Broadway Getaway

Perfect location for getting to the theatres. Hotel and staff were all great. Would have been handy to have a small fridge and microwave.

Excellent location but it would have helped to know the exact name of the hotel we were staying at instead of “Art Decor” hotel. Also, it advertised a roof top but our hotel did not have that, false advertisement. Besides that, Great experience!

Weekend getaway

Was only here for 1 night but it was perfect walking distance for everythjng we wanted to do. Went to an online check in kiosk when we got there and avoided the long check in line. Our room was ready early, so it worked out perfectly. Place was clean and easy to get to. Would stay again if we ever come back.

Closest walk to time square given the weather which was rainy and gave us the convenience to use everything in a snap of a finger using the small gaps when train stopped.

Hotel Edison

The location was great, hotel is older with lots of charm, the staff were great. The room accommodations not as advertised in pics. Much smaller than described, no refrigerator, small shower/bathroom, no tub, no terrace, asked to be placed in a room with a terrace through the booking agency and was differed to the hotel, and one was not available by the time we booked. 2 bottles of water were provided every day with cleaning service Noisy at night but its New York, I was fine with it, family was not used to it. Attached to Friedmans Bar and Restaurant- great experience with singing servers.

NYC weekend getaway

Old hotel in Times Square.Room was clean but dark, no direct or indirect sun light, had to ask for another lamp. Additional daily resort fee of which I was not aware of but brkfst vouchers provided. Perfect location if you want to stay in Times Square. Nice staff and adjoining bar had great drinks and entertainment which was a pleasant surprise. Walking or train to almost everywhere ! Name of property not provided until booked.

Great time!

Location was great and facility was nice! Would recommend to others. There was an additional $35/day facility fee that I wasn’t aware of until we checked in so be aware of that. But they did provide food vouchers for breakfast or lunch for each day which was nice.

Our room was small, typical for NYC but newly renovated. Very clean And beds were comfortable. BR is tiny but serviceable. Love the Art Deco decor. Staff helpful. Can’t beat the location. Steps to Times Square and subway. Secure parking across the street, about $50 per night. My one criticism is the “ included” breakfast vouchers. Still costs $6.95 per person and you only get 2 per night though we had 3 people staying in the room. Breakfast itself was better than most in a lovely light filled room. I would stay here again.

Even though my ticket was validated at the garage for parking I had to pay full price and because I was over the 24 hour by maybe an hour tops they charged me double I paid a $110 for parking Which did not make sense cause I did not even get any discounted rate even though you stamped my ticket

5 days / so expensive for Canadians

From A-Z everything was expensive, the stay, the play & the food. The hotel was very well kept....they give you vouchers for breakfast, but you still have to pay for your breakfast (smoke & mirrors)...a yogurt with fruit & granola & honey cost us $9 CAD and they make it seem like they're giving you something substantial, but it's really not. How much is the yogurt generally? $25? Likely, really illustrating how expensive everything is. Ridiculous really. Aside from the price, everything was good or very good. The people, the stay, being at the heart of broadway. For 5 days, we felt like we were living in the centre of cirque de Soleil.... so much hustle/bustle....everyone wants to sell you something. Not because of the hotel, but because of the price and the bustle, next time, we'd stay downtown and subway up for the shows & shopping.

False advertisement

The pictures advertised versus the actual room was vastly different. The pictures advertised for this listing is for the executive terrace room. That is NOT what the two queen room looks like AT ALL! It was DISGUSTING! The whole floor smelled like an armpit. Carpet had holes, walls were chipped and it was overall disgusting. I was shocked I didn’t see a cockroach. Thankfully, the manager was able to move us to a nicer room. I showed him the picture advertised and he said that was their terrace room. Take a look at the rooms on their website before you book. Huge fail through VRBO!

Terrible noise from Edison Ballroom

Great location and decent size of room, though a very small bathroom and no refrigerator. The worst was the insane level of noise from the Edison Ballroom (part of the hotel) from 11 pm to 3 am. Unbearable and we were unable to sleep for half the night. Ask what events are scheduled for your stay. Hotel security and the manager both lied to us about what was causing the noise and when it would end.
