún momento durante nuestra estancia. Por este motivo, dado el calor en estas fechas, la vida en en el salon no ha sido agradable. Finalmente , así como agradezco el paquete de bienvenida y que permitieran la entrada antes de la hora, me ha parecido una falta de consideración, que el día en que debíamos abandonar la casa, en el momento delicado en que se esta preparando la salida, con todas las personas y equipajes por medio y antes de la hora fijada para la salida, irrumpieran en la casa los instaladores del aire acondicionado, con el argumento de que debería estar arreglado para los siguiente inquilinos. Opino que si nosotros hemos podido estar toda la semana sin que funcionara, los siguientes inquilinos hubieran podido esperar en todo caso una hora.

A very nice stay!

We had a wonderful time in La Pergola, the villa is as showed in the pictures, the communication with Terry was perfect and Mojácar is a great place to spend your holidays. The house is perfectly equipped and everything worked OK. The pool is just perfect. I would definitely recommend this villa!

Family holiday

We had the most amazing & wonderful family holiday in your fabulous villa - it was stunning. I think everyone who visits it must be wowed. It is exceptional. We have never stayed in a villa that offered so many delights. The location is beautiful & picturesque, with the sea in front and hills behind and listening to the sea as the sun set each night was blissful. There were nine of us, (6 adults & 3 children) and the spacious rooms and gardens meant we never felt on top of each other and all the little areas tucked away in the gardens were ideal for quiet moments. Inside, the villa was clean and fresh - beautifully decorated and the kitchen had everything anyone needed for preparing & cooking alfresco meals. The Welcome Pack was fantastic, so generous!! It was lovely eating in the evening, with the string lights on and the Cicada orchestra! One night the goats all came past the front gates with their neck bells chiming. The bedrooms were superb and the air conditioning ideal - it was great to have afternoon siestas on such comfy beds in the cool! Having an ensuite each was a real luxury. Our eldest daughter & her family loved the downstairs apartment with their own kitchen & utility room & the kids enjoyed crashing out on the sofa beds at night. It was nice, as the largest family group, that they could feel in their own 'home' but still be with the rest of the family in seconds. No one watched any of the numerous TV's !! As for the pool - what can we say - it was absolutely perfect! Such a unique design and stunning to look at. There was something for everyone - shallow levels for the youngsters , a deeper end for the tall adults and our 2 year old grandson claimed the stepping stones area as his own! The amazing waterfall was so refreshing and putting on the coloured pool lights at night was amazing.There were plenty of pool towels, buckets & spades & inflatables to borrow, thank you - we have added a couple of inflatables, noodles & a body board to the collection. We didn't go out as much as we thought we would. Two mornings we went down to the beach, then it was straight back to the villa pool - via the short cut road you gave us - we love that desert track, such fun!! It truly was the most perfect holiday - we loved every moment and have some wonderful family memories. Thank you so much for letting us spend time in your paradise in Mojacar, we have fallen in love with La Pergola and want to book for next year asap!!!!!!

The best villa holiday our family has had.

From start to finish “La Pergola” has the wow factor. Exceptionally finished with ergonomic and carefully thought out artistic design throughout the Villa. It is equipped with the highest quality furnishings and equipment. Truly a boutique hotel feel close to the vibe of Mojacar beach and th old town square. Usually in our 3 generational family group, Simone has a negative comment to me as organiser in chief - not this time. Well done Fran & Terry, and thanks to Nina too for making things smoother from welcome pack to farewell. Many pictures speak for themselves, but the overall is greater than the sum of the parts.

Perfect for a family holiday

The property is most attractive and fully equipped for a comfortable stay for a family group and makes for perfect outside living . There was something for everyone, when the sun got too much we had UK TV for the cricket, pool and tennis tables and of course the excellent pool. Highly recommended.

Outstanding holiday villa

We stayed at this amazing villa for one week in August and we really didn't want to leave! It really is quite beautiful and the owners have thought of absolutely everything, even gym equipment! We love th area and dined out and BBQ'd equally over the week. There is such a choice of restaurants to choose from and the information book in the villa is excellent. The owners Fran and Terry had a left a fabulous welcome pack too which was greatly appreciated. All 9 of us would love to go back in the future. Lynn, Tim, et al.

Wonderful relaxing holiday at la pergola

Spent two weeks this summer in this lovely villa. Everything you could possibly want for a really relaxing holiday and all ten of our party, with ages ranging from 12 to 72 thoroughly enjoyed it. Lovely pool and terrace, plenty of room for us all to eat outside and beautiful bedrooms. Loved the table tennis, pool and boules court and had many hours playing chess next to the pool. Great location, really peaceful, the beach being only ten minutes walk away for a dip in the sea or a drink at one of the many playa bars. Would definitely recommend for a thoroughly relaxing family holiday.

Wonderfull stay at La Pergola in August 2015

We stay two wonderfull weeks from the 1st to the 15th of august at La Pergola. It is really a great location and amazing villa with à beautiful Swimming pool, tennis table, pool table and even fitness equipement ! The house is perfectly full equiped inside and even outside, 2 Barbecues and 2 terrasses to have meals. It is very comfortable and clean to perfection with en-suite in every bedroom ! The villa is very good located between the village and the Beaches and we had really appreciated the quietness of the place. We had perfect holidays with our friends and Familly. Perfect for 12 max including 4 kids. Landlord Fran and Terry are very kind, helpful and welcoming and provide us a perfect costumer service. Also, It was great to have someone around coming to tidy the bedrooms and give a good clean on weekly basis and always available to call in case anything happens (special thanks to Steward). We would strongly recommend the villa and will definitely go again !!!

Stunning Holiday Villa

We normally spend a family holiday at La Manga Club and were pleasantly surprised to find such a well appointed villa just an hour further south. The property was beautifully and tastefully presented and the pool and leisure areas very impressive. We received an excellent welcome pack which we had not expected and even had a call from the owner during our stay to make sure that we had everything we had been promised. The information pack in the Villa was very comprehensive and together with the local agent we quickly became acquainted with the locale. I must say that Mojacar playa is very attractive with a large variety of restaurants and bars and spotless beaches. My wife and daughter enjoyed the shopping in Mojacar Pueblo and for the men there was a good variety of golf courses within easy access. We also found that local pricing was considerably less than experienced in La Manga Club. I would certainly return to La Pergola and would have no hesitation in recommending it to others.

Absolute Luxury at La Pergola

Owners who give every guest a warm welcome, a fantastic holiday start- up pack, luxurious furnishings, an exceptionally clean villa with just about every kitchen utensil and gadget you might ever need, masses of information about Mojacar and the surrounding area, a four poster king size bed and Wi-Fi too, (and that’s just the interior!)- what’s not to like? La Pergola is a very special villa with pool – we swam every day; beautiful grounds – we met Jan the gardener who even helped us to identify some local wild flowers; we saw a variety of colourful birds in the garden, too numerous to mention but..... what can we say about those beautiful bee-eaters?? There was plenty of outdoor entertainment too - boules on the lower terrace, snooker/pool on one of the verandas and table tennis on another. The house is in a good location – Mojacar new town is an easy walk, all on the flat. We walked everywhere – to the beach every morning and enjoyed coffee at Café Koi or the little sea view terrace of La Dolce Vita. Why make coffee when you can have delightful café con leche, orange juice, cakes and doughnuts all for 2 euros? We also did some hill walking, directly behind the house and sometimes further afield. Mojacar old town, La Pueblo with its Moorish influences, and lots of little antique shops, gift shops, bars and restaurants is just a short drive away. We had a fantastic fortnight in this delightful luxurious villa. We had never visited Mojacar in the Spring before but we would now highly recommend it – the flower displays and colours are just amazing. At first we thought a villa for 8 – 12 persons was a bit pricey for just the two of us but as new retirees (after many years working in local government) we felt we really deserved some luxury and this villa certainly delivered. It was worth every single penny and I look forward to returning next year…..if you’ll have us.

Amazing villa and holiday

We had a wonderful holiday in this gorgeous villa. Everything you could want is there and to lay around the pool with stunning views out to sea was amazing. The local town is split into two with a beach area with a wide variety of shops and restaurants and then there is the original old town up the hill with a different selection of shops and restaurants so spoilt for choice.

Stunning property with a traditional Spanish feel

This villa was utter luxury. We were greeted with a substantial welcome pack which made our long travelling day worthwhile! 3 families stayed in this property including 6 children for 11 nights. The children enjoyed playing in the pool and especially loved the light show in the pool area on an evening. The outdoor eating area was nicely lit with ample BBQ facilities. Car is essential for dining out or sightseeing. We truly enjoyed our stay and would recommend the villa to families/ friends. Mr and Mrs G Watson

Beautiful villa - utter luxury!

My husband and I stayed at this wonderful villa for our honeymoon and from the moment we arrived, we were overwhelmed! The villa is stunning, set in the beautiful town of Mojacar and we fell in love with the place. Upon arrival, we greeted by Paul, who was so helpful in showing us how everything worked. We also found the Welcome Pack to be a lovely touch and was full of useful information. The villa is huge and is decorated beautifully and we immediately felt at home. The master bedroom has a sea view and waking up to that every morning was a delight! The pool area is lovely, with plenty of comfortable sunbeds and we spent many days here, relaxing and sipping champagne. The beach is gorgeous and we enjoyed spending our nights at the many lovely restaurants and beach bars. The area has a lovely local feel to it and everyone was so welcoming to us. We also loved the old town – Mojacar Pueblo, which is steeped in history. Full of lots of lovely little shops, cafes and restaurants, we spent our time overlooking the amazing scenery, simply breathtaking. We had a wonderful time at La Pergola and can’t recommend it highly enough, it is sheer bliss.

The opportunity to buy the larger La Pergola came up and we decided to buy as we loved the area so much and the larger house would accommodate our growing family more easily.
