Private log Cabin rental 1 hour west of Edmonton
2 bedroom. One private room with door and the other is a loft. 2 queen beds, wood fired hot tub, woodstove, swimming pond, kayaks, canoe. Outdoor fire pit with games, walking trails and open year round. Ice skating, snow shoeing, pond hockey in the winters.

One of a kind escape, perfect for romantic getaways or bringing the whole family.

Kitchen comes with all cookware, just bring drinks and food/condiments, Also has a barbecue for use.

Sleeps 4, will allow more at $50 per person per night.

Pet friendly $25 per stay, per dog. They MUST stay off the furniture and clean up after them. Mandatory fee, no exceptions.

Check-in is at 3pm, check out is 11am

Truly Wonderful!!

What an exceptional property to stay at!! Our host was so welcoming & responsive to any questions we had. We thoroughly enjoyed the peace and quiet of the lovely cabin while my cousin & i had a chill girl's weekend. We enjoyed the family of deer we saw in the morning & one very large moose at the edge of the clearing, plus all the different birds in the area. We were also graced a visit by the local cat. After a long hike on a windy spring day, that hot tub was the best way to warm up and relax.We couldn't have asked for anything more!! I know we will definitely be coming back here.10/10 experience all around!!

What an amazing place to get away!

Chris was super friendly and very communicative throughout our stay. The cabin was warm when we got there and he stocked up the hot tub every day. What an amazing place to get away from TV and internet for a few days. The kids loved it!

Weekend getaway

This cabin in the woods was exactly what we needed. It was peaceful and relaxing. We loved skating until our heart’s content then warmed up in the hot tub. The cabin was perfect especially with the wood burning fireplace. Chris was an amazing host!

Relaxing weekend

This is a great place to relax. Enjoyed sitting by the wood stove, and relaxing in the hot tub. Chris is very freindly and a great host.

Peaceful private getaway

Really enjoyed our time at the cabin! The surroundings are perfect for relaxing and reconnecting with your loved ones and nature. Thoroughly enjoyed skating on the pond and then warming back up in the hot tub. Evenings spent playing games and reading books by the fire. Looking forward to our next stay here!

Quaint & Peaceful

This was exactly what we needed as a family to reconnect. It was very nostalgic for me as I grew up with on a pond in our yard with a wood stove and hauling wood in the winter. I love the quiet of the winter air and getting away from the noise of the city! It was so wonderful! Chris was a doting host and wanted to make sure our stay was perfect! It felt like home for the 3 nights we were there. I highly recommend experiencing this place for yourself if you love getting away from it all and the outdoors!

Country Escape

Just stayed for Christmas and what a treat.So quiet and peaceful Lots of walking or snowshoeing trails on the property, skating on a private lake was a blast.Cabin is very rustic and comfortable Chris was an excellent Host and went above and beyond to make sure you had everything you needed!

Christmas Tradition

Soul Filling

My wife and I came out to visit this amazing little cabin based on a friends' recommendation, and it did not disappoint. It's one of those places where you can comfortably sit back and watch the world go by next to the warmth of the fire place. Chris was more than accommodating and was incredibly helpful during our stay. We will definitely go back.

Peace and quiet

A beautiful little spot thats great to entertain a family without the distractions of technology. Also a great place to relax and reflect. We enjoyed our time out there and will likely be back.

A little gem!

This place is just so awesome. Literally everything you could want. The swimming pond and porch swing are my favourite, my husband LOVES the hot tub. Plus fire pit, games, a full kitchen. Super serene. A perfect getaway. Chris is just awesome, super personable. We felt like we were staying at a friend’s house

Doesn’t Get Any Better Than This!!!

Always LOVE returning here with our 2 King Shepherds…this was our 3 rd visit and it remains beautiful, tranquil , and relaxing …the pond, trails, fire pit and wood fired hot tub all to ourselves to enjoy …such a gem of a property…Chris, the owner ,is an excellent communicator, ever conscientious ,and respects the privacy of his guests…Burch Forest is a must for anyone searching for a truly wonderful outdoor experience, while staying in the comfort of his lovely log cabin …it just doesn’t get any better than this…Thanks ever so much!!!

Something for everyone

Had a great time. Chris had done a great job at making sure there is something for everyone at this property. Our family has really diverse likes when it comes to vacation time. Everyone left feeling like they got to do what they wanted.

Lovely serene getaway

My friends and I had a wonderful stay at the cabin, it's great to have such a place in close proximity to Edmonton! The cabin was just as described in the listing, the hottub was wonderful and there were many lawn games set up for us to use. Chris was a welcoming host and even gifted us some homemade wine which we really appreciated. Would recommend this place highly.

Amazing getaway in nature

The property is so well maintained and has everything to make the best family memories. The kids were jumping off the dock while I was sitting on the patio overlooking the lake. When they got chilly they just warmed up in the hot tub and were right back in the lake. We went out in the canoe and caught tadpoles. There are so many walking trails to explore and berries for the kids to pick. Not to mention how welcoming and helpful Chris the property manager was. Anything we needed he was right there to help. You truly are just in a different and private world at the cabin. I loved our stay and will definitely be back again.

Great cabin

Amazing location and amenities! Was really a slice of paradise tucked away. Chris was a great host and we had a great vacation. There is tons to do on the property and the cabin had everything we needed. Would definitely come back!
