Villa Blanca es una propiedad de más de 50.000 m2.
La casa cuenta con unos 900 m2, distribuidos en tres plantas, construida en 1909. Restaurada varias veces, la última se realizó en el 2015.
Fue construida por el corredor de bolsa, Marcelino Coll, luego vendida a Juan Pich i Pon, alcalde de Barcelona y presidente de la Generalitat de Catalunya. Pich i Pon ajardinó la propiedad con Nicolas Forestier y su discípulo Rubió i Tudurí.
En 1940 el abuelo de los actuales propietarios, compró la propiedad a la viuda de Pich.
Además de los mencionados jardines, hay zona de tenis, frontón, aro de baloncesto, piscina de 17 x 7 metros, zona de parking para 15 coches.
Se han rodado varias películas (Red Lights, Las manos del pianista, Barcelona Ciutat Neutral, Felipe y Letizia, etc., así como spots publicitarios).

Fabulous Experience

The mansion was even better than the pictures portray. Besides the many updated bedrooms and bathrooms, we discovered a chapel and elevator. The grounds are magnificent. The owners are very friendly and and responded immediately to my pre-trip acquisition of a chef, gifts for our guests, and other neessities.

I can't say enough good things about the property. We had a small wedding celebration on the property and stayed there with our friends. I'm thankful to Carina, Cristina the cook and just the beauty of it all. It was a memorable stay for everyone.

Lovely house perfect for larger groups

The house really had what we needed. We were using the pool and tennis court every day! Large comfortable rooms and a well equipt kitchen. I can really recommend it! Very friendly and helpful property Manager as well.

Second Home

I have rented over 25 houses over the years with 10 to 16 adults, and Villa Blanca is one of the best. The public rooms are old world stunning, bedrooms large and airy, and the grounds vast and beautifully maintaned. The owner, Carina, is a delight to deal with. We would love to rent the property again.

Spain Gang Family Celebration

We spent a week at Villa Blanca with 19 family members to celebrate a milestone birthday. The Villa and the grounds were just beautiful and very well equipped with everything we needed for an extraordinary family adventure. Carina and Pedro were extremely responsive and helpful. We spent several evenings enjoying the Villa for family dinners, we invited a Flamenco teacher to teach us to dance and we did yoga on the veranda overlooking the ocean. It was the perfect place to enjoy each other and yi discover some of the manic of Spain at the same time. I hope we have an opportunity to stay again! Thank you!

Amazing Villa

The Villa was absolutely amazing. We visited with 27 people and one child. We had a lot of fun with basketball, tennis, the pool and the sea. In the evening we cooked together and sat outside long into the night talking and listening to music. Everything was perfect and Carina took good care of us.

Perfect friends getaway

22 adults & children celebrating a birthday. Amazing property. Plenty of space for everyone. Comfortable beds & crisp bedding. Beautiful views of the Coast & huge gardens to relax in. Supermarket nearby & about a 20 minute walk to coast & lots of seaside restaurants to choose from. The owner Christina was caring & quick to answer any questions. Had an excellent boat trip & wine trip organised & catering 2 nights which everyone enjoyed. 25 minute walk to train station & about 50 minutes into Barcelona. Hope to revisit one day

The most incredible trip

It is hard to put into words how incredible our stay at Villa Blanca was. My husband and I decided to have our small, intimate wedding ceremony there with 25 of our closest friends and family. We stayed at the Villa for four days and truly had the time of our lives. The property is truly immaculate. Each room is charming, beautiful and comfortable. There are unique features everywhere! The gardens and pool were an absolute delight. We were able to walk down to the beach and enjoy some local bars and restaurants as well. For our wedding, we used several vendors that Carina recommended and they were all exceptional. We had several meals catered by Cris, whose food was delicious. We also had a wine tasting hosted by Jordí. Our guests absolutely loved this. We also had our dance party hosted by DJ Josep who has done many weddings at Villa Blanca before. All of these people helped make our experience unforgettable. Carina was extremely helpful and made sure we had everything (literally, everything!) we could have possibly needed. Our guests can’t stop talking about how incredible our trip was. We will never forget our amazing stay at Villa Blanca, and we hope to return one day!

A Dream Vacation

We stayed at Villa Blanca for 2 weeks in July. The first week was with our children and grandchildren, 25 people altogether. The second week was with my 3 sisters, their spouses and children, 15 people. Both weeks were fabulous and memorable. Our groups like exploring new places as well as sports, pool time and games. The villa is great for both. The access to Costa Brava beaches and to Barcelona allowed for easy exploring and daytrips. Guests swam (the pool is perfect - big, clean, good temperature, sparkling water), played tennis, pickle ball, boule, and more. Carina was always accessible and helpful. Her catering recommendation - Cristina - and activity planner - Borja - were great. Flamenco dancers at the house on our last night were amazing and and a perfect way to end a trip of a lifetime. Can't wait to return.

An amazing Mediterranean Holiday!!!

We are a group of 19 active friends ages 18-72, including one in a motorized wheelchair, who travel internationally each summer. Our preferred lodging accommodations are large villas, castles, or estates and Villa Blanca is one of the finest we have experienced. Pablo, Carina, and their son Christian were exceptional in accommodating our special needs and in sharing the rich history of the property and the region. Pablo is a renowned collector of rare books and we spent a delightful evening examining centuries old originals while enjoying marvelous local wines. From the time we initially contacted Pablo though our last evening, we were made to feel more like visiting family than rental property clients. While there we enjoyed breakfast each morning and four evening meals prepared by Christina, the chef serving Villa Blanca. One of the meals was a cooking school where we learned to prepare paella and accompanying dishes. She is fantastic. Other meals we enjoyed at the many restaurants along the beach, easily walkable from the villa and most accessible from the esplanade. In addition, we were able to order food and drinks online for delivery to the villa from the local supermarket, AlCampo. This was especially handy for having basic provisions onsite when we arrived. Local transportation was available via local taxis for the immediate area and the local train station was about 1km away. Barcelona via the train is about 45 minutes. For accessible transportation we used AccessibleSpainTravel.com, which was excellent. Daniel organized independent and accessible mini-bus travel for our group for trips into Barcelona, Montserrat, and from/to the airport. (During our holiday we also spent several days in Madrid and Daniel organized travel there as well.) Pablo assisted with the accessible bookings on the Spain Railway (RENFE) for our travel between Madrid and Barcelona which should be organized as early as possible. Spain offered great value for the costs especially when compared to other European destinations. All in all it was a delightful experience, thank to the wonderful friends we made in organizing our travels. As Pablo remarked, "It is often through commerce that great friendships originate."

Das Anwesen spricht für sich. Fantastische Villa mit historischer Vergangenheit. Super Lage an der Costa Maresme. Barcelona, das Meer, die Berge.... die perfekte Lage. Great times at Villa Blanca

The whole family (20 pax) stayed at the Villa for a week and had a fantastic time. Carina was a lovely host and whatever trouble occured (the elevator stopped working several times) she was there to get it fixed asap. The house is old and many furniture are vintage, so there are a lot of rules, but to us that was just a quirk that was a part of the experience and not a problem at all. Just a part of choosing a unique house with a lot of history and personality.

Fabulous and relaxing vacation

Villa Blanca truly is incredible, and it was the perfect home base for a relaxing vacation with my large group of family+friends. The property itself has so much character and beauty and was also very clean and well-maintained. Perfect location that is an easy walk to the uncrowded beach (sandy with clear turquoise water - I could see fish swimming around my feet!) and grocery store. Carina was a pleasure to work with and her recommendations for a private chef (Cris), yoga instructor (Laura), tours /excursions (Borja), and babysitters were spot on.

Amazing stay

My friends and I stayed here for a long weekend and everything was absolutely brilliant. The house and grounds are absolutely stunning and are even more beautiful than the listing suggests. The hosts are so kind and helpful and were very easy to communicate with in the run up to and during our stay. Nothing was too much trouble and they answered all of our questions quickly. The surrounding area is also beautiful and it’s only a short walk to the supermarkets and the beach. We really recommend a stay here and hope to be back again ourselves. Thank you for an amazing stay!

Amazing!

The house was amazing and the service was 5++++stars . Our leadership team stayed here for 1 week. The host was amazing and super helpful. She was able to go shopping for us, help with restaurant reservation, organized Covid testing onsite, car services from and to the airport... We were really really happy with everything. Would recommend!

A perfect get-away

We booked the Villa Blanca for a 50-year birthday with family and friends. We were 25 people in total and the villa perfectly accommodated all of us with its spacious layout. The history and spacious layout allowed us all to have a great stay. Carina was very responsive to all our requests and Cristina took perfectly care of all catering during our stay. The food was very delicious and we enjoyed every bit of it during breakfast and dinner. Wow!! Thank you Carina and Christina for making our stay one to remember. Estoy súper contento así como mis amigos que han venido de todas partes para celebrar conmigo mis 40 cumpleaños. Hemos estado un fin de semana de viernes a lunes y ha sido inmejorable. La villa es perfecta, la casa tiene todo lo que puedas necesitar, la propietaria Carina súper amable y nos ha ayudado en todo lo que hemos necesitado. Las habitaciones y lavabos impecables, la piscina fantástica, la verdad que poder estar en un casa como esta con jardines, una zona verde considerable y vistas al mar estando tan cerca de Barcelona es una suerte grande. Tb tienen una conexión increíble con Cristina , una private chef increíble que nos ha preparado la cena del cumple, ha sido una maravilla 100% recomendable . Nos fuimos con ganas de quedarnos.

Paradise!!

Our family of 19 stayed at the property for one week. Communication with the owners Carina and Pablo was excellent prior to the stay and throughout the visit. The grounds are beautiful and very well maintained as is the house. There was plenty of room to spread out. We especially enjoyed the back patio area and that is where people hung out most of the time. Access to the train into Barcelona is a beautiful 25 minute walk along the ocean. There is also a bus for those who prefer not to walk or drive. The views from all the rooms are breathtaking: ocean and greenery. We hired Cristina, a local cook, to prepare 3 dinners during our stay. She also is excellent and we were able to communicate with her prior to arrival to select menus. Overall, I can not recommend this home too highly. You will not be disappointed if you decide to stay here.

April stay at Villa Blanca

What a wonderful week in a beautiful setting! Villa Blanca lived up to it’s description and more. The house was spacious and comfortable for our family group of 23 adults. There were multiple inside and outside spaces for us all to spread out for inside and outside games, dining inside and out as well as wonderful walks around the property. The owners were responsive to any of our needs and helpful in arranging for other services. We used Cris for 3 wonderful meals as well as buying groceries for the house. We also were able to arrange a trip to Montserrat and a family vineyard. There were also taxis available. The setting was perfect for train travel to Barcelona and Girona, walks along the Mediterranean and drinks on the beach. Everyone in our group was amazed at such a lovely venue and would recommend it highly to other large groups. Thank you to Carina and Pablo for sharing your lovely home and property with us!

A wonderful birthday weekend in a wonderful house with wonderful owners and a wonderful chef!

We filled Villa Blanca with family and friends for a long weekend for a big birthday celebration. We had been let down by accommodation in central Barcelona so I was forced to look further out - I have to thank the city owners for doing us the most serendipitous of favours - Villa Blanca was a find! The Villa is beautiful inside and out, from top to bottom. It more than lives up to the photos . My guests and I were thrilled. There are rooms and spaces to come together and rooms and spaces to have some solo time. The pool is large and well equipped (and although cold was very well used by us all) with horses and chickens just outside the surrounding hedges. Carina and Pablo, the owners, couldn’t have been more responsive, friendly and efficient. Carina was patient and helpful as our numbers and permutations changed, including the possible provision for a disabled member of the family (there is a lift so mobility is no issue). Pablo sourced great wine and cava at a very reasonable price for us and both welcomed us with great warmth. I would highly recommend the local private chef, Cristina Parés of Criscooks. The food was stunning and the prices very reasonable for the great standard of the food. The smells emanating from the kitchen on the two days she cooked for us were enticing. Cristina and her daughters catered for the 5-6 course celebration dinner with extra guests and musicians and they didn’t falter, despite us not fitting into any predicted timings! They were always calm and smiling. Cristina even organised the self catering groceries which were waiting for us when we arrived. We did a day trip into Barcelona and although we all had cars we hired a coach from Borja, contacted via Carina and Pablo, to take us into the city. It worked out at about 20€ each and was well worth not having the hassle of the city’s traffic and parking. I can’t recommend Villa Blanca highly enough. We didn’t want to leave and we all want to return.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

Villa Blanca es una casa señorial con vistas al mar Mediterráneo. Ubicada en la Costa Maresme, con una temperatura mínima entre primavera y otoño de 10 grados Celsius y una temperatura máxima de aproximadamente 30 grados Celsius.
La casa se encuentra en una propiedad cerrada de 5 Ha, a 40 Km de Barcelona. Fue construida por un agente de bolsa, Marcelino Coll, y posteriormente vendida a Joan Pich i Pon, alcalde de Barcelona y Presidente de la Generalitat.
Está rodeada de magníficos y románticos jardines diseñados por el famoso arquitecto Jean-Baptiste Nicolas Forestier. Fue construida en 1909 y está catalogada como 'edificio protegido'por el Gobierno Autonómico de Catalunya.
La Fundación Medioambiental garantiza desde años la Bandera Azul a las fantásticas playas de Sant Vicenç de Montalt y de Caldes d'Estrac por la alta calidad de sus estándares. La propiedad está muy bien conectada tanto en tren como en coche con Barcelona ciudad y la Costa Brava.
Es muy relajante poder pasear por todos los rincones del jardín, disfrutar de los estanques, senderos, pérgolas, árboles centenarios y flores; casi como en un jardín botánico.
La casa ha sido restaurada en varias ocasiones, conservando el estilo original y decorada con valiosos muebles antiguos.
Cuenta con varios halls, salas de estar y comedores interiores y exteriores, lo cual permite disfrutar de gran privacidad a grupos grandes.
Es una casa con amplias ventanas y muy luminosa, con techos de más de 4m de altura y fresca en los meses más calurosos.
En la finca se pueden practicar numerosas actividades: tenis, frontón, natación, basket, montar a caballo, ping-pong, jogging y patinaje sobre ruedas.
Hay dos clubs de golf muy cerca de Villa Blanca, así como club náutico, pitch&putt, gimnasio, pádel e instalaciones de hidroterapia.
A sólo 7 Km se está la ciudad de Mataró donde se pueden encontrar numerosas tiendas, centros comerciales, hoteles, hospitales...

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Es una casa con mucha historia y encantadora. Muy cómoda, amplia y luminosa, preparada para albergar a grandes grupos y con una ubicación estratégica: cerca de la playa, cerca de Barcelona y cerca de la Costa Brava.
