Esta es una gran villa independiente, recientemente reformada y decorada con buen gusto en un estilo rústico. Muy hogareño; era, hasta hace poco, la casa de ensueño de los propietarios. Situado en una tranquila zona residencial, a poca distancia de tiendas, restaurantes, bares y la playa. ¡Simplemente perfecto para unas vacaciones relajantes!

La piscina, jardín y terraza reciben la luz del sol prácticamente todo el día y están rodeados de altos muros para su privacidad. La terraza tiene muebles de comedor y una barbacoa y es perfecto para comer al aire libre! Hay muchas flores, un césped y un estanque. La terraza de la azotea goza de una amplia vista al mar y es ideal para disfrutar de la puesta de sol.

La villa dispone de 4 dormitorios y 2 baños, un salón muy atractivo, un elegante comedor con vistas al jardín, piscina y el mar a través de amplias puertas de cristal y una enorme cocina, totalmente equipada. Gran parte de la casa tiene aire acondicionado (4 unidades) y hay wi-fi y TV (TV Español, Movistar (películas, documentales, series, programas infantiles, TV regional), TV inglés .

CALA'N PORTER
Cala'n Porter es una urbanización turística encantadora, ideal para familias y parejas. Tiene una playa preciosa, a unos 12-15 minutos a pie o a 3 minutos en coche. La playa es muy segura, ideal para niños. El agua del mar es cristalina, de un bello color turquesa y es ideal para hacer esnórquel. Hay tumbonas, sombrillas y barcas a pedales para alquilar en la playa. Es el centro del kayak de Menorca, con varias empresas que ofrecen kayaks tanto para alquiler privado como para excursiones guiadas visitando las numerosas cuevas a lo largo de la costa. También se puede alquilar lanchas.

Hay muchos restaurantes y bares en el centro, que está a 10 minutos a pie (poco más de media milla). Varios de ellos ofrecen una variedad de entretenimiento en vivo por la noche. Sin embargo, la villa se encuentra en una ubicación tranquila.

A menos de diez minutos a pie se encuentra "Sa Cova d'en Xoroi" una cueva natural en una ubicación espectacular a media altura del acantilado con bares y terrazas, que se puede visitar durante el día, disfrutar de la sesión de puesta de sol o ir a la extraordinaria discoteca que hay allí (abierta desde finales de junio hasta mediados de septiembre). Desde la villa no se puede escuchar la música de la discoteca.

Hay un servicio de autobús a la capital de Menorca, Mahón, a 25 minutos. Hay excursiones en barco por el impresionante puerto de Mahón, un mercado al aire libre dos o tres días a la semana, un mercado de artesanía por la noche con música en vivo una vez a la semana (junio-septiembre), bares de tapas y muchos restaurantes. Desde Mahón hay conexiones de autobús a la mayoría de los demás lugares de la isla, incluida la magnífica antigua capital, Ciutadella.

MENORCA, ISLA PARAÍSO
Menorca es uno de los pocos lugares del mundo que es a la vez Reserva de la Biosfera y Patrimonio de la Humanidad. Uno de los grandes atractivos de la isla es que no se ha visto estropeada a diferencia de tantos lugares del Mediterráneo. El 68% de la isla está totalmente protegida. Varias de las playas vírgenes de la isla se encuentran entre las más hermosas del mundo.

Además, Menorca cuenta con la mayor concentración de monumentos prehistóricos de Europa, algunos de los cuales son exclusivos de la isla y, por ello, han sido reconocidos como Patrimonio de la Humanidad.

Menorca también ha sido declarada Reserva Starlight y es un lugar maravilloso para observar las estrellas.

En primavera y otoño hay muchos paseos hermosos que se pueden disfrutar. A poca distancia a lo largo de la costa se encuentra Cales Coves, una cala virgen rodeada de cuevas prehistóricas, ideal para explorar o para nadar desde la orilla. En la otra dirección hay un hermoso paseo a lo largo del valle bordeado de árboles frutales detrás de la playa.

EN COCHE
Ningún lugar está a más de una hora en coche de la villa, por lo que con un coche se puede visitar muchas playas hermosas, elegantes pueblos, pueblos de pescadores, Monte Toro (el punto más alto de la isla), antiguas fortalezas y monumentos prehistóricos.

Excellent property, wonderful hosts, perfect holiday!

We had a lovely week staying at the villa at the end of October. Francis and Maica are very attentive and helpful hosts. Menorca is a beautiful island and the villa was the perfect location to explore the island. Thank you for everything.

Wonderful time in this beautiful place

The property was immaculate. Everything was clean, tidy, organised and just as you would expect thoutful and caring hosts to have it. The pool was lovely and clean and the surrounding area clearly safe so for a family with young children - perfect! The only problem we all had was that the holiday came and went all too quickly but we all relaxed and felt very refreshed when we returned to England. Francis was most helpful whilst we were there, providing maps, clear directions and also advice as to good places to visit. He and his wife clearly take pride and care in what the do and at no point did we feel unwelcome! Thank you both for allowing us to come and stay and we definitely put this top of our list of places we have stayed compared to other properties like this. We hope to come back again one day!

Extremely friendly hosts

The villa is purely beautiful with a very cosy decor and fabulous garden. Children enjoyed playing in the pool a lot and exploring the roof terrace . The area is very safe and quiet with short commute to the town and the beach. Excellent place for a peaceful vacation. Our hosts were extremely friendly , flexible and supportive. Highly recommend.

Fantastic family villa

The house is absolutely beautiful, and perfect for a relaxing family holiday. Loads of space and the garden is such a lovely space. The town centre is a 10 minute walk and has a supermarket that delivers for free, there are numerous bars and restaurants that cater to British tourists, it’s not quite an authentic Spanish experience. However, the capital of Mahon is far more cosmopolitan and had a brilliant port with great boat trips. I would recommend renting a car (which was super easy and worked out at about 30 euros a day from Bini cars) and visiting the amazing beaches that Menorca has to offer. The local beach is amazing and super kid friendly, and the beaches of Cala Galdana are a 25 minute drive away which is wonderfully tree lined. All in all a great holiday, we were lucky to have a chat with Francis about the island and Menorca one night. I would asbsolutely recommend this villa for your next stay.

A great villa with a lovely pool

This is a lovely villa with a fantastic pool and roof terrace. The grill and outdoor eating area are perfect and the location is very quiet but still close enough to the town and beach to walk to. Francis and Maria are attentive hosts and responded to one request we made with great speed! We had a fantastic time and would like to that Francis and Maria for allowing us to stay in their beautiful home.

Lovely family holiday

Our family of seven had a weeks stay at this lovely villa. Francis and Maica greeted us and warmly and showed us around. A lovely big kitchen a great outside area with bbq. Lovely garden and pool and outside eating area that we made good use of. A very hot week for us, and the walk into the centre of town was better in the slightly cooler evenings. Great places to eat and be entertained in the town. We all thoroughly loved our stay. Thank you

Family holiday

Lovely villa with fantastic outdoor space

A real home away from home with all the amenities we needed for our stay. The villa has a fantastic outdoor space with pool, garden, bbq and dining area. Francis was a pleasure to deal with over email and when we arrived. He was very helpful with recommendations and was on hand if any issues arose (not that any did). Would definitely recommend to friends/family and would love to stay again.

Lovely villa with a personal touch

We stayed here for a week; four adults and two young children. When we arrived we had a warm welcome and the villa was absolutely spotless. Things that set this villa apart from others: • We dealt directly with the owners face-to-face; it was nice to meet them in person after contact through email. They have an obvious deep love of the villa which shows through the attention to detail. • Other villas don’t have the personal touch of this one. All the pictures, ornaments, together with standard of kitchen make it feel so homely. • The outside space is something else. What attracted us to it was not a soulless tiled area with a pool, but a space filled with plants, flowers and trees. The smell when we stepped into the garden was amazing. It’s also a haven for wildlife which we particularly enjoyed. If we returned to Menorca and Cala En Porter, we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Erholsamer Urlaub in toller Villa

Wir waren im September 1 Woche in der Villa und haben es sehr genossen. Das Haus ist in sehr gepflegtem Zustand und freundlich in der Einrichtung. Leider gibt es die Palme nicht mehr (wurde von Käfern aufgefressen), dafür hat der Pool jetzt ganztägig Sonne. Besonders gut hat uns die Terasse mit Grill gefallen, auf der sich jeden Morgen toll mit Blick auf Pool und Garten frühstücken lässt. Die Dachterasse lädt zum ungestörten Sonnenbad ein und bietet Blick auf das Meer. Bitte mit der Villa sorgfältig umgehen (sie ist es wert), wir haben gehört dass einige Gäste einen Saustall hinterlassen sowie Gegenstände aus Bad und Küche entwendet haben. Leider waren bei uns in der Küche so gut wie keine Gewürze oder grundlegende Lebensmittel wie Essig/Öl vorhanden, daher dies im nahen Supermarkt einkaufen und die Reste da lassen damit sich nach und nach eine Grundausstattung bilden kann :). Francis ist sehr freundlich und gibt viele Tipps für die Umgebung. Generell ist es auch eine tolle Lage, da man von hier mit dem Mietwagen schnell nach Alaior oder Mahon kommt. Alles in allem haben wir den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und können die Villa sehr empfehlen!

Home from Home

We arrived at the villa and was met by Francis who showed us around the villa and give us tips and things to do in cala en porter. We were a family of 8 (3 grown up, 2 teens and 3 little ones and there was plenty of room. The pool was a nice size and the grandchildren were in it all day. Had a lovely view on the roof terrace of the sea and watched a number of sunsets. The little ones didn't want to leave they loved the villa and pool. We have stay in a few villas over the years and I must say yours was one of the best. It was like home from home and the garden was a pleasure to sit in during the day and evening looking at all the wonderful flowers. Once again thankyou for letting us use your home.

‘Best holiday ever' was a comment from my granddaughter!

We were a party of 9 and had a wonderful week staying at this lovely villa with its large pool which drew the children like a magnet. They couldn't wait to get back to the pool when we went out for the day - even when they'd happily spent hours in the sea. Francis was extremely helpful, arranging our transfers both from and back to the airport and giving us lots of tips about the surrounding area. There is a very comprehensive information folder at the villa which is definitely worth reading at the start of the holiday. The gardens are a treat and well maintained and the roof terrace offers wonderful views as well as being the perfect place to dry off all the wet towels! Our favourite meal was at ‘Big Al’s’ but we also enjoyed the food at several other restaurants most of which are situated in the centre – about 10 minutes’ walk from the villa. We enjoyed the evening entertainment tribute acts at the Sa Paissa Hotel and also the trio playing at the Irish Bar. We found Francis and Maica to be the perfect hosts, Francis being readily available at the other end of the pone should we need him. I would certainly recommend this property.

Great villa with lovely pool

Had a fantastic week at the villa. The owners were so helpful and made us feel very welcome. The villa was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. The beach,bars and shops were in walking distance. We were two families with young children and the villa and resort were perfect. Hopefully we’ll return in the future. Wonderful villa with a nice size pool, pretty gardens as nice to have lots of seating outside.

We had a wonderful stay here with the family we loved the pool and the villa inside and out. We all felt at home. The roof terrace was lovely we watched the sunset every evening. The owners of the villa very kind and friendly. The pool was always clean. Overall this was a lovely place to stay we loved the island of menorca would recommend. We would love to come back. The children also had the best time here.

Great family holiday in Cala’n Porter

This was our second visit to this lovely villa and we found it every bit as good as we remembered it from our first visit .On this occasion we were joined by our daughters and their husbands and children to enjoy a whole family holiday . The villa was very comfortable and well equipped. Much of our time was spent in the garden, enjoying the marvellous pool which is kept immaculately by Francis ,the owner , or on the terrace which has a comfortable dining area with barbecue and swinging seat .The garden maintained by Maica , the other owner was a delight with many beautiful flowers plants and bushes . This was a real delight in the Mediterranean which often can be less verdant . The villa was slightly on the edge of town which was lovely as it was very private and quiet . All in all it was a smashing holiday and we’ll certainly like to return for a third holiday in the near future

My Home is my Castle

Wir haben uns sehr wohl in dieser von vielen Blumen und Pflanzen liebevoll gepflegten, sauberen und ruhigen Villa gefühlt. Die Ruhe und Gelassenheit der Menorquiner zu dieser Jahreszeit ist wirklich toll. Das Wetter war leicht unbeständig, wie in Deutschland auch. :-) Wir würden zu einem Mietwagen raten, da die Strassen gut ausgebaut sind. Alle Städte sind nicht mehr als Stunde oder weniger entfernt, man würde sonst etwas verpassen. Vielen Dank, Francis und Maica !!!

Vine a Menorca a cuidar de mis padres ancianos que se habían jubilado aquí y luego me enamoré no sólo de esta hermosa isla, sino también de la enfermera española que me ayudaba a cuidar a mis padres !! Estamos casados y con un hijo adolescente y trabajo como un guía turístico. Fundé la compañía Jeep Safari Menorca, que aunque exitosa decidí de vender para tener más tiempo con mi familia. A veces trabajo con el nuevo propietario como conductor-guía.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

Era nuestro casa y hogar, pero cuando decidimos movernos a la bella localidad de Alaior para estar más cerca de la escuela de nuestro hijo y a mi trabajo, decidimos de mantenerlo como un alquiler vacacional. Pasabamos muchas vacaciones fantásticas aquí y a mi y a mi esposa nos encanta cuando nuestros huéspedes también lo pasan muy bien aquí.
Menorca es una isla preciosa, y además es muy tranquilo y muy seguro.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Esta casa tiene aquel sentimento o ambiente de hogar que tantos alquileres vacacionales faltan. Mi esposa disfruta de la decoración y de la jardinería y ella creó para toda su familia esta casa tan agradable .
Aparte de todo esto, goza de una gran piscina privada, un hermoso jardín, vistas espectaculares y se encuentra en una zona tranquila de la localidad. Sin embargo, está a un paseo corto del centro.
