Posh Pod - Pine camping pod with zip-and-link beds, allowing for a double or twin format.
All include a 2-seater sofa, electric socket, coffee table, kettle and heater.
All bedding is included, including throws, but guests are advised to bring their own towels.
Cups are provided, but only Posh Pods include drinks. Guests are advised to bring their own drinks, towels, crookery, cutlery and fire wood, although we do have an emergency supply to purchase.
Lights and electric available (limited wattage).
Please note this unit only accommodates adults.
Pets can be only accommodated in standard Pods, not Posh Pods, The Yurt or The Cabin.

The Little Hide Adult Only Camping Pods, are the perfect place to spend a few nights, nestled in the Yorkshire countryside, but only minutes from the heart of the City of York.

We have a bunch of really great camping pods, a Chic Cabin and Nomadic Yurt, all fully furnished, so all you have to do is turn up and relax!

Our camping pods are unique – they were designed by us and are perfect for a short break!

Pets can stay in 6 of the pods, but all other units are kept allergy free.

Willow House Caravan Park and The Little Hide are both child free sites, making them perfect for a few quiet nights away, with some of Europe’s best restaurants and sights on the doorstep!

Very pleasant stay

Stayed overnight at little hide glamping. Cozy and comfortable and location is just perfect for a quiet getaway. Will definitely come back in the future. Highly recommended.

Pod smelt strongly of smoke

Great location, pod smelt of smoke. First thing we noticed as we walked in. Only one tea bag for the whole weekend stay. No where to hang damp towels after using the shower facilities. Overal a good place to stay not sure if it was worth the price tag..

Very relaxing and a great way to get away from it all.

The bed was very comfortable and the interior design was perfect. Special mention to the duvet as it was fabulous. The hide ‘dove’ was very warm as well.

Fantastic retreat and no hassle Check in

Lovely one night stay

We stayed here for one night when Covid lockdown rules were relaxed. Self check in so no contact needed and clean, cosy pod. Overall a nice, simple get away.

Brilliant find ... just dont bother about paying extra for tea/coffee facilities

As two burnt out teachers/mums/wives, we decided to get away for a three day/2 night rest and relaxation break.The camp was easy to find and provided a great base for everything we wanted to do in the area.

Celebration of 1 Year Dating Anniversary

We were wanting somewhere to stay but where we could also go out. The Little Hide was a perfect location with only a short drive to park and ride and also close to a near by location with plebty of food locations so no need to bring everutbibg to cook with. Also had breakfast before heading home too bear by and also tried the cafe. Very clean and we hope to come back least annually and have recommended to friends and family.

Amazing little getaway

Arrived mid afternoon to a self check in service which was really different but cool. We had a look around to then find our pod was at the back overlooking the other pods which was nice. We entered the code given on the slip of paper which released our key for the pod. We walked in and just loved it wasn’t as small as I thought still spacious and plenty of room to walk around. The bed was really comfy and the heater given was brilliant. Bbq and fire pits were provided and it was just great.

Lovely little pod

It was nicely decorated and in a great location, some cobwebs and was extremely cold when you first arrive, however you can’t really help this. Perhaps if you ring a head they may turn the heating on to warm it up before your arrival. Toilet block was old and needed some love, but still did the job. Didn’t have any contact with staff so cannot comment, however a more personal touch would have been nice

Quiet and relaxing

Very good value for money experience. Very strict on rules. If I was to improve anything I would say the water pressure is very low and that the descriptions when booking should state that reception is unmanned.

The Little Hide is owned by Donna, who after travelling the world with her work, decided she wanted to spend some more time at home, and the Glamping site allowed her to do that.

The Caravan Park is owned by her uncles and was the perfect location for The Little Hide!

Kirsty is the General Manager of The Little Hide and has embraced the site as her own, she loves making the place look nice and keeps it spotlessly clean!
